"Pretty good" 4/8/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton AK Static 3L GoreTex Snowboard Jacket
  • Pros:  gore-tex keeps you dry all day, light so you can layer underneath, cyan looks good
  • Cons:  no mesh lined side vents, too expensive unless you get it from sierra sale, could use more pockets
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  XS
  • Fits Like:  XS
  • Description:  true to size

Experience:   I bought this for my girlfriend along with the Static 3L pants. The only issue I have with these, is that they do not have mesh lined side vents. These retail for $450, over 100 more than my AK Cyclic which have meshed lined vents. What's the deal? Other than that, I've heard no complaints from the girlfriend about them. She loves the zipper interface between the pants/jacket, which keeps her from getting snow down her back.

  • Name: 2011 Superfeet Footbeds F
  • Pros:  lots of padding, good arch support,
  • Cons:  might raise your feet too much,

Experience:   I bought these mainly to get rid of the heel-lift with my boots, but I haven't been able to ride with them yet. My boots are already tight fitting, half a size smaller than I should be wearing but I have maybe 1/4 of heel lift. With these on, the heel-lift is definitely eliminated, however they raise my feet up a lot in my boots, which might cause me some pressure points when I ride. Other than that, no complaints about them. I just started using them in my daily walking/workout shoes and they feel amazing!

  • Name: 2010 Burton Lux Midweight Thermal Crew Top Women's
  • Pros:  soft, warm,
  • Cons:  curaco color looks darker in person,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  XS
  • Fits Like:  XS
  • Description:  slim

Experience:   Bought this for my girlfriend in the Curaco color. She thought it was comfy and soft, but she was kind of cold with this and another midweight thermal underneath her shell. Temps were below 20. So layer more if you're wearing this and a lighter jacket!
"awesome baselayer" 3/23/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Midweight VNeck Thermal
  • Pros:  warm, breathable, black polka looks great
  • Cons:  none,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  XS
  • Fits Like:  XS
  • Description:  perfect

Experience:   Bought this as a baselayer/thermal for my girlfriend. So far, she's worn only this underneath her shell jacket and feels comfy with it in upper 30s to low 20s temperatures. You can't go wrong at $12 per.
"Burton AK 2L Cyclic Review" 5/1/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton AK 2L Cyclic
  • Pros:  Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Waterproof
  • Description:  WEATHER: Spring Day, Blue Bird Powder Day, Cloudy and Cold, Cold and Blustery Day,

Experience:   This is an awesome shell jacket. I've ridden in about 30 degrees without a fleece layer and it was slightly cold. Just add more layers if you feel cold at all. Being a shell jacket, it's so lightweight that I don't even notice it. Has lots of pockets. I have a small frame (5'5 135lbs) so this jacket is pretty baggy on me, but that's the look I was going for and it worked out. Haven't gotten to wear it on a rainy day, but I'm sure it can handle it.
"Nice and warm" 5/1/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 686 Vitals Prospect
  • Pros:  Like all the other reviewers here said, it's really warm.

Experience:   This is as warm as my Columbia fleece and is probably 1/4 of the weight. Haven't tried it, but it's probably perfect for layering.
"good stuff" 5/1/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Phase
  • Pros:  Warm, comfortable, padded.
  • Cons:  None

Experience:   Wore these about 15 days this season, and my Buffer socks 6 or so. I like these a lot more than the Buffers. They're just not as thick, and I don't get as much swamp foot after getting out of my boots.
"Awesome pants" 3/30/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Foursquare Q
  • Pros:  Breathable, Durable, Warm, Waterproof
  • Description:  WEATHER: Cloudy and Cold, Cold and Blustery Day, Snow and Rain Mixed, Sleet, Storming and White Out, LEG: Baggy, WAIST: Feels too big, INSEAM: Feels too long,

Experience:   I needed some baggy pants to go with my baggy jacket and these worked out perfectly. The blaze color is a lot brighter than I expected in the pictures which is great for my setup. I just hope the color doesn't fade easily. Also got a lot of compliments on the mountain with my setup, probably mostly due to these awesome pants.
"Burton Buffer Argyle Second Review" 2/18/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Burton Buffer Argyle Second
  • Pros:  Comfortable, until they get damp/cold.
  • Cons:  Maybe it was the boots I was wearing, but these socks got moist/damp after a few runs and they almost feel as though they are cotton.

Experience:
