• Name: 2008 Look PX Ti Lifter
• Pros:  The Look PX 12 Ti is the simplest binding on the market. From an engineering standpoint, the Look PX 12 Ti has less chances for something to fail. The toe piece is lightweight and offers release in all directions. The famed Look lever arm heel (PX) is time tested. It offers the most vertical elasticity, so there is less chances of a vertical pre-release.
• Cons:  When putting the boot on after a crash, it is easy not to properly align the heel of the boot with the binding.

Experience:   I have my Look PX 12 Ti bindings mounted on a pair of Nordica Dobermann GSR race skis. This is the first pair of bindings that I do not have to tighten more than 10 to hold me in. I have the utmost confidence that these bindings will hold me in when it needs to and release me when it needs to.

• Name: 2005 Nordica Doberman W.C. 150
• Pros:  The Dobie WC150 is the most powerful boot made. It is made to fit close. The liner uses a cork and oil mixture that form fits to the foot inside. The liner will last almost forever since it doesn't pack out.
• Cons:  This boot is made to be custom fit. My boots took hours of grinding and stretching to get the fit right. Finding a custom footbed to work inside the liner was a challenge. The footbed has to be a lower volume type to fit inside or it will get crushed.

Experience:   For the best fit, see a custom bootfitter.

• Name: 2008 Fischer RX 6 Fire System
• Pros:  The RX 6 Fire offers good grip at all but the highest speeds. It is very light and lively. I feel comfortable about taking the RX 6 Fire in a mogul field. The Fischer/Tyrolia FS10 binding system is very dependable.
• Cons:  Aggressive advanced skiers on a budget should consider buying a higher end ski other than the RX 6 Fire. This ski lacks the top end speed that higher end skis offer. A Fischer RX 8 Fire would suit that purpose.

Experience:   The kiwi green is awesome looking!
