  • Name: 2010 Skullcandy Icon Soft Headphones w/ Mic
  • Pros:  Built in mic/ audio control, comfort,
  • Cons:  DONT STAY ON,

Experience:   I love my in ear skullcandy's so i bought these. Only problem is if i am doing anything besides walking they usually will fall off. BUT, i got them for snowboarding so i can just use my goggle strap to keep them on and everything is ok.

  • Name: 2011 Dakine Torque Driver Snowboard Tool
  • Pros:  cheap, light, comes with all you need
  • Cons:  ?,

Experience:   Good little tool to adjust something on the fly. small enough to cary around with you all over but kinda hurts if you fall on it wrong on a box. but thats my own fault for falling to much

  • Name: 2010 Ride Contraband
  • Pros:  Very light weight, Quick to step in and get going, adjustable
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Got the binding today and ripped them up all around the mountain. I was a little worried about how well they would hold up but they did a great job and were very responsive and didnt miss a beat. Very quick to slide into and latch and get on the move. and can handle anything you can throw at it. i didnt take any large jumps just small and med size. but with those jumps a little pipe action and rails they worked great.

I am 6'2 and 165 lbs athletic build I usually wear a size 32 jeans and have to use a belt so around a size 31 actually. i got a size small and they fit pretty close to how i like very snug

  • Name: 2011 Burton Aluminum Stud Snowboard Mat
  • Pros:  Sticking well so far,

Experience:   Heated up my buddies board and syuck these on and they have been through a beating and have stayed on so far this season. look good because they dont block the graphics on the board.

  • Name: 2010 Demon Quattro Hybrid Stomp Pad Purple
  • Pros:  good grip, sticks well, looks awesome
  • Cons:  none,

Experience:   A good looking stomp pad that has stuck on my board very well. Good grip for a rather skinny pad even with my size 11 boot.

  • Name: 2007 Lamar Power Gold Boa Snowboard Boots - Men's
  • Pros:  BOA system,
  • Cons:  wearing down rather quick,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  stiff
  • Shoe Size:  10-11
  • Boot Size:  10

Experience:   Decent set of boots that came with a lamar package. A little stiff but fit true to size. The boa system works well on these boots. the part by the bottom of the boa laces are starting to show wear and the threads are starting to come undone after a season and half of riding.

  • Name: 2007 Lamar MX35 Silver Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Adjustable, hold together well,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I got these bindings with a lamar package on E-bay. Bindings are pretty good and are adjustable. I did have 2 problems with these bindings. 1st. I set my bindings at 15 on my front foot at the begining of the day and by the end it has turned back to 0. i am unsure if this is the fault of the bindings or most likely the nuts holding the bindings the board. 2nd. With the boots i wear ocassionally the boots will ride up on the front part of the edges of the bindings. (this doesnt cause i major problem i just re latch the streaps after moving my foot. Overall a pretty good binding for the price
"Starting board" 1/5/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Lamar Ultra Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Pros:  Cheap, holds together very well,
  • Cons:  STIFF, rough,

Experience:   I bought this as my first snowboard package from E-bay before i heard abouth this site. I got this board with Lamar MX35 Silver Snowboard Bindings This is a good starting board and that is about it. Compared to other boards (more expensive) this board is rough. Alot of chatter at speed, turning is the exact opposite of smooth. It is a good board to learn on and you dont have to feel bad if you beat it up. It has been through alot and it has held up through alot of falls, trees and even some riding on the street.
