"great intro helemt" 3/20/2011
Helpful Review?   (4) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Bern Macon EPS Snowboard Helmet Men's
  • Pros:  eps, cheap,
  • Cons:  odd shaped ,

Experience:   l got this over at altrec because they had the size l needed and not here (xl). To begin this is a eps helmet meaning that its meant for multiple hits and not a single one then its done. at least thats what l read when l was comparing helmets. This is one of the cheaper helmets l found on the market with a simple design and no over the top graphics at all. l found however after l purchased that the shape is not circular/oval completely, but has a ridge on the helemt that makes it oval then flat. hard to explain but l was expecting circular shaped. Then when l got the helmet, it came with a summer liner instead of winter, not the helmet problem l suppose but was a problem for me since it doens't cover the ear. because l lived in canada, bern was being douche and woulnd't send me a replacement part and all so l had to live with the knit liner which even though claimed to be just black was actually a checkered style. Very warm liner though that at times l was sweating. The helmet itself was great buy, but bern and altrec customer service failed for me. Since it isnt the helmet itself, l still give it a pretty good rating
"huge size" 2/16/2011
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Oakley Crowbar Goggles
  • Pros:  large viewing radius, comfortable, helmet compatable
  • Cons:  too big, expensive,

Experience:   got these as a gift. the grey lens to be specific. The pro first. The lens and goggle in genreal is huge, hence a big viewing radius. I really like the way it sits on my noes, doesn't bother me at all and able to attach to my helmet also. However the size is huge compared to the anon l had before that it becomes overwhelming if you look in the mirror. Can be good and bad, personal preference l guess. and for 100$ l rather get anon as they are better style in my honest opinion. It does fog up if l get a tiny bit of snow inside but l guess thats normal. Overal good goggles, comparable to other ones.
"sickest watch" 6/15/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Nixon Lodown Watch
  • Pros:  led light , sick time hand, waterproof
  • Cons:  big,

Experience:   got this in purple. looks a bit different than the display picture. mine was circular clock inside a block. The led lights really help when you want to use it during night time. the mini hand to tell the time is actually unique for me, no other watch l own is like that. a very simplistic design if your into that. a key feature is that its waterproof. however the watch is pretty big on me although light. l would rate this right before my time teller P. l would porbbaly buy this again if it goes on sale as nixon is pretty expensive watch imo, best color selection if you watn to stand out though
