"Perfect... year after year" 4/11/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Sessions Concept Snowboard Pants Men's
  • Pros:  Good Fit, Gore-tex,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  XL
  • Fits Like:  XL
  • Description:  Just right

Experience:   I've been buying a pair of Sessions gore-tex pants for the last four seasons now. The name changes but the quality doesn't. These pants hold up well for me. I've only bought other pairs for the different colors. This year they have way more colors to choose from... nice. For me these are my pants of choice and I've tried lots of other brands. If you can get them on sale, it's a no brainer... just do it. They will keep you dry and with a little care last for years.
"Nice pants" 4/12/2010

  • Name: 2010 Sessions Gridlock Snowboard Pants
  • Pros:  Bright colors, Good Tech Rating,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  XL
  • Fits Like:  XL
  • Description:  Average baggy fit

Experience:   Sessions makes some good stuff, and these pants are no exception. I have 2010 Gridlocks and a pair from a few years ago. Not much has changed and for good reason... if it isn't broke... don't fix it. Plenty of pockets, clips and vents, great colors, and a good waterproof rating make these a solid choice for the hill.
"Great mid-size bag" 4/10/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Dakine Girls Split Roller Small
  • Pros:  Nice size, Great colors, Strudy handle and wheels
  • Cons:  Can be heavy when packed full, Doesn't always stand up on end,

Experience:   I bought this bag for my neice and she loves it. She uses it to transport a weeks worth (5 days) of clothes home from school to wash and it fits everything she needs. It has nice mesh compartments inside and two separate pockets outside that keep your stuff from bouncing around. Good sturdy handle and wheels, looks tough. She really likes the color. All Dakine bags are built well... no worries here.
"Nice little carry-on..." 4/10/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Dakine Overhead Travel Bag Men's
  • Pros:  Small, Lightweight, Easy to Carry,
  • Cons:  Smaller than most carry-ons,

Experience:   For someone who likes to pack light this bag is perfect. I needed an overnight or weekend bag that was small enough to carry around and this bag is working out fine. Wheels are nice, but if I'm in a hurry I like to just pick it up and run. It also fits in the overhead compartment with ease... no worries about overpacking. Good quaility and good construction from Dakine is nothing new. I like every Dakine bag I own.
"Nice Solid Beanie" 4/14/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Sessions Monaco
  • Pros:  Snug, Soft, Warm
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Soft and Snug

Experience:   I have a few Sessions beanies and they are all good quality. I have this one in the Latte color and like it a lot. I wear it to ride, shovel out the driveway and around the house on cold days. The orange stripe is bright and I've been told it's easy to see me in a crowd. Good stuff!!!
"Nice pants" 4/13/2010

  • Name: 2009 Foursquare Yeung Snowboard Pants Men's
  • Pros:  Good rating, Good brand,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Average baggy fit, but a little long.

Experience:   I had a pair of these pants that I used last season then passed them on to my nephew who used them for almost all of this season. I usually buy XL but these pants are kind of long so I went with the large. I really liked them they just didn't fit like I wanted so I passed them on. They have a good tech rating and do the job for sure. Lots of pockets. He loves them and plans on using them next season too. Foursquare makes some good stuff.
"Great Big Bag holds it all!" 4/13/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Dakine Split Roller Large
  • Pros:  Can hold a lot of gear, Heavy duty, Built to last
  • Cons:  Huge and heavy when full, Doesn't always stand up,

Experience:   I have this bag and several other Dakine bags. I like them all and for good reason... they are built to last. This bag is big and can hold all my gear and then some. When fully packed, it's a beast. I've been dragging it up and down stairs and tossing it around all season and it still looks good. I have the black so it never looks dirty. My only complaint is that it doesn't always stand up on end, especially when it's not packed full. Not a big problem. Great big bag at a great price... pick one up, you will not be sorry.
"What a difference" 4/12/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Superfeet Footbeds F
  • Pros:  Comfort, Durable,
  • Cons:  High Price, Never on Sale,

Experience:   Wow... what a difference these made for me. I'm so happy with how they made my snow boots fit, I'm considering buying them for my work boots and skate shoes too. I've only tried the green so far. Believe the hype, they can make your riding day or any day a lot more comfortable.
"Solid choice..." 4/12/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Dragon DX Goggles
  • Pros:  Low profile, Classic design, Cheap replacement lenses

Experience:   I've been rockin the DX's for years now. The frame fits my medium size face perfect. They are very low profile and don't make you look like some sort of goof ball space bug. They are not the most expensive, which is nice too so you can get a few pairs. Replacement lenses are cheap with many options. If you looking for a solid goggle that's not too flashy and gets the job done... here you go.
"Exactly what you need" 4/11/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Dakine Cool Tool
  • Pros:  small, good quality, price

Experience:   This tool is exactly what you need to keep your gear nice and tight. Has what you need and nothing you don't. Fits inside your pocket, although I'd probably remove the bit since it's sharp. The only thing missing is a bottle opener... my last tool that I lost had one. Can't go wrong with Dakine... great company. For the price why even think about it. When your standing at the top of your run and you find something loose, you'll be glad you have it.
"Nice pants, but Big and Wide" 4/10/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Bonfire Arc
  • Pros:  Fabric seems strong... long lasting, Nice pinstripe,
  • Cons:  Heavy, Big, Very wide legs
  • Pant Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  XL
  • Fits Like:  XXL
  • Description:  Wide

Experience:   These pants are big, period. I'm not really I big guy, buy I usually buy XL pants anyhow... I just like the fit. These pants however are way too big for me to rock. I'm not sure sizing down would help me as the legs are rather wide too. If you like the big gangsta look, these are for you. Good style and nice pants for sure. Fabric seems tough, probably can take a beating. If they had smaller sizes in black, I'd probably try sizing down a little, unfortunately they don't. Still very nice pants and I'm sure you won't be disappointed if you pick up a pair.
