"Gascanns" 6/19/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Oakley Gascan Sunglasses
  • Pros:  Asian fit (actually fits really well), polarized gives a nice look to it, personally very stylish
  • Cons:  the sides are kind of annoying, scratches pretty easily, dirt easily noticable

Experience:   The sides of the glasses are really the only part of the glasses itself that I don't like. The way they are designed they tend to hurt my ears after a while of wearing them. As to the dirt that is really not any problem that needs worrying and the scratches are probably because you shouldn't drop the glasses anyways. Other than that I really recommend that any Asians getting this glasses should spring for an Asian Fit version and get it polarized. Overall a very good pair of glasses.
"oakley splice" 6/19/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Oakley Splice Goggles Jet Black/Black Iridium
  • Pros:  good vision, no fogging, feels comfortable

Experience:   These goggles aren't too big and I like the big field of vision that I get. It is very comfortable to wear and it doesn't fog up. I get the fog problem a lot with other goggles and from my face mask also, but not these.
"dakine gloves" 6/19/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Dakine Blazer Snowboard Gloves Men's
  • Pros:  warm, keeps snow out, cheap!

Experience:   These gloves are really thick and warm. They fit snug over all my fingers and my hands never feel cold. There are also straps by the wrist to tighten so snow can't get in. For the thickness, it is a little harder pick up small things, but it is easy enough to open and close pocket or jacket zippers, feel the ends and strap in your helmet, and holding a drink you may have buried in the snow to keep cold without any trouble. I don't think layering is necessary
"dakine torque driver" 5/24/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2012 Dakine Torque Driver Blue
  • Pros:  small, easy to carry around, many different bits
  • Cons:  rusts,

Experience:   this torque driver is very handy. one day, my friends whole binding came off and we were lucky to find the screws. this saved us from walking down the mountain or having him wait for me there as i go down to try and find screws from the rental shop. i always keep it in my pocket and it doesnt bother me at all since its really compact. the only problem is when you put the torque bit back into the little storage, water could get inside and have everything rust. thats not such a big deal since we have CLR though.
"2010-2011 model" 5/22/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2012 K2 Rant Ski Helmet
  • Pros:  very comfortable, chin strap is comfortable, easily adjustable
  • Cons:  careful with the 3.5mm cord,

Experience:   This helmet came with speakers at the ear and a volume control wheel along the 3.5mm cord. The helmet is very comfortable and is heavy duty. The cord and speakers are not so heavy duty. I've taken many, many falls from jumps and after that, I had to wiggle and mess around with the cord to get the audio into both ears. Just this past season, I let my friend borrow my helmet so he could try out some tricks. I told him to tuck in the cord to his jacket and keep it loose just in case it gets yanked around. At some point, he took off the helmet and the rest of the cord under the volume control was missing. We assume that it got ripped out when he took a really nasty fall. Overall I could hear the music very clearly without having to turn the volume all the way up and I can hear everyone around me at the same time.
"2010-2011 boots" 5/22/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2012 Flow The Ansr BOA Coiler Snowboard Boots Men's
  • Pros:  nice and stiff for the ankles, boa system,
  • Cons:  single boa,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  stiff
  • Shoe Size:  9.5
  • Boot Size:  9.5

Experience:   I really like these boots because they are nice and easy to put on and tighten with the boa system. I think one big problem about these boots is that it is a single boa system. When I tighten my boots all the way, everything fits in the boot snug. my foot and leg are comfortable, but there's a little room for movement at my ankles. When I carve toe side really hard, my ankles lift up a little bit. I think the dual boa system will help with my tightening problem in the ankle area. Even though I can feel my heel lifting up a bit, the stiffness of these boots still make me feel safe.
"trilogy" 5/22/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2012 Flow Trilogy Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  easy to install, easy to adjust straps in the beginning, fastest to strap in at the top
  • Cons:  cant sit on the floor to strap in,

Experience:   I have the 2010-2011 model of this binding. I really liked it because I didn't have to spend the time to manually tighten two different straps. As the past two seasons went on, I noticed that if my bindings were adjusted nice and tight, it was harder to kick my back foot into the binding. Also, if my bindings were adjusted nice and tight, I started to have trouble unlocking the back lever the more tired I got throughout the day. Sometimes, it felt harder to unlock them, so I had to kneel and unlock it. These aren't the best, but I like what Flow has.
