"OK Boots" 11/3/2013
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 K2 Maysis Snowboard Boots Men's
  • Pros:  Dual BOA is awesome, Good flex, Good fit
  • Cons:  Inner BOA not so good, Done after 60 days, Packed out fast
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  10.5
  • Boot Size:  9.5

Experience:   When I first got these boots they were a bit too stiff, softened up nicely after about 10 days, but then around 55-60 days they were toast. Mushy and too soft. I like the dual BOA but the inner BOA seemed to ride up a bit throughout the day and cause some minor pressure points on the top of your ankle. Good boot, but don't expect more than a season out of them.

  • Name: 2011 K2 Turbo Dream Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Off Trail,Powder,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Fast, Floats in powder, great in all condition
  • Cons:  top sheet chips,

Experience:   This is hands down the best board I have ever ridden. Ridden it in every condition imaginable. Amazing in powder, great on chop, and screams on the groomers. Holds an edge amazingly well for a reversed cambered board. Only complaint is that the top sheet chips easily.

  • Name: 2012 K2 Turbo Dream Snowboard
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Off Trail,Powder,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Nice stiff flex, Very fast base, Great edge hold for reverse camber
  • Cons:  Top sheet chips easily,

Experience:   This is hands down the best board I have ever ridden. Each years iteration of the board is only better than the last. Ridden it in every condition imaginable. Amazing in powder, great on chop, and screams on the groomers. Holds an edge amazingly well for a reversed cambered board. Only complaint is that the top sheet chips easily.
"comfy" 9/27/2010

  • Name: 2007 Salomon Relay Pro
  • Pros:  very comfortaable, adjustable, responsive
  • Cons:  ratchets not so great,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   These bindings are great for park & pow; hard pack, not so much. They are extremely comfortable and tweakable. The only problem I really had with them was when the toe strap was tightened down a lot, on hard landings the ratchet would pop open and my toes would be loose in the binding. Maybe I just got some bad ratchets?
"best jacket I have owned" 9/27/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Esquire
  • Pros:  Warm, Great pockets & fit, Awesome Colorway
  • Cons:  none,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  XL
  • Description:  Baggy, but what I was looking for

Experience:   I absolutely love this jacket. I got it in green, and its much brighter in person, which made me happy. Its pretty warm, very waterproof (despite the 10k/10k rating), stylish, and the outer material is bombproof. Ive snagged this jacket on many branches and not a single tear. I want another jacket of the same thing!
"good board" 9/27/2010

  • Name: 2008 Salomon Benedek
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Off Trail,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  solid, stable, stiff
  • Cons:  not so great for powder,

Experience:   This board is a great all around performer. Could be better in powder, but that is not what its made for. Holds an edge extremely well in almost all conditions, is nice and stable while taking burner laps, or in the park. Its a bit on the stiff side, so presses aren't the easiest, more of a jump board if you are using it for the park. Handles the whole mountain well.
"super stiff" 9/26/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Salomon Malamute
  • Pros:  responsive,
  • Cons:  maybe too stiff, toe box a bit narrow,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  stiff
  • Shoe Size:  10.5
  • Boot Size:  9.5

Experience:   Bought this boot after riding F22's for a couple of years. Much more stiff, but also much more responsive. Although after probably 4+ hours the outside of my foot would start to hurt. Great high end boot, but just a bit too stiff for my liking. Built to last, thats for sure.
"certainly a dream" 9/26/2010

  • Name: 2010 K2 Turbo Dream
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Powder
  • Pros:  fast, stable, great in powder
  • Cons:  none,

Experience:   This board is amazing, an absolute dream(pun intended). Makes riding powder effortless with its all-terrain rocker. Holds an edge extremely well on hard pack, is not squirely at high speeds like other rockered boards; also holds up to abuse well. I had about 75 days on this board last season, and it still looks nearly new! Im commited to K2 new, this board is that good!
"Love these!" 9/26/2010

  • Name: 2010 Flux Super Titan
  • Pros:  Responsive, Light Weight, colorway
  • Cons:  started off stiff, heel pad wears quickly,
  • Flex:  stiff

Experience:   These are great responsive bindings. When I first got them, they were a bit stiff for my liking, but after about 4-5 days of riding they softened up a bit to the perfect amount. I ride everywhere on the mountain, and these hold up great to everything. I rode about 135 days on these last season and they are still in great condition, other than the heel pads starting to wear off.
