Experience:   I bought these gloves after I get a nasty tear in one of my old gloves. I always thought you just had to deal with your gloves if they kept your hands a little drier than without gloves. I was amazed with these gloves. My hands stayed dry the entire first day I used these gloves, and surprisingly they were warm as well. The gloves were very comfortable and I really liked them overall.

Experience:   I picked this board up as the first board I owned for $120. I thought that 157 cm would be the right size for me, but it wasn't. I thought the board would be great for butters, but I was wrong. It was super stiff, which is good for progression, but not for a park board. I snowboard all of the mountain, from the groomers to the park to the backcountry. The board worked great in the occasional powder and worked amazingly in northwestern crud and slush. I am now looking to replace it because I need a board that is more flexible, so I can work on my park snowboarding. Overall the snowboard is very good for most of the mountain, but could use more flex for the park.

Experience:   I picked up these bindings because the tech looked cool, where you don't need to completely redo your bindings every run. I felt at home switching from 09 burton customs to these, and I put my bindings on in less than 5 seconds, while my friends struggled to take only 30 seconds.

Experience:   I got this board because I've heard so much about it, and wanted to see what all of the hype was about. The board did perfectly in the fresh snow from the night before I first used it, and stayed great when the slopes were scraped down to ice. Works great for freestyle, but isn't only good for freestyle.

Experience:   These earbuds are great for casual use, like staying around your house or other uses that don't involve much movement. These do NOT work for snowboarding, unless you like cold hands. They fall out of your ears very easily when snowboarding, and you can't very easily re-insert them without taking your gloves off so they shouldn't be on a snowboarding website.

Experience:   These look great and work great at home or on dry days. When they get wet however, they ruin the whole point of the goggle because they get so foggy you can't see anything. I recommend choosing dragon goggles if you want to avoid fog for a low price.

Experience:   A while ago I started to notice that my burton stomp pad was just getting covered with snow and becoming completely useless when I got off the lift. I managed to get it off and replaced it with this. This pad is perfect, it gives your boot a place to grip (the ridge in the middle) and of course it goes on easily and stays on. Great stomp pad.

• Cons:  sticky when removing foot from bindings, bindings loosen a small amount between/during runs,

Experience:   I borrowed my friends board for a day, and he had to show me how to use the bindings. Once I had them down, I was able to use them easily. I loved not having to re do my right binding each run. My only complaint was that when you had to take the bindings off all the way, the ratchet was very hard to pull back.

Experience:   These bindings have many options to fit your boot better. Customizing the bindings takes at most 10 minutes to be a great fit. After about 15 uses, the rachets on the toe straps stopped clicking back after you tightened. This has only been a minor inconvenience so far, but it could cause problems. I've used the bindings over the entire mountain, and they've done great from icy park days to deep powder days. Overall they are great bindings, just seemingly low quality

Experience:   I picked up these boots because my old boots had a boa coil that broke. I was low on cash at the time, so I chose the cheapest boots that I could get. I wasn't expecting much from them, so I was surprised when I used them. First off the moldable liners are amazing, they slowly form to your foot as you use the boot. My first day using them I noticed that the clip for the liner did get tangled easily, but that wasn't much of a problem. The boot has held up for everything from carving down blues to cliff drops on double blacks to hitting the 35 footers in the park. Overall, this boot is as good of a boot that you could get for such a low price, it actually beats boots of higher prices easily.

When we bought them at REI the guy there said they would scratch easily, but they got scratched just from being put in the back of the jeep. My aunt said the goggles fit her face perfectly, and she has not had a single complaint yet. She said there hasn't been any fog at all.

Experience:   When I first rode these skis, they felt a bit awkward because I was used to racing skis. They do take getting used to, quite a few runs. When you practice enough, you are able to carve with them as well as on regular skis. The edges are not amazing, and it can get uncontrolled on bumps. These deserve a 3.5/5, which I'll round up to 4.
