Pros: Great Periphial vision, Comfortable on your face,
I spent $250 AUD on these goggles a few years ago and it was worth every penny. They are by far the most comfortable pair I have owned, they fit well with my RED helmet, don't push on my nose and don't rock a gap! I have the lense for sunny days and I can see everything. So long as you never wipe the inside of the lense, they will never fog on you. Ever.
This was the first snowboard I ever owned and it was perfect for me as a beginner. It is really easy to learn to ride on, however I feel this is definately a beginners board. If you are starting out, this is the board for you. Light, flexible and forgiving.
I bought this board a little longer (151cm - I am 153cm) so that it would handle high speed groomers and gift me loft in Pow. I have never felt as safe on a high speed run as I do on this Luna. It holds edges without biting into them, turns smoothly and helps me float in the pow. Riding switch is a little harder on this board and being stiff, it doesn't have a lot of pop. But if riding all mountain groomers and high speed runs is what you are after, this is the board for you. And it is cute as hell!
I rode in these boots for two seasons and they are indisctructable. They never really fully packed out so I had comfort and support the whole time. I went to a softer boot (cause I am getting older!) and wanted to try a boa. I am also short so I decided to look for a boot with a lower calf height, otherwise I probably would still be riding these boots.
Pros: Easy to get on and off, Comfortable all day,
Cons: Boa needs tightening now and then,
Shoe Size: 6.5
Boot Size: 6.5
I have ridden a full season in these boots and I love them I have a wider foot and I found this was the only boot I tried on that accomodated that. The inner lacing system is fantastic and has never come loose, the boa I find I need to tighten once after my walk from the car and then usually once after the first run, then once later in the day - not really a big deal and nothing that affects my riding because lets face it, it only takes a second and you can do it on the chair! The only down side I found with these boots is a bit of pressing on the top of my little toe but once I wore them in, I found that subsided. I can easliy do a full day riding/hiking in these boots and still walk at the end of the day!
This is by far the best snowboard I have ever owned. If I could sleep with it at night I would! I have owned a Ride (Solace 141), Option (149), K2 (Luna 151), Never Summer (Pandora 143) and the ROSSI TESLA leaves them in its wake. It is so easy to ride, pops off the slightest bump and makes you stick landings. Switch is as easy as riding regular on this beast. Dominates edges on groomers and holds its own in pow (although maybe a little to flexible for the deeper stuff), easy to hike backcountry too as it is light. This board practically finds natural features for you! Buy this board and thank me later, you'll love it if you are an intermediate to advanced rider.
