"Oakley Oil Rig Sun Glasses" 11/24/2011
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2011 Oakley Oil Rig Sunglasses
  • Pros:  Look Great, Block out tons of sun,
  • Cons:  Fit a little small on my head,

Experience:   I love these glasses and have had them for about a year now, not only do they look great but they function great by blocking all the sun out of your eyes. They did fit a little small on my head but my head is larger, so if you have a 'normal' sized head you should have no issue. Also, keep the glasses case, it will protect the lens and doubles as a claner, replacement lens costs are high and nobody wants scratched lenses anyways!
"My Favorite Stomp Pad Yet" 12/10/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Dakine Modular Mat Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  Grips Your Boot, Looks Nice,

Experience:   Getting off the hills at the local resort is usually difficult with new people laying everywhere and getting in your way, but with this stomp pad it's almost like you still have your foot in the binding. It's the best stomp pad I've used yet and makes it very easy to navigate while your back foot is out of the binding. If you're looking for a good stomp pad to last you a couple of years, this is the one that you're looking for!
"Great Binding" 12/9/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Mission Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Easy Adjustability, Forgiving,
  • Cons:  No Skyback,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   I had these on both a Burton Baron and a Lib Tech Skunk Ape. I found that they flexed very well, and were a good beginner-intermediate binding, and could fit some higher class riders. The only major difference between the 09 and '10 versions are the capstrap. If money is tight I would suggest the '09 version, it will save you some money and the capstrap isn't a huge deal. I would recommend these for beginners to intermediate riders looking to ride the whole mountain!
"Decent Stomp Pad" 12/3/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2012 Burton Medium Spike Mat
  • Pros:  Clear, doesn't stand out, sticks up high for better grip,
  • Cons:  not the best traction,

Experience:   My brother has this stomp pad on his board and we often switch back and forth every time down the hill (he likes the BTX), I find this stomp pad a little more slippery than my Dakine is, but it still works decent, just make sure to get all the snow off of it when you're on the lift or else your foot will slide off.
"Oakley A-Frmaes" 12/3/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Oakley A Frame Goggles
  • Pros:  Won't fog, Comfortable during long days on the mountain.,
  • Cons:  I found some small imperfections in new lenses,

Experience:   Last year I got my first pair of Oakley's after hearing about how much my brother loved his Crowbars. I decided to pick up a set of used A-Frame's, I love them, they don't fog at all, they don't create a discomfort after long days or riding and they look great. One thing that I would be careful of is scratching the lenses. When I got a replacement lens there were already small but barely noticeable imperfections, on my original lenses there are some small scratches even though the goggles have been kept in the case all their life. Overall, I would say go for these goggles if you are looking for a middle priced goggle that is well worth the money. Between buying the goggles and the replacement lenses, these goggles were worth every penny and I would recommend them to anyone from the casual rider to the die-hard snowboarder.
"Favorite Mitt Ever" 3/7/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2011 Dakine Scout Snowboard Mitts Men's
  • Pros:  Very Warm, Clean Look, Very Dry
  • Cons:  A Little Too Big,

Experience:   These mittens are awesome. They keep my hands dry and warm. They look great with my gear or at least in my opinion, they also come with an additional liner that helps to keep your hands warm. I would recommend these gloves to anyone looking for mittens instead of gloves!
"Nice and Warm/Not too thick" 3/7/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Buffer Snowboard Socks
  • Pros:  Warm, Neat Design,
  • Cons:  Too small,
  • Fit:  Too small
  • My Size:  XL
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  They are a little small but not as thick as normal thermal socks.

Experience:   These socks are pretty nice. They didn't really fit my feet as expected, but this may be because I have a pretty wide foot. They were not as thick as most thermal socks are but they still kept me feet just about as warm as the other socks, without crushing my foot within my boot. I would recommend these socks to just about anyone but if you have a wide foot, I would recommend going a size larger than you usually wear.
"New headphones!" 3/7/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2009 Skullcandy Smokin Buds Earbuds
  • Pros:  Nice Bass, Good look to them, Sound Clarity
  • Cons:  Don't fit well under helmet.,

Experience:   I got these as new headphones and handed the old ones down to my brother. They work and sound great. My only complaint is that with my helmet on, the headphones tend to get pushed into my ears more than I would like, which makes them a little uncomfortable. Overall great headphones but maybe not the best riding headphones.
"Great Protection" 3/6/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2009 Red Trace Snowboard Helmet Men's
  • Pros:  Looks Great, Great Protection, Warm
  • Cons:  Strap gets stuck to my jacket.,

Experience:   This helmet is excellent. It keeps my head warm and safe. The other day I caught my healside edge and without this helmet I was almost guaranteed a concussion but thanks to this helmet I barely felt a thing, and I was warm.

"Nice Gloves, Not Very Warm" 3/6/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Pipe Snowboard Gloves Women's
  • Pros:  Look Nice, Good Padding,
  • Cons:  Not Warm,

Experience:   These gloves are very nice looking and have great padding. Although I realize these gloves are not designed to be very warm like other gloves but they are almost like not wearing any gloves at all. If wearing on a nice sunny and warm day I would definitely recommend these gloves.
"Nice, Light and Warm" 3/6/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Burton 3/2 Snowboard Jacket
  • Pros:  Light, Warm, Stylish
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  XL
  • Fits Like:  XL
  • Description:  Nice and loose.

Experience:   I was able to demo my brother's jacket the past week. At first I thought the jacket was way too light to be warm and keep me dry. Boy, was I wrong, this jacket was very warm and kept me very dry. This jacket alone with push me towards a Burton jacket when I am looking for another for sure!
"Nice Glove" 3/5/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Gore Tex Under Gloves
  • Pros:  Warm, Dry,
  • Cons:  Ripped,

Experience:   I had these gloves and loved them, unfortunately I let my brother use them and they ripped after a few hours. The index finger almost came completely off. Before they ripped they were very warm and kept my hands nice and dry. If they stayed in one piece I would definitely recommend to anyone.
"Not the best" 3/5/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2006 Dakine Vapor Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  Looks Cool,
  • Cons:  Slippery, Can't Skate On Board,

Experience:   I needed a stomp pad quickly when my old one got loose off my powder board. I saw this one in the lodge and thought it looked cool but was curious about how it would be with grip once i got to the top of the mountain. As I got off the lift, my foot slipped right off almost as if I didn't have a stomp pad at all. I wouldn't recommend this stomp pad because it is too slippery and not worth the money at all.
"Great Reponsive Bindings" 3/5/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Cartel Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  Very Responsive, Comfortable, Look Nice
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I got to use these for a day on my buddies board. I got to use them all mountain and a little in the park. The skyback on these were great compared to what were on my current missions. The overall feedback was much nicer than the missions also, making it a little easier for me to go quicker down steep hills and also making it easier to stomp some larger kickers and table tops. I would recommend these bindings to anyone that is looking to progress in the park or just overall snowboarding.
"Nice Bandana" 3/4/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Judot Bandana Men's
  • Pros:  Looks Nice, Blocks Wind,
  • Cons:  Not very thick,

Experience:   Me and my brother both have this bandana. It looks nice and blocks the wind but it's not really thick enough to keep anything overly warm. Still looks good and would recommend to anyone looking for a classy bandana.
"My Favorite Wallet Yet" 3/4/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Douglas Wallet
  • Pros:  Plenty of Space, Sleek Look,

Experience:   I had been looking for a wallet and preferably wanted a single fold. My girlfriend bought this for me for my birthday and I have never been more happy. There's plenty of space for gift cards and credit cards, I have a total of about 10 and I could easily fit more, this isn't counting my licenses. Also there are separate pockets in the cash section to either separate big bills from little or to maybe separate checks from dollars. I would recommend this wallet to anyone looking for a new one or a replacement!
"Girlfriend's Board" 3/1/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (3) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Feather Snowboard Women's
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Use:  Groomed,Low Speeds
  • Pros:  starter board, soft,

Experience:   My girlfiend used this as her first board and was able to learn easily. It was a soft board making it very forgiveable, I wouldn't have wanted her to learn on any other board with any other aspects.
"Decent Board" 3/1/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Blunt Snowboard Boy's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  High Speeds,Off Trail,Park,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Decent Pop,
  • Cons:  Very Stiff,

Experience:   My brother owns one and we switched, when I rode it, I really didn't mind it, it didn't have the pop that my skunk ape had but it did have some stiffness that was nice when going down groomers, it made it a little more difficult to ride on kickers and tabletops but it wasn't unbearable.
"Bullet Multi-Tool" 12/21/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Burton Bullet Tool
  • Pros:  Small/Takes up little space, includes everything you'll need for snowboarding,
  • Cons:  Kind of difficult to use ratcheting feature,

Experience:   I got this a couple seasons ago and it really comes in handy, just in case there's an issues with bindings, screws come loose or anything. I would recommend this to go in your spare parts box when you go to the mountain!
"Terrific Goggles" 3/3/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Oakley Crowbar
  • Pros:  No Fogging, Great Looks, Strap is rubber coated so it doesn't slip

Experience:   My brother has these goggles so I was able to use them for a day. I realized a lot of people checking them out at the hil also, they didn't fog once all day. Another nice thing is the rubberized strap, that makes sure they won't slip off your helmet. I have no complaints about these goggles, except that people kept looking at me because of their sweet and sleek look.
"My Favorite Headphones" 3/3/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Skullcandy Full Metal Jacket Earbuds w/ Mic
  • Pros:  Clear Sound, Decent Bass,
  • Cons:  Can't find an insert to fit my ear.,

Experience:   These headphones are great, I use them from everything to snowboarding alone, to watching movies on my laptop. They have decent bass response with high quality treble sound. Sometimes they crack apart but are easy to put back together and still work fine. These are definitely a step up from the INK'D series that wouldn't last a quarter the time that these have lasted.
"Low Quality" 3/3/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Skullcandy Ink'd Earbuds
  • Pros:  Decent Sound,
  • Cons:  Little Bass, Don't last long,

Experience:   My brother and I have both had a pair of these, and neither of them have lasted longer than two months. This was without using them while boarding, so I do not think they would make it much longer while boarding.
"Brother's School Bad" 3/2/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Metalhead Pack SS
  • Pros:  Looks Great, Comfortable,
  • Cons:  Not a ton of space,

Experience:   My brother was looking for a bag for school and I found this bag with a great price. He loved the look and bought it, his number one complaint was that there wasn't a ton of space for all of his books, but it worked out fine because he didn't need to ever carry all books at once.
"Girlfriend's Goggles" 3/2/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2010 Electric EG1S Snowboard Goggles Gloss Black/Brone Lens
  • Pros:  Don't Fog, Good Vision, Look Great
  • Cons:  A Little Big,

Experience:   My girlfriend wears these, no only do they look great, but she claims that they don't fog and she can see greatly with them on. The one part that she claims to not like is that they do cover quite a bit of her face, which sometimes tends to bother her.
"Pretty Nice" 3/2/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Custom Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds
  • Pros:  Flex, Pop,
  • Cons:  Carving,

Experience:   Me and my buddy swapped out boards and I got to ride his custom. I had switched from my Skunk Ape and the custom seemed to have some pretty close flex and pop, but i wasn't able to carve as easily, I had much more trouble going down an icy groomed run, and almost felt as if I was slipping the whole way. Other than that, the board was very stable under high speeds and I felt very comfortable with it.
"Girlfriend's Boots" 3/1/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Mint Snowboard Boots Women's
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Easy to tie,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  11
  • Boot Size:  11

Experience:   My girlfriend used these as her first boots, she claims that they are stiff enough to ride in while being comfortable enough to not bother her during a day of full riding. She was also able to easily tighten these boots without having to worry about them getting lose during any time of the day.
"Girlfriend's Bindings" 3/1/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (3) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Lexa Snowboard Bindings Women's
