- Name: 2007 Burton Cartel
- Pros: Light and Responsive, Comfortable and very adjustable, Tough and resilient.
- Cons: Burton 3D base plate (not padded for 4X4), High backs not ergonomic (i.e. straight), Forward lean setting limitations
- Flex: mid
Experience:
I have been riding this pair for years now, and it has held up reasonably well. At first I was really concerned about quality because some threads were loose and paint on the buckles were flaking/coming off after a few days riding. But as mentioned it has held up to this day.
To elaborate on the cant/forward lean, 0 to +2 is comfortable for me, but even at 0, this is not a neutral 90 degree setting, it is already leaning forward. Could be an issue for some riders particularly in the park.
That said, love it and would reocmmend to anyone.
