"Great board... for the money" 1/8/2013
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2010 Sierra Reverse Crew Snowboard
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Park,Powder
  • Pros:  Good Core technology, Good pop, Handles well
  • Cons:  Biaxial glass top sheet, Appearance, Never worth 599

Experience:   This board is a great board for the money. As mentioned above, I would give this board 5 stars, but only at the price it is being sold at. With a biaxial Glass topsheet that has had some peeling and chipping issues in the past and not to mention that biaxial is not what most Burton boards use even though these boards were supposedly made by Burton, I do have some concerns with the long term durability of the board as I am an advanced rider and ride hard. With that being said I purchased this board knowing all these things and couldn't be happier with my decision under the circumstances. You will not find a better brand new board for the money anywhere. It's been a great board so far... lets see how it holds up.
"Sweet Jacket at an unbeatable price..." 1/8/2013

  • Name: 2008 Special Blend Snow Patrol Snowboard Jacket
  • Pros:  Warm and stylish, Quality Materials, Breathable
  • Cons:  Slightly bulky,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  XL
  • Description:  Slightly bagg and cut long...

Experience:   Just picked this jacket up for a snowmobile/snowboarding backcountry trip in Montana and let me just say I couldn't be happier. I was slightly hesitant at first because I wasn't so sure about the style, but after wearing this jacket and seeing it in person, this jacket is rad. Top quality materials and stitch work throughout and more than enough pockets for everything you might want to bring along. I have a Foursquare technical shell I wear on mild days and this Jacket for the colder days or the days that I'm sledding and shredding in the backcountry. Keep in mind that it is a slightly larger cut than most jackets and if you are into a lot of freestyle you may also want to consider a technical shell as well as it is on the bulkier side. With that being said, this jacket is exactly what I was looking for and met all of my requirements. FIVE STAR QUALITY for sure.
"Great all around pant." 1/3/2013

  • Name: 2011 Foursquare Q Snowboard Pants
  • Pros:  Warm, Comfy, Fit
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Slightly baggy... Just the way I like it...

Experience:   These pants offer a good mix of comfort, waterproofing, breathability and style. I have found that pants and Jackets that go above 10,000k breathability tend to not hold the heat quite as well. These ones are a perfect set up for the colder winter riding in canada with a base layer and a mid layer and in warmer conditions or spring riding, just a base layer will do just fine. These are my go to pants and even though I have a few other pairs the tend to stay in the closet. You won't be Disappointed.
"Impressed" 1/3/2013

  • Name: 2013 Burton Moto Snowboard Boots
  • Pros:  Well Constructed, Very Light, Easy lace up and take off
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  soft
  • Shoe Size:  10.5
  • Boot Size:  11

Experience:   I recently picked up a pair and have so far been quite impressed. They are well constructed, amazingly light (50% lighter than my forum boots) Warm, and nice looking. They have ample heelside support, but are quite soft toe side. I bought these boots as a crossover snowmobiling boot, as I often ride the backcountry in Montana and British Columbia and was looking for these qualitys as stiff boots aren't quite as nice on the sled. When I am in the backcountry riding the sled as a poor mans helicopter, dropping big hits and slayin' pow, these are my go to boot... at a resort I would tend to lean towards something slightly stiffer, but thats just personal preference. These boots offer excellent bang for your buck and look awesome. I would recommend these to anyone who likes a softer more playful boot, likes the style and doesn't want to break the bank... Say what you like about Burton, but at the end of the day no one offers you more boot for your buck. WINNING
