• Name: 2007 Burton Twin
• Skill:  Intermediate
• Use:  Groomed,Halfpipe,Jibs,Jumps,Low Speeds,Switch Riding
• Pros:  Beautiful - see the graphics, Cheap for a sintered base board (from Burton), Good pop and can be used all mountain
• Cons:  Stiffer (between Custom and Dominant), Can be sketchy at high speeds, Topsheet scratches easily.

Experience:   First time I rode a twin, I rented the 2007 retro twin and fell in love with the board. Subsequently I bought this board. Until today I find it hard to find any board that can rival the classic style this board exudes and it has been a great first board for me. Do not get misled, whilst marketed as a freestyle, board, it is a solid all mountain board with a true twin shape. As a result it is a little stiffer than most park boards, making butters a little harder to pull off but solid on rails and good pop on jumps. I ride the 151 btw.

• Name: 2008 Dakine Cobra GT Glove
• Pros:  stylish, warm, comfortable
• Cons:  deos not fit a dakine wristguard, velcro strap's can get iced up,

Experience:   I love this pair of gloves and have been using for quite some time now. The leather is very supple but must be maintained carefully or the grain will wear out. Great toasty stylish glove which is remarkably warm.

• Name: 2007 Burton Cartel
• Pros:  Light and Responsive, Comfortable and very adjustable, Tough and resilient.
• Cons:  Burton 3D base plate (not padded for 4X4), High backs not ergonomic (i.e. straight), Forward lean setting limitations
• Flex:  mid

Experience:   I have been riding this pair for years now, and it has held up reasonably well. At first I was really concerned about quality because some threads were loose and paint on the buckles were flaking/coming off after a few days riding. But as mentioned it has held up to this day. To elaborate on the cant/forward lean, 0 to +2 is comfortable for me, but even at 0, this is not a neutral 90 degree setting, it is already leaning forward. Could be an issue for some riders particularly in the park. That said, love it and would reocmmend to anyone.
