"love 'em" 7/13/2011

  • Name: 2008 Salomon Antidote Light Snowboard Bindings Women's
  • Pros:  nice toe strap, comfy, durable
  • Cons:  buckles slip after some use, sizing was a bit small,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I've had these binding a few years now. I totally love them. My only real complaints are the buckles seem to slip, like the strap is missing teeth. I also thought the sizing was a bit snug, I have small feet, but my burton freestyle boots are a really tight fit. All and all I would recommend these bindings, they've held up well for the use and didn't weren't really pricey.

  • Name: 2010 Gravis Hemperpedic Sandals
  • Pros:  cheap, stylish,
  • Cons:  tight fitting out the box, need break in time,

Experience:   last year my hubby bought a pair of these and wasn't thrilled about them once the hay like material on the strap started coming off (after a month). This years offering looks better made as the straps are all a heavier duty material than straw. He says they're still tight and need breaking in like last years, but once they do break in they're comfy.
"some decent bindings" 6/20/2011

  • Name: 2010 Salomon Arcade
  • Pros:  comfortable, adjustable toe strap, nice mid range flex
  • Cons:  not much of a toe ramp adjustment,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I'm using my wifes account to review these, so disregard her sizing info. I'm 6'3 220lbs. w/ a size 13 boot. coming off a couple of seasons with some stiff Ride Ex bindings these Salomons were a welcome change. I could tell a big difference with the flex. There's enough to get buttery and still have quick response. The toe strap that doesn't disconnect fully has always been a curious thing about Salomon bindings to me, but it just takes getting used to. They mounting system is great, no more digging through the snow looking for a base plate screw. I only used these a few times at the end of last season, but I really dug them all and all.

  • Name: 2009 Roxy Silhouette Snowboard
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,Park,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  light, flexible,
  • Cons:  none so far,

Experience:   I picked up one of these last season and love it. It's a huge step up from my old kemper twisted. Light and lovely, this thing has upped my game. The boys were droppin' jaws at my improvement.
"they were worth the price" 6/16/2011

  • Name: 2009 Ride LXH Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  cheap, aluminum frame=quick response,
  • Cons:  cheap, sizing,
  • Flex:  stiff

Experience:   When I got these bindings they were $40, so I got two pair. They're for sure worth what I paid for them. They seem fairly durable, but Ride always does have they're strap issues. I've used them a few times and really dig them. In the park, in the pow, they've done me right. They are really snug depending on the boots I'm wearing, so maybe take your boots to a local shop to see what size you really need before you order.
