  • Name: 2010 Union Data
  • Pros:  Very responsive, Very simple to use, Good for Frankenbinders
  • Cons:  None so far,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Got that Custom House Team Data and mixed it up with some forces. basically just swapped basetray. Best bindings I've ridden. So Unions will always be in my arsenal.
"Hell of a Goggle to get for FREE!!" 5/8/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Smith Fuse Mirror
  • Pros:  FREE from Sierra Fog Free, Vents, GREAT lenses, 2nd lens is a nice bonus, comfy, helmet compatible
  • Cons:  The clips seem to fray the strap as you adjust them, my only flaw I could find

Experience:
"Do it all Pants with out Gore" 5/8/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Burton Apres
  • Pros:  Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof
  • Description:  WEATHER: Spring Day, Blue Bird Powder Day, Snow and Rain Mixed, Sleet, Storming and White Out, LEG: Relaxed, WAIST: Feels true to size, INSEAM: Feels true to length,

Experience:   These pants have a 15k/10g rating. which keeps me quite dry on those spring days. Tons of pockets, and plenty of style. Warm as a pro because i kept quite toasty in 'em, but did get to take them out for a really cold day but I feel they'd do great
"High Quality on a budget" 5/8/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Burton Ruler
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Heel hold, Comfortable, Easy lacing, Durable, Traction, Good quality, Easy in & out, Well known brand, Popular model
  • Fit:  average

Experience:   This is my 2nd pair of rulers. They offer high quality for a good price. The stiffer feel lets you use them for everything and have quick response and great support. But at the same time they are still manageable to walk in and jib with.
"One of my Favorites" 3/25/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Forum Seeker Second
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Carving,Groomers,Jumps
  • Pros:  Durable, lightweight, Easy to carve, Stable at high speeds, Great value, Stiff, Well known brand

Experience:   The seeker is on the stiffer side of things. Kills it on jumps. Stability to go mach 2 into the hit and then not buckle on the landing of that huge air. The board will turn on a dime. Fairly aggressive. Rides anything well. Rode my buddies in the park before I got mine and it can ride rails but is a better jump board. Got mine into some 1+ ft of fresh in the trees and it did just fine. I recommend for advanced riders that want to kill all mountain and still knock up the park.

"Trying an older model" 3/15/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Burton Custom
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Carving,Groomers,Jumps,Powder,Rails
  • Pros:  lightweight, Easy to carve, poppy, Stable at high speeds, Popular model, Strong edgehold, Popular on mountain, Well known brand

Experience:   I decided to get an older Custom than my 08 cuz i could get it in a larger size at a very affordable price. I took a 162 into deep and it floated pretty damn well. I did have it set back. This has all the tech of the 08 I had and i really really like it. Both years are awesome.
"My first board" 3/15/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Burton Air
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  poppy, Popular model, Strong edgehold, Great value, Well known brand
  • Cons:  Top sheet scratches

Experience:   The air is a long running line (not anymore though) It was my first board. I road it not a whole lot before i snapped the nose. You could say it's weak cuz of that, but it's really not weak, that would have happened to any board. The air is a great all around board. It handled anything I threw at it and was plenty fast

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Rome Vinyl Womens
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Groomers,Jumps,Rails
  • Pros:  Durable, lightweight, poppy, Great value, Soft, Well known brand
  • Cons:  Too soft

Experience:   I'm a 5'7 160-170 lbs guy with size 8 feet. I swapped boards with a fellow instructor, so i was riding her board for a while. I say soft for con and pro because i like a stiffer board and yes i realize this is a girls board, but a pro because it made it fun to ride. I had fun on this board, definitely playful. Possibly more so for a guy, but still plenty playful. Ladies out there, pick up this stick. Rome is SOLID and this will definitely keep you going for a while
