"Most efficient tool I've ever used" 1/3/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Burton Bullet Tool
  • Pros:  Small, fits in your pocket, lightweight, efficient, serves many uses, durable.
  • Cons:  A bit pricey

Experience:   Only tool I ever use with my equipment and I carry it with me EVERYWHERE when I ride. Can't leave to the mountain without it!
"Union Data" 12/29/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Union Data
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Adjustability, Easy in & out, Boot hold, Durable, Good construction quality, Lightweight, Comfortable, Well known brand
  • Cons:  Tricky instillation
  • Fit:  fits fine

Experience:   Overall a great binding and I'd definitely recommend them to someone else looking for a pair of bindings. Right at the get-go I felt more secure in them (compared to my Cartels and Missions), and I was just sitting down! The response on them is great as well. Having these paired with my Park Rocker is great because not only do they actually MATCH something finally (these come in a really off color compared to most bindings), the board did everything I told it to. Only flaws I have with them are that the toe caps slip up, so you just have to use them as over-the-top straps. Still felt really secure after that. Also, they left brownish-orange marks from rubbing on my brand new white Hails all day! Looks like it'll all come off easily, so whatever. Not too bad! The release was also smooth actually having them on as opposed to them unmounted and me just messing around with them. The highback wasn't too high or too short. So yeah, GREAT binding. Probably going to be my permanent bindings on my Park Rocker. They have a tricky installation because there are more screws involved compared to other bindings and fine adjusting them took me awhile to do. Still, after it's done, it's still a great binding.
"Best boot I've ever put my foot in!" 12/29/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Burton Hail
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Pros:  Heel hold, Comfortable, Easy lacing, Durable, Traction, Good quality, Warm, Breathable, Waterproofing, Well known brand, Popular model
  • Cons:  Difficult in & out
  • Fit:  average

Experience:   Burton Hails are AMAZING boots! SO comfy and they have a great flex. Still have to pack them out though because they're still smothering my feet just a bit. Still though, not a problem for me because I know that'll be fixed here soon. Thanks Matteo! These boots were truly meant for me from the beginning. The only reason I stated that they were difficult in & out was because the ankle supports built into the boots themselves TRULY work to stop heel lift. Even after completely unlacing the boots, the supports still try to keep your foot in the boot.
"Signal Park Rocker" 12/29/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Signal Park Rocker
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Carving,Groomers,Jumps,Powder,Rails
  • Pros:  Durable, lightweight, Easy to carve, poppy, Stable at high speeds, Strong edgehold, Great value

Experience:   SIGNAL PARK ROCKER is DEFINITELY worth the price. The board itself is so much more responsive than any other board I have ridden and presses are REALLY easy to do on it. Only think I could spot is that's it's not as fast as my other boards, but it's not really supposed to, so it's not really a fault with the board. Riding in the park with it was great. Seemed like it took no effort to get on boxes and whatnot because of the lifted nose/tail. Spinning (on flat land and boxes) was really easy because of the "flat spot" between the bindings. Riding in powder also took NO effort at all. The nose NEVER dug into the snow and turning was really easy. All in all: probably the most fun I've had on a snowboard!
