  • Name: 2009 Dakine Concourse Single Ski Bag Pink Plaid
  • Pros:  Padded, Long, Easy
  • Cons:  Small,

Experience:   I think some of the negative reviews were stemmed from people expecting this to fit boots - it doesn't and isn't meant to. You'd need a boot bag (ski bag + boot bag = 1 check luggage @ almost any airline). The padding is durable and as expected. Expect anything more and upgrade to a hard case. You can fit your skis, poles and some rolled up thermals and what not in there but it's not made to fit all your gear like a snowboard bag or carry all type ski bag. Basically ... it does what it does ... and it does it well, but don't expect more. I think it's a great bang for your buck.

Experience:   I seriously can't wait. There are still a few of you I've been dying to meet! I get to see the store. I get to drink myself silly and ride with some of the coolest peeps around! Like MT said - come one come all! It's the best way to progress and the night time activities are for all drinking abilities as well! Just ask Dlaw...

  • Name: 2010 Burton Chopper Snowboard - Kid's
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Pros:  easy, kid appeal, small sizes
  • Cons:  price,

Experience:   We got this board for my baby bro when he was 4 or 5. It was the perfect size but at 4 or 5, he'd give it an hour or 2 and never really had the patience to really learn. This year at 6, he really showed what can be done on this board... and now I can finally right a valid review. This board simply rocks when it comes to teaching your kid to ride. It's not easy finding a board under 115cm but burton made it happen with the chopper. Whomever says a kid under the age of 5 or 6 can't ride... has got it wrong. Within a day or two my brother was getting off lifts, skating, and linking turns down winding greens without a problem. The easy rider tech gives him just the nudge he needs to hold himself upright on those moments he can potentially catch and edge and it still proves able to hold an edge... I can't explain it... but it works. The only downside is definitely the price... being that at a 80cm board... he'll definitely be outgrowing it by next year. But hey... if it means he can keep up with us sooner... I was willing to make the investment. Oh and the monster graphic... well that didn't hurt. He was obviously pumped for the look of his new cool snowboard.

  • Name: 2010 Salomon Lily Gift Snowboard Boots Women's
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Responsive, Warm
  • Cons:  Lace lock,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  8.5
  • Boot Size:  7.5

Experience:   These are my 2nd Pair of Salomon Lily boots. I love them. They are really comfortable and super responsive. They hold up really well no matter what you are doing. They have a mid-flex. I love the liner, the shape is amazing for reducing heel lift whilst keeping my feet warm. The only part I wasn't thrilled about was from my previous pair. After a while, the lace lock didn't stay tight enough anymore. This is a likely problem in many speed lacing systems. It took a bit for it to happen, which is why I felt comfortable buying another pair. I definitely got my money's worth out of them. The bottom line is they hold a wonderful balance between comfort & responsiveness.

  • Name: 2010 Bonfire Mismatch Womens
  • Pros:  cute, thin with a padded shin, warm
  • Cons:  too tight in the calf section,
  • Fit:  Too small
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  S
  • Description:  The foot part fits but the calf part is WAY too small

Experience:   I got these and was hoping I'd at least have a sock that fit, but the calf is way too narrow. I can hardly get it over my calf at all. I have large muscular calves and if you have the same you may want to size up. The foot part did fit though.
"Great Jacket" 6/2/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Sessions Ignition Snowboard Jacket
  • Pros:  Vest (optional insulation), Looks cool, waterproof rating
  • Cons:  mittens,
  • Jacket Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Baggy

Experience:   1st of all, I'm female but was looking for a baggier fit jacket. I picked this up because it got great reviews and I loved how it looked on my friend. I haven't worn the jacket with the vest, as it was already spring once I purchased it but the jacket on it's own is great. It's a great shell that has well placed air vents and keeps me dry. It fits on the baggier side, so if you are looking for a more fitted look, you may want to size down. My only complaint is of the mittens, I have to say that I hate them. They fold into the sleeve and are bulky and awkward. It's annoying to get your real gloves on when they are in the way, but what I dislike most is the black soft material which stick out on the sleeve. They absorb water like a sponge. But if that's the only problem I have with them... I can live with it. I've worn the vest on it's on and it's very cool looking and is definitely warm. I can't wait for next season to start again so I can pull it out of the closet.

  • Name: 2010 Sessions Sagalot Snowboard Pants Men's
  • Pros:  Saggy, Comfortable, Dry
  • Pant Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Baggy in the crotch and butt

Experience:   I am female and purchased these pants after they were recommended for me. I wanted something baggier fit. I purchased a size large as they were all that was left in citron. They fit me at the waist after tying the swim trunk like string tie. Everything else is super baggy. I love them. I have room to get low, to tuck, and to move around, but I am still kept dry. They are a shell and great for spring conditions which is when I used them. I wore shorts underneath as a base layer (since it was really hot) and didn't get wet while sitting around or kneeling in the park waiting. I love the fit and the look of these pants and the quality is good. If you are looking for a tighter fit pant (whether you are male or female) this is not for you though.

  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Poppy, Stable, playful
  • Cons:  none,

Experience:   I wasn't going to write a review because after only 1 day on it, what can I really say... but I needed to comment because I really can't say enough good things about it. At 1st I was a bit nervous on the ice with it, but it held really well. We were all booking it down the hill and the RC held up well. But the part that I can't stop thinking about is that I finally learned how to ollie with it. The pop was noticeably there. It was just so fun to play around with and learn new things on. I really recommended it. Not to mention I absolutely love the clean design Phil drew up. With the current sale... you'd be silly not to pick this gem up.

UPDATE!: So I got a few more days on this baby and I LOVE IT! I brought it to Tahoe hoping to get at least a day on it and I didnt want to stop. It was so fun on the steeps, stable in the chop, fun in the slush, great on the jumps (yes I got some air... a few inches count!). All in all it was just an AMAZING experience and the board tore ish up! I love it! Thank you Sierra!

  • Name: 2008 Dakine Mega Blaster Snowboard Tool
  • Pros:  many bits, handy carry case,
  • Cons:  cheap, big,

Experience:   I really like this tool. For the price you really can't go wrong. I picked it up to keep in my pocket but honestly, it's too big to do that comfortably. I wouldn't wan to fall on it. It is however, handy to keep in a backpack or board bag... even in your glove box. It has so many bits there is something for every piece of equipment you own. It's comfortable and it's sturdy enough to get the job done. If you screw something in too tight though, you feel like you may break the tool... it is still plastic so take it easy with the guns.

  • Name: 2010 Smith I/O
  • Pros:  Field of Vision, Lense Change, Looks Great
  • Cons:  Price,

Experience:   I've been using these goggles for about 2 months now and I can't complain about them at all! I tried the I/Os but preferred the larger size. They fit perfectly with my helmet (Smith Holt), they don't fog up on me, changing my lenses are a breeze, purchasing additional lenses is easy, and they are huge... I feel like I can see everything. I love the look of them as well. I really don't think you can go wrong with this purchase.

  • Use:  Butters,Groomed,High Speeds,Jibs,Jumps,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Poppy, Flexy, Versitle

Experience:   I was able to ride this board this past weekend. It was a 155 which is larger than my ideal board size but still well within my range. I took it into some steeper mogul runs, some heavy deep snow, into some choppy crusty stuff, and all over the groomers and it handled great! It was a lot of fun to ride and even though it was on the large size, I was able to press the board. I really thought the board was so fun and I loved how it was able to do well on different types of terrain. I can't wait to ride it again. Oh and I really love the graphics too :)

  • Pros:  Soft, Versitle,

Experience:   So, I finally took all the advice I was getting and ordered the SMF. It came just in time for the weekend and I rode it without thinking twice about going back to my other board. It's likely the softest board I've ever ridden and possibly the most fun. I'm definitely not a freestyle rider but I'm trying to get more into it. This made presses infinitely easier for me and I started practicing ollies. I used the board on some groomers and even on some mogul runs and it held up great despite the softness. All in all I thought this was a great addition. I don't regret the purchase at all, and I have a feeling this is going to be my go to board 80% of the time. Thanks Sierra!

  • Name: 2010 Burton Chopper Youth
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Pros:  Tiny for beginner, Riglet holes, managable flex and size

Experience:   I got this board for my brother in the 90cm. He is loving the graphics which a 5 year old cares about a lot (what kid doesnt). The board has been really helping him progress and I'm glad that he is starting to get it. Seems like good quality. He even tries to press it once in a while... which is hilarious and all sorts of awesome. The best part is now that we have a set up for him... a few inches in the backyard is a perfect opportunity to get a little lesson in for the grom.

  • Name: 2010 Burton Freestyle Grom Youth
  • Pros:  Easy to put on, Small,
  • Cons:  Easy to take off,

Experience:   So, I got this for my 5yo brother. He's just starting out but already I love them for him. Not that there are many choices in his size boot. He's able to strap them himself with no assistance from me. He has some trouble taking them off if snow gets stuck in the ratchets but he basically has it 80% of the time. They hold is boot in fine and he's progressing. I'd say that the ease for me is that I don't have to constantly help him in and out of his bindings and for a 5 year old I'd imagine that's rare. For the price and ease, I think it's great. Quality... I probably won't keep him in them once his feet/body grow and he can be in a more kid sized binding and can get in and out of them on his own.

  • Cons:  Gap between helmet, On the small side,

Experience:   These are great goggles and they get the job done, but I prefer a larger goggle to decrease the gap between my goggle and helmet (warmth!) and also to increase my peripheral vision. These are very cute and made to fit a small woman's face, but my preference would be a bigger goggle

Experience:   These socks are very thick and warm but they shrunk in the wash after the 1st time and now they don't stay up when i ride. Experience:   These gloves at the 70% off price are really a steal - so it almost feels wrong to say anything negative, but I don't think I'd pay full price for them. I'd rather go with the gore-tex gloves which I have and love! These are good and all but not as warm and not as waterproof... it's a great back up glove though... or for those warmer/dryer days.

Experience:   Got this board for my BF's birthday and he loves it - except he wished it was a little softer... it's a bit stiffer than he expected. Regardless he loves it. He tears it up on and off trail on this board - it's his all mountain go to board... then he takes it in the park and has no problems. He's really happy with it and that makes me really happy with it!

Experience:   I got these to follow my Burton Lexa's which I THOUGHT I love, but then I got these and saw what a true women's binding should feel like. Absolutely no calf bite, great all over the mountain, light weight, and even better, their ratchet is durable and reliable. Downside was trying to get these babies screwed onto my Burton Troop... that was a no go as they don't come with the conversion plates (I fault Burton... why change to the 3 hole... so you buy THEIR bindings),but I called Rome and they sent them for free. I ended up solving that problem by upgrading to a Roxy Eminence BTX and its a great set up... great board/great bindings.

  • Cons:  Too short for long legs. When I bend over, I am definitely showing off some underwear. Also, they are see through in the white. I have tall legs so they stop mid knee leaving a gap between my knees and socks - but still do the trick.

  • Name: 2008 Burton Gore Tex Womens
  • Pros:  These are so warm and keep you hands so dry! I don't even wear the liners because I'm warm enough without them. I had the 2007's - loved them so much I got another pair. I throw them in the washer when they are sweaty with no problems. I can even buckle into my bindings with no effort.
  • Cons:  None!

  • Name: 2007 Burton Troop Womens
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Durable, lightweight, Easy to carve, poppy

Experience:   I got the burton troop last winter and rode it for about a year now and its awesome. Its held up great in the east coast ice, hard pack, and slush and still did awesome in the rocky mountain pow. This is an awesome all mountain board.

  • Name: 2009 Burton Expedition Womens Thermal Pants
  • Pros:  Doesn't bunch around the ankles and is totally warm
  • Cons:  Seat depth is way to high... I can practically pull them up to my chest, yet couldn't go with a smaller size because they'd be too tight in my calves. I roll them up and over my outer layer to keep them up.

  • Pros:  Durable, lightweight, Easy to carve, poppy, Stable at high speeds, Strong edgehold

Experience:   Awesome board... the banana rocker is AMAZING... once you get a rocker you will NOT go back! Same is to be said about the MTX... you hold in the east coast hard pack and the ice.... and the board rides fast! It will make you a better rider!

  • Name: 2008 Rome Madison Womens
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Adjustability, Boot hold, Good construction quality, Comfortable
  • Cons:  Tricky instillation
  • Fit:  must be adjusted bigger

Experience:   I just got these for Christmas and was thrilled until I couldn't get them onto my Burton Board. They are not compatible with the Burton 3 hole system. I emailed Rome and they said converter discs will be mailed to me... they should just throw them in the box from the get!

  • Name: 2008 686 Lauren Womens Thermal Crew
  • Pros:  Awesome fit with added support. These thermals were warm and cozy on the super cold windy days. They also stayed pretty dry during those wet east coast days.
  • Cons:  A bit too short in the inseam. I'm 5'7 and they left my knees bare.

Experience:   It has a low rise if that bothers anyone
