"Great boots" 10/27/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Burton Moto Snowboard Boots
  • Pros:  can pull really tight, give great support, easy to handle with gloves
  • Cons:  little harder to get off, cords may break from excess pulling,
  • Fit:  stiff
  • Flex:  stiff
  • Shoe Size:  10.5-11
  • Boot Size:  10.5

Experience:   I got these bad boys because compared to another Burton boot that had standard laces these boots you could get sooo much tighter and they are easy to get on with gloves on. They provide great support in the ankle and sharp response. They also have the tread reduction so my stance angles are not effected by my toe over hang. overall a lot better boot for an extra 30 bucks compared to the Burton poachers I was looking at

  • Name: 2011 Oakley Sideswipe TShirt Men's
  • Pros:  soft material, price,
  • Cons:  odd fit, long fit,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  XL
  • Description:  really long on the torso

Experience:   I bought a medium shirt figuring that it might fit a little bit tight after i had washed it. wrong! the chest of the shirt fits like a large which isnt too bad because i normally wear a large. the problem is that the length of the shirt is like an XL. it is awkwarly long compared to the chest. still a good shirt just recoment getting a size smaller if not two.

  • Name: 2012 Red Trace Snowboard Helmet Raw
  • Pros:  good protection, good fit,
  • Cons:  headphones sound like crap, not very warm, little fleece linning

Experience:   So I got this helmet and was diggin it at first. I was a little leary about the sound quality of the headphones because that was the reason why I bought it. I then tested the skullcandy inserts and they were a hundred times better sound. I figured if I was going to have to buy the skullcandy inserts anyways It would make more sense to just spend the extra 10 bucks on the Mutany. also It felt to me that the helmet didnt have very much fleece linning inside it for warmth, and I couldn't get a hat on underneath. my head is shaved so I also needed a bit warmer helmet... the mutany has much more fleece in it and is definatly warmer. in all i'd say spend the 10 bucks and get the mutany and then 15 bucks for the headphone inserts you will be glad in the end.
"Pretty Good" 11/30/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Red Mutiny Snowboard Helmet
  • Pros:  good padding, warm no hat needed underneath, fits most goggles well
  • Cons:  headphone pocket zipper rattles, goggle clip difficult with thick gloves,

Experience:   Over all this is a pretty good helmet. I originally bought the trace audio helmet and the padding and fleece lining was cheap so I spent the extra 10 bucks and got this helmet. though it doesnt come with headphones you can pick up the skullcandys for 15 bucks. This helmet is prty warm and my head is shaved so I need something to keep my head warm. I dont have huge goggles like EG2's but my spy soldiers fit great on it and my Anons (R.E.D. helmets are made for Anon goggles) fit great of course too.
