"Burton Vice Mittens" 1/17/2015
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Vice Mittens
  • Pros:  Great Quality! , Warm, Dry
  • Cons:  I wish the leather Palm was thicker it gets worn , Sizes run small,

Experience:   Got these to replace and worn-down pair of Burton Baker gloves. These are a step up from those for sure, and being a mitten instead of a glove they are much warmer. The included liner is really nice with the grippy palm and fingers and allows you to take off the mitten without being completely exposed to the elements. Looking forward to putting the durability to the test boarding this season but I expect they will be fine based on my history with other products from the brand. These mitts can be used to control touchscreen phones. I demoed the technology on a different pair of gloves (with fingers) in the store it and it works great. With the mitts, however, be forewarned that it is difficult to be precise on a touchscreen because the pleather strip used for the touchscreen is rather wide. I wasn't able to accurately input my passcode, for instance. The good news is that you can get precise by using your thumb to control the phone because it has the same material, and it works like a charm. So if you want mitts, like I do, expect to have to use your thumb to control touchscreen devices.
"Foursquare Filled Icon Visor Beanie" 1/17/2015
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Foursquare Filled Icon Visor Beanie
  • Pros:  price , fit, quality
  • Cons:  None free,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Normal fit

Experience:   I love this beanie so much I just had to write a review about it. I ordered the beanie after reading the reviews and losing my favorite beanie at the gym. This beanie is incredibly warm, and extremely light weight. The material is breathable so it doesn't feel like you are wearing anything on your head. I have very short hair, somewhat large ears and I wear glasses. What I like about this beanie is that I don't feel constriction at my temples and ears because I wear glasses. My skin and hair are very sensitive and most beanies make me want to scratch because they are so itchy. I don't know if it's the material or how just how well it's made but I never have that itching sensation with this beanie. It's very stylish looking for glasses wearers it looks good with thick frames. You can even wear it to the office, well, depending on your office culture. For keeping your head warm, I'd say it does it's job. I live in the nyc area so the weather here isn't extremely cold, but I also like hats that don't turn your head into an oven, which this beanie avoids.
"Can't go wrong with Burton" 10/27/2013
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2013 Burton Invader Boots
  • Pros:   Great design, Build quality, Warm
  • Cons:  Soft,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  10
  • Boot Size:  10

Experience:   These boots are for a beginner - intermediate level. For a higher or more demanding level, I don't feel that they provide the necessary control. They are comfortable and the inside is soft yet sturdy. They mold right to the feet and my heals stay in place. Also, the boot is very warm and waterproof my feet stay dry in them all day. Full rubber out sole with ice spikes gives good traction. Lacing system is easy and works very well. Good boot for riding in all day.
"Red helmets" 2/9/2013
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Red Trace 2 Snowboard Helmet
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Warm, Light

Experience:   I've own this helmet for about a year. The best price I found was on Trusnow.com This helmet is extremely comfortable and warm. My head was never cold wearing this helmet and did a good job protecting me when I fell. I really like the wind blocker piece that stops wind from going between your goggle and helmet. In the summer time I take off the bottom part of the helmet and use it to go bicycling.
"Good Jacket" 2/7/2015

  • Name: 2010 Sessions Ignition Snowboard Jacket
  • Pros:  waterproof, Warm, Dry
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  good

Experience:   I'm a 16.5 shirt size and bought the L size for this jacket. Loaded with features and the jacket was nice and warm. Was easy to reach for pockets and didn't obstruct movement. Kept out the wind and water. This is my 3rd sessions jacket and sessions never disappoint.I love the look and feel of this Jacket. It's very comfortable and keeps me warm while I snowboard. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a very reasonable jacket to ski or snowboard with.
"P1.1" 1/18/2015
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Escapade Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Super comfortable, Good support,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   These are incredibly comfortable, and plush. Good support. Super soft flex and great edge control. Highbacks give you lots of control and the dual component baseplates allow for super responsiveness when shredding the mountain. The straps are almost like jelly and the gatorskin look is clean. I ride about half park and they are awesome everywhere on the mountain. I went with a L binding for size 10 boots tho, I could of done for the M binding. With the large you might have too much room in the cage and your boot will have a lot of play and movement within the binding. The cut off for a M binding is usually a 10. These will work with both Burton 3D or other 4x4 pattern.
"Mountain Hardwear" 1/18/2015
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Mountain Hardwear Versteeg Jacket Cool Moss/Casper
  • Pros:   waterproof, lightweight, Excellent fit
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Excellent fit

Experience:   The Jacket is great and so far does very well in the rain. This jacket kept me extremely dry when a downpour hit us while we were fishing on a boat. I thought the seams at least were going to seep water onto my sleeves, but I was wrong. The rain was so heavy that even my underwear got wet (from sitting in an open boat), but the jacket kept the top part of my body dry - no problem! This is a very light, easy to pack and durable jacket. Definitely worth the sale price. I am 5.8 and slim and small North face jackets were huge on me and too long. The jacket is great for smaller guys with the same quality of companies like northface. Got to wear it, loved the color & fit. Great purchase
