"They're Huge!!" 12/15/2008
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Von Zipper Feenom
  • Pros:  they're huge, so you'll never have to worry about your vision being too narrow.
  • Cons:  not great for overcast days

Experience:   A little too big for me but I love the wide vision. Definitely great for anyone who has a bigger face.
"Sat-er-nia" 10/12/2009
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Capita Saturnia Womens
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Butters,Groomed,Jibs,Jumps,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  poppy, soft, durable, great brand
  • Cons:  not good in powder,

Experience:   *For the 2009 model* I have to thank Sierra for this awesome board! Probably one of the softest boards I've used in a while. This board is perfect for jibbing and park. I used this on a couple of small boxes and small jumps and it held up great. If you're looking for a nice poppy soft board, this is perfect. It also holds up great on groomers, but not so much on powder. And it felt a little chattery when I was riding at higher speeds. This board is perfect for anyone who's looking to have fun in the park and groomers. And for the longest time I thought it was pronounced Sat-UR-nia, not Sat-er-nia.
"Good, but just not for me" 12/18/2008
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Ride DVA Womens
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Boot hold, Durable, Good construction quality
  • Cons:  Difficult in & out, Poor adjustability
  • Fit:  fits fine

Experience:   Good bindings, just not what I expected. Took them out on my first day and they responded well. There were times where my back foot was not feeling comfortable though. Everything was fine strapping in, but trying to unstrap was difficult. I had a hard time taking my boot out because it felt like it was stuck. The straps were good, they stayed on right, but the ratchet wasn't that great. I had to put a lot of force just to loosen the ratchet. It's a good binding, but just takes some time getting used to it.
"Good boot for starting out" 10/16/2008
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Vans Mantra Womens
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Good quality, Warm, Easy in & out, Well known brand
  • Cons:  Low quality
  • Fit:  average

Experience:   Got this boot when I first started, and it was pretty comfortable. It's great for beginner boots, although, they only lasted me a season. They packed down pretty fast so I ended up getting new boots. I'd recommend them if you're starting out and you don't think you'll be going up much.
"Everybody wants a twin" 8/31/2008
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Burton GTwin Womens
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Boxes,Groomers,Jumps,Rails
  • Pros:  Durable, lightweight, Stable at high speeds, Strong edgehold, Great value

Experience:   For any girl who's looking for a good park/ jib board, this is perfect. It's great for doing all kinds of jumps and tricks, and it's still stiff enough to carve in some powder and groomes. I definitely recommend this anyone who wants to learn and challenge themselves. It's super light, so you won't feel a heavy drag and you move around quick and easy. The graphics are sick, definitely not your typical girly floral design. It good enough to stand out as one of the boys, and will probably make most of them jealous.
"Oh It's Love" 10/12/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Coal Frena
  • Pros:  warm, thick,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  great fit, little big,

Experience:   Props to Johan for these Coal beanies!! I'm in love with these! I owned some Coal stuff from 2 or 3 years ago, and they were great, but the fit was a little too snug for my taste. These new Frena beanies fit perfect. I like my beanies a little big in the fit, so they don't squeeze my head too much. These a great if you like to sag your beanies in the back too. Get these if you want something nice and warm for your noggin.
"Love Nikita!" 4/29/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Nikita Merope Short Sleeve Womens
  • Pros:  At 50% off this shirt is great! Funky style from Nikita as usual. My friends saw this shirt and thought it was pretty cool. Runs true to size, so it's not too small and not too big, although I would like it a little bigger. It's also a little longer than most shirts, so if you like a somewhat longer shirt with a cool design, get this shirt!

"Good boots" 4/11/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 32 Lock Womens
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Heel hold, Comfortable, Easy lacing, Good quality, Warm, Breathable, Easy in & out, Well known brand
  • Fit:  average

Experience:   Got this after my Salomons started causing me problems. On my first day riding it, it took some adjusting to. I've never used boa's before, so I wasn't sure how much I should tighten them and what not. Also had problems with being too tight sometimes, but I finally figured out my sweet spot. These are great boots though, midflex so good for riding anything. So far I don't have problems with heel lift or any kind of pain. The fit is good for my average sized foot. I think the only problem I had was breaking it in the first time riding it. Otherwise, great boot overall. If you're looking for a good boa boot, I would consider this.

  • Name: 2007 Burton Reversible Beanie
  • Pros:  It's reversible, so it's basically two beanies in one. Runs a little bigger than most beanies so no worries about it being too snug. i have the green/blue one, so you can wear either color depending on your mood. it keeps me warm even on the coldest and snowiest days. definitely one of the most comfortable beanies I've ever worn.

Experience:   Won this from sierra! Thanks guys!
"My favorite Jacket" 2/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Vans Blanchett Womens
  • Pros:  Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof
  • Description:  WEATHER: Spring Day, Blue Bird Powder Day, Cloudy and Cold, Cold and Blustery Day, Snow and Rain Mixed, CHEST: Feels too big, BODY: Feels too long, INSEAM: Feels true to length,

Experience:   This is my favorite jacket of all the jackets I've ever worn. The fit is a little bigger than most outerwear, so it might be too baggy for most people and the length is also a little longer than most womens jackets. The blanchett comes with tons of pockets, including audio, goggle (with goggle wipe), and front pockets. It comes with a powder skirt and you can also button it to your pants. The hood is removable, so if you feel like it's in your way, you can easily unzip it. My favorite feature is the pass holder on the outside of the zipper, so you don't have to bother removing your glove to show your pass. It's great for cold weather with the insulation, or warm weather where you can open the pit vents. This is an awesome jacket with all kinds of little features that you can use for any day on the slopes.
"Great Helmet" 2/2/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Smith Holt Audio Series
  • Pros:  Fits great, very comfortable, and not heavy on my head. Does a great job of keeping my head warm as well. Also a nice slimmer fit compared to the protect helmet I used to have. Mine also came with summer padding, so you can use it for warmer days or out side of snowboarding.

Experience:
"Flashy... but that's about it" 1/17/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Grenade Flashback Glove
  • Pros:  great for warmer days
  • Cons:  soak up water like a sponge, don't keep you warm if it's cold

Experience:   I love the mismatch checker and polka dot design. great for spring riding when things are extremely warm
"They work" 1/17/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 RED Impact Shorts Womens
  • Pros:  Help protect your bottom from hard impacts
  • Cons:  don't stay in place very well

Experience:   Great for people who are falling on their bum, like me. Help me save some bruising, The little padded protector is nice, but there are probably products out there that offer more protection. I just wish they didn't move around so much. If I got a size smaller they would probably stay in place better.
"Saved my life!!" 1/17/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Pro-Tec Descent
  • Pros:  I actually had the Tara Dakides version of this helmet, but they're the exact same thing. Got for protection of course, and it did keep me warm most times. The audio kit works great with this helmet too. I never had a problem with my goggles coming off thanks to the nifty goggle hook in the back of the helmet.
  • Cons:  A little on the heavy side, and bulky looking. The chin guard thing started coming apart because it kept getting stuck to the velcro on my jacket. Felt a little chilly on the super cold days.

Experience:   Best thing about this is it saved my life. I was riding one day and had a major crash, and ended up breaking the helmet. Luckily I made it out with no injuries at all, thanks to this helmet!
"We live for SS" 12/22/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Sierra We Live To Ride Short Sleeve
  • Pros:  sick design, comfortable

Experience:   One of my favorite shirts ever. If you're a Sierra fan, you have to get this shirt. Spread the word about the greatest snowboard store ever! This shirt is comfortable and durable, and its' designed by one of our very own members!
"Support B4BC!" 12/22/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Sierra Tree T-Shirt Women's
  • Pros:  Sick design
  • Cons:  really see through, so might need to wear something underneath

Experience:   Got this way back in the day, and its' an awesome shirt! I just wish it wasn't so see through. But the design is sick, and it's a SS shirt, so nothing else matters!
"Gotta Represent!" 12/22/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Sierra Die cut Sticker
  • Pros:  Love the die cut, one of the best ways to rep the best store around!
  • Cons:  needs other colors, can't really rock this on a white board.

Experience:
"Sick Hoodie" 12/22/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Nikita IDA Zip Rev. Women's
  • Pros:  Great graphics, reversible
  • Cons:  fades after wash, shrinkage

Experience:   Another sick product from Nikita. It's reversible, so you have two choices how to wear it, depending on your mood. I wore for some spring riding, and it wasn't too bad. Only down side is it started to fade after a couple washes, but still a great hoodie.
"One of my Favs" 12/22/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Nikita Laura T-Shirt Womens
  • Pros:  comfortable, doesn't shrink after wash, made of good material

Experience:   Love this shirt, super comfy and nice and loose. I love the print is simple, yet effective. Great shirt for any Nikita lovers.
"Perfection " 12/8/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Union Milan
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Adjustability, Easy in & out, Boot hold, Durable, Good construction quality, Lightweight, Comfortable, Well known brand, Popular model, Easy installation
  • Fit:  fits fine

Experience:   The Milans are probably the best thing to ever to happen to me in snowboarding. They're responsive and great for any style of riding. My boot just slips right in, and I've never had a probably taking them out. The straps fit great and hold your boot in tightly. The ratchets crank in smoothly and never slip. The padding is great, and overall, they are extremely comfortable. Whenever I'm riding, it feels like they're not even there, and everything responds so smoothly. Definitely a great binding overall.
"Great Socks" 12/8/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Burton Fiesta Womens
  • Pros:  They look great, and on top of that they feel great. They're warm, comfortable, and never itchy. Plus, they look great.
  • Cons:  They're a little snug, but not a problem.

Experience:
"Just for Beginners" 1/31/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Salomon Lotus Womens
  • Pros:  Got this as my first board when I started out, and it was a match made in heaven. The flex keeps you at a low speed and will help you get your turns down. It's light and easy to maneuver for any girl. A great board to learn on if it's your first time out on the slopes and it will definitely help you progress from beginner to intermediate runs. Plus it's flexible enough for beginner park stuff.
  • Cons:  If you think you're going to progress quickly, you might outgrow this board pretty fast. And not great for powder.

Experience:
"It's Huge!" 1/16/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Burton Cargo Bag
  • Pros:  The biggest pro about this bag is it's giant size! When they say this bag is big, they seriously mean it. The bag comes with tons of features, like side pockets for your boots and tons of mini pockets for anything else. The different compartments will help keep you organized and find a perfect spot for everything. The main pocket is big enough to fit everything you have. This bag is great for traveling or just for organization.
  • Cons:  Some people might not like the huge size of the bag, and it can get heavy if you put all your things in it.

Experience:   I have the mojave plaid and it's such a great bag. We're always using it on our weekend snow trips.
"Sweet and Cheap" 1/9/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Salomon Ivy Womens
  • Pros:  I loved these boots ever since I first put my foot in them! They are super comfy and light. They flex is great for any kind of riding, they're not too stiff or not too flexible. And the speed lace system is great, it tightens everything to what you prefer quick and easy.
  • Cons:  The lacing did come loose one time, and there were times where I tightened it a little too much and it started getting uncomfortable.

Experience:   I recommend these boots to anyone. They're nice and slim and they fit great with Salomon bindings.
"An Awesome Freeride Board" 1/9/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Palmer Liberty Carbon Womens
  • Pros:  This board will definitely keep you stable at fast speeds and is perfect on powder or groomed runs. This board is fun and fast for anyone who rides it.
  • Cons:  It can be too stiff, and not really meant for most boxes and jibs.

Experience:   As a beginner rider moving towards intermediate, I was a bit scared about riding this board. After hearing how fast and stiff it was, I wasn't sure if I could handle it. But after my first day riding it, I have no regrets at all. They don't make this board anymore, so if you happen to come across it somehow, I say get it!
