"Functional" 12/1/2010

  • Name: 2010 Dragon DX Goggles
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Inexpensive, Look good
  • Cons:  Not Spherical,

Experience:   These goggles are really solid basic goggles, they are inexpensive, which makes them good value. They are not Spherical type and as such the field of vision is limited, they still work well. I had no issue with fogging up, so they do the job as described.
"For the wife" 12/1/2010

  • Name: 2010 Sierra V Spot Snowboard
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Great ride, Quality build, Great design, Good flex when broken in
  • Cons:  Bit stiff to start with,

Experience:   I got this board for my wifes birthday, she loved it. Only having riden cambered boards she said after riding it, there was no hint of any edge catching. She said it was a little bit stiff to start with, but loosened up after a day or so. Above all she loves the design and loves the board, which makes me happy.
"Great Skis" 12/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 K2 Apache Xplorer w/ MX 12
  • Pros:  Solid Performance, Great Bindings, Look Good
  • Cons:  Heavy,

Experience:   These Ski's are excellent, they handle most terain types with ease. They are however a little bit on the heavy side, but the extra weight helps to smash through the crud. They handle the fast stuff with ease, although they require much more effort, the effort is worthwhile. I can give them a big thumbs up, I take them out on those kinds of day's when I leave the snowboard behind, perfect for me when the snowboard riding is not.
"Cheap protection" 11/5/2010

  • Name: 2009 RED Youth Impact Wrist Guard
  • Pros:  Light weight, strong,
  • Cons:  can be hard to get on,

Experience:   I got these for my children, who were taking up snowboarding for the first time. No broken wrists, so they do the job. I did find them a little bit hard to get on and off. I would suggest getting the glove with the wrist guard built in, rather then this type. This would make it a lot easier, to get on and off, for children.
"Missions, on a mission" 10/31/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Mission Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  Price, Comfortable, Light Weight
  • Cons:  Very Basic, Flexible,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   This is my first go at EST bindings, I had some trouble in getting them tight enough, as they keeped shifting on the board. Once I got that sorted, it was plain sailing from that point on. They are fairly light weight in the construction department, you get a medium feel from these bindings, which is alright. Overall not too bad, especially for the price.
"Easy and Easy Off" 10/27/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Flow NXT AT
  • Pros:  Easy to strap up, Solid Feel,
  • Cons:  Heavy,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   After watching all those other guys siting around straping up, I thought there must be a better solution. There was and now I go with the flow, the flow NXT AT. It took some time to set these up, but once set up it was easy street from then onwards. I used these for the whole season, no problems what so ever. I did couple them with a flow boot, slighlty different toe shape (Flater). Overall excellent, highly recommended.
"Top Ride, Nice Price" 10/27/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Sierra Crew Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds
  • Pros:  Excellent Feel, Excellent Control, Top Quality
  • Cons:  Little Stiff to start with,

Experience:   I was a little bit sceptical buying a shop brand board. The first time I rode this board I knew I liked it. I seen another guy riding the same board and he said it was awesome as well. So there's two thumbs ups. Buy it, now!
"One each for my children" 10/3/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Feelgood Smalls V-Rocker Youth
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Off Trail,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Inexpensive, Rides well,

Experience:   I bought two of these for children to learn on, the snowboard instructor told me that reverse camber is not the easiest board to learn on. My fingers were crossed and by the end of the week the children could carve like there was no tomorrow. I would say this board works, for both beginers and experienced youth.
"My First Reverse Camber Board" 10/3/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Joystick
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Off Trail,Powder,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Rides Well, No Edge Catching, Stiff enough to remain in control
  • Cons:  Harder to intiate turns,

Experience:   This was my first go at a reverse camber board, it took a little bit to get used to it. It was harder to make turns and I felt a little uneasy during the high speed runs along the flats, as I never seemed to get a feel for the edge. This all changed once I got used to riding it, yes you have to work harder to turn and it does feel a little different to ride, but I can tell you after two weeks of riding not even a hint of edge catching. Overall an excellent board to ride, but I wouldnt recommend for a beginer.
"Top Helmet" 5/31/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 RED Hi-Fi Audex Subwoofer
  • Pros:  Comfi, Looks Great, Sounds Great

Experience:   I got this helmet and loved it straight out of the box. The size fitted well and the padding is more then adequate. The speakers are excellent. There is a built subwoofer and seperate battery pack. It is not essential to have the subwoofer operating but is does add to the overall affect. Overall I would give this helmet a top rating for looks, comfort and functionality.
"Plenty of Stickers " 5/21/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Forum First Chair 24Pk
  • Pros:  Nice Caption, Heaps, Cheap $1

Experience:   I got these babys when they were only a dollar, Ive been handing these out to my friends, they love them. What can I say other then get these stickers with next order.
"Really Big Bag" 5/8/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Dakine Split Roller Large
  • Pros:  Big, Split so easy to get to stuff, Excellent Quality
  • Cons:  Its that big, I can take everything.,

Experience:   This luggage is well made, well designed and of excellent quality. The convenience of the split design, allows easy access to all your luggage, without digging through everything and messing it up. I liked it so much I bought two.
"Blaster Tool" 5/3/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Dakine Mega Blaster Snowboard Tool
  • Pros:  Very Handy, Easy to Carry, Has all the bits needed
  • Cons:  Very Delicate , Bit Fiddley ,

Experience:   Although the concept of this tool is good, the execution is poor. The tool is a little bit problematic to use, it has all the bits, but is a bit small for bigger hands. The handle starts to split if any force is exerted on it. Overall it does the job, but just barely.

to avoid the handle problem dont rely on the handle too much... if that makes sense.. like try using the top half were it connects with the body.

"Good Fit Good Price" 4/28/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Profile
  • Pros:  Fit well, Keeps hands warm, Price is right
  • Cons:  Very basic,

Experience:   This glove is a good fit, quality is good, although Im sure its made for a certain price point, being a starter glove. Keeps my hands warm and for the price, how can you go wrong.
"Great Helmet" 4/28/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Red Pure Womens
  • Pros:  Excellent Fit, Excellent Value for Money, Groovy Colour
  • Cons:  Almost no vents,

Experience:   I got this helmet for my wife, she had trouble getting a helmet to fit, this one is great. She likes the look, colour and feel of the helmet. The only downside is the lack of vents, she did say it can be a little hot to wear. Otherwise for the price its a good buy.
"Von Zipper Sizzles" 4/5/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Von Zipper Sizzle
  • Pros:  Good Quality, Looks Great,
  • Cons:  Fits a Small Face,

Experience:   These Goggles are great, price is right, but the size suits a narrow face. All in all, a quality product.
"Bonfire Arc" 4/5/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Bonfire Arc
  • Pros:  Warmth, Colour, Quality
  • Cons:  Needs More Pockets,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Not too big or small, just right.

Experience:   This is an excellent jacket, although the size was bigger then I thought. I bought the XL first, way too big, so I got the L, it fits just right. I normally take an XL in stuff, so this may be the exception.
