"Not bad" 11/22/2011

  • Name: 2012 K2 Hurrithane Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Light, Comfortable ,
  • Cons:  Very flexy,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   I demoed these binding on the K2 www and it was a perfect match. I rode this set-up in the park and a bit around the mountain. It was really nice in the park due to the flexy high back but around the mountain it was very hard to ride. i would only recommend this binding to someone who is riding the park all day

  • Name: 2012 Arbor Draft Snowboard Black Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Rails
  • Pros:  jibbing ,
  • Cons:  its a noodle ,

Experience:   I demoed this board expecting it to be soft but it was a complete noodle... not so great. Butters and presses were so fun and effortless. The grip tech works really well and gives you lots of grip back which is lost from the centre RC.

  • Name: 2012 Salomon Salomonder Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Butters,Groomed,Jibs,Low Speeds,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  all mountain cruising , park, especially jibs, average weight
  • Cons:  none,

Experience:   Well, I demoed this board guessing that it would be a noodle and be great for jibbing and the park, BUT it was truly amazing for cruising the mountain cause of the equalizer side-cut which hold an edge really nice. I would recommend this board to anybody.
"Good Board" 11/30/2011

  • Name: 2011 Lib Tech Banana Magic Enhanced BTX Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Powder
  • Pros:  Traction, Flex, Speed
  • Cons:  Price,

Experience:   I demoed this board a couple of days ago at Vail and it was amazing... I have a Skate Banana [which i love] but this board fills all the gaps that the SB lacks. It was fantastic for charging down the mountain and did well in the powder. I ventured into the park and took the biggest kicker there and it excelled. If i had the cash iw ould buy this board :-(
"Unmatched versatility" 11/26/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Marker Griffon Schizo Ski Bindings
  • Pros:  good versatility, user friendly, nice colours

Experience:   I got these binding on my old but fantastic K2 extremes and found that i could ski anything with ease. Riding pow had never been easier when set back and i found that my swing weight went down and my swing speed went way up when centred. I would recommend these bindings to anyone who is looking for a set of skis that can do anything due to the bindings
"Perfection" 11/26/2011

  • Name: 2012 Burton Ion Snowboard Boots
  • Pros:  Shrink tech, comfortable ,
  • Fit:  stiff
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  12
  • Boot Size:  12

Experience:   I am normally a 12 and have to buy wide snowboards but with shrink tech [the best thing ever] my foot size becomes a 11 and i can use normal snowboards. I find that they give me unmatched comfort, comparing them to my nike ZF1 [i also like them]. The price is a bit high but its worth it.
"Great for Beginners " 11/26/2011

  • Name: 2011 Salomon Drift Rocker Snowboard
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Use:  Boxes,Halfpipe,Jumps,Rails
  • Pros:  Graphics, Flex, Side-cut

Experience:   I am only a beginner and it was fantastic! The equalizer side-cut is really good cause it holds an edge well. I found the flex really good for me because i could press it but i also got good pop. i would recommend this board to any beginner looking to get into snowboarding.
"Disappointing " 11/24/2011

  • Name: 2010 Skullcandy Full Metal Jacket Earbuds w/ Mic
  • Pros:  Stylish , Great sound,
  • Cons:  Not durable,

Experience:   I was so happy when I bought these head phones for $20 on sale, but after 2 weeks of usual use [everyday] the cord connecting the ear buds to the music thing started to fray... :-( The fit was very nice though. I would only buy these head phones on sale. I would not pay $50 for them...

  • Name: 2012 Nike Vapen Snowboard Boots Men's
  • Pros:  Comfort , Colours , Heat moulding
  • Flex:  soft
  • Shoe Size:  10
  • Boot Size:  10

Experience:   I just bought these boot and have worn them once and even without wearing them in they have been the comfiest boots i have ever worn due to the heat moulding. they are also incredibly warm and they look really nice. The price is also hard to beat .
"The Best" 11/24/2011

  • Name: 2012 Salomon Powder Snake Snowboard
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  High Speeds,Powder
  • Pros:  Pointy tip and tail, Rocker, Price
  • Cons:  None,

Experience:   I demoed this board not expecting much cause of it extremely low price point but it absolutely wowed me. I am comparing this board to the Yes PYL which is great and the Charlie Slasher, another great pow board, and the Powder snake beat them all for speed, manoeuvrability, float and price. I excelled in the 3 foot whistler pow and then some slushy groomers in the afternoon. i would recommend this board to any advanced rider looking for a board that can almost do everything. Note: i was hoping to go to the park but it was closed...
"Worked well" 11/23/2011

  • Name: 2012 Lib Tech Banana Stomp Pad Men's
  • Pros:  Looks Awesome, Grips well,
  • Cons:  A bit small,

Experience:   I Used this stomp pad on my Skate banana just because it would look cool but it gripped really well. [more than i expected] I would recommend this to anyone with a snowboard.
"Fantastic" 11/23/2011

  • Name: 2010 Line Pin
  • Pros:  Super light, Durable, Nice to hold
  • Cons:  None,

Experience:   This is my third year using the same poles, which is a record cause i spend most of my time on the mountain in the park and they get a beating. They are fantastic to hold because of the unique handle shape. I love these pole and will definitely buying them again.
"Good" 11/23/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 GNU Park Pickle PTX Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Rails
  • Pros:  Light weight, nice graphic,
  • Cons:  Asym. side cut, Price,

Experience:   I rode this board in an indoor snow centre, so i can only give a review about the park. The flex was really nice for park cruising, the Asym. side cut did not do anything for me and the blunted tips made spinning really easy. i enjoyed this board but i would not buy one due to its very high price.
"Fantastic" 11/22/2011

  • Name: 2012 Ride Georgetown Snowboard Jacket
  • Pros:  Very warm, Works well with ride pants, Nice colour way
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  S
  • Description:  Exactly what the size says

Experience:   I have only been up the mountain twice this year and have used my new outer wear, and it was great. I rode in some limited pow but the new tech where you can zip up you jacket and you pants worked a treat, no snow up my jacket. It is a minor feature but the hood fitted really well.

  • Name: 2011 Head Twin 84 Skis w/ Mojo 11 Wide Wh/Multi Bindings 311 Men's
  • Pros:  Nice graphic , Good price,
  • Cons:  heavy ,

Experience:   These are my first set of skis, so all i can compare them to his crappy demoes. They were much better than demos. they held the edge nicely and riding switch was really easy. i would recommend these skis to beginners to intermediates.
