"Giro revolver" 7/17/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Giro Revolver Snowboard Helmet Men's
  • Pros:  Great fitting , many adjustments ,
  • Cons:  none so far,

Experience:   I got this helmet at a good price and it has worked great as I've put about 40 days on mine and it still has no problems. I like how it has many different foam inserts to get a snug fit whether you are wearing a balclava or beanie or nothing under it on warmer spring days. Just the right amount of brim .Solid purchase , I recommend this. Find it on sale like I did!
"Burton Custom X " 5/9/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Custom X Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Powder
  • Pros:  fast and stable at high speeds,
  • Cons:  No,

Experience:   Advanced Skiers are always asking how I go so fast on a slowboard as they get passed .This board is amazing going from edge to edge. It is so stable when bombing steep terrain.
"Burton cargo pants" 3/22/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Cargo Snowboard Pant
  • Pros:  love the fit , not too loose ,,
  • Cons:  none for me ,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right

"supermodel x " 3/22/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Supermodel X Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Chop,Crud,High Speeds,Powder
  • Pros:  very responsive,light snappy , surfy,
  • Cons:  ?? Buttering ,

Experience:   My go to powder board. It floats effortlessly through the good stuff and plows through the chopped up crud just as easily. The extra stiffness makes it great for an aggressive rider .Gotta love the stainless steel edges and vaporskin top sheet to keep it a little lighter. Its basically a surf oriented version of the custom x with the setback stance and tapered shape
"burton malolo" 2/16/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Malolo Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Chop,Crud,Powder
  • Pros:  surfs the pow ,nose doesn't sink,,
  • Cons:   none, its a pow board ride it when its deep,

Experience:   Love the way its effortless to stay afloat in the deep pow. Eliminates the rear leg burn from leaning back when you aren't on a steep slope. Plows through tracked out snow no problem as well. It's like cheating in the powder
"2010 supermodel 159" 1/2/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Supermodel Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Off Trail,Powder
  • Pros:  Love the way this board floats in the powder,
  • Cons:  quiver board,

Experience:   After riding a malolo for a few seasons on the deeper pow days .I wanted to try the supermodel for a little less exagerated nose +taper. Perfect , easier to ride out of situations switch than it was with the malolo.
"burton goretex snowboard gloves" 7/22/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton GoreTex Gloves
  • Pros:  Never have wet hands again, ,
  • Cons:  a bit pricey,

Experience:   These gloves have worked great for me and have lasted several seasons. My hands do not get wet.I usually use mittens when temps. get arctic but these work under most conditions on the slopes. I recommend these especially if you can score them at a good discount.
"Spy Targa II" 7/20/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Spy Targa II Snowboard Goggles
  • Pros:  price ,fits face well,
  • Cons:  not the most stylist ,

Experience:   You won't find a better goggle for the price. These fit great and hardly ever fog up. They might not be quite as stylish looking as some of Spy's higher end goggles but you can't go wrong for the price .I recommend these for the budget conscious rider.
"burton mission bindings" 7/17/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Mission
  • Pros:  The price is right , very durable ,
  • Cons:  Not quite as stiff as I'd like for freeriding.,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I rode these bindings for several years before stepping it up to the cartels.I never had any problems with them malfunctioning or being unreliable. They are affordable and def. get the job done. There is a moderate amount of flex in these bindings and I would recommend these for a person who spends more time in the park than free riding or big mtn..Overall this a solid binding at a great affordable price that won't break the bank.
"Special Blend circa " 7/16/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Special Blend Circa Snowboard Jacket
  • Pros:  This is a great looking and functioning shell ,
  • Cons:  Just remember to order 1 size smaller than you , normally wear,
  • Jacket Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  XL
  • Description:  Long + baggy

Experience:   This is a great waterproof shell. It is lightweight and has been worn in -10 windchills with a base layer and midweight layer no problem. I would recommend ordering one size smaller than you normally wear. I ended up returing the large which fit like a xl and getting the medium .I'm 5 10 170 and the medium was a great fit for me .
"2011 Burton traction Jacket" 6/10/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Traction Snowboard Jacket
  • Pros:  The price was great ,
  • Cons:  Not for the arctic days,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Like most snowboard jackets it runs big for layering

Experience:   I use this as my everyday jacket including days when precip is falling. I have stayed dry.Once the windchill gets below zero .I'll switch to a down jacket. Overall this jacket works for me 90 % of the time .Like most snowsports gear it runs big for layering so expect it to be one size larger that a normal jacket .... Large for example, is the size of a XL .Great price , great shell .Buy it

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Dakine Team Mission Backpack
  • Pros:  perfect for light touring + carryon bag at the air,
  • Cons:  couple more pockets would help,

Experience:   Works great to hold a laptop etc for carry on and great for some short day hikes or ligth touring .Vertical board carry is nice for steeper climbs. I would recommend especially at 40 % off
"red trace snowboard helmrt" 2/7/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Red Trace Snowboard Helmet Men's
  • Pros:  fits great ,comfortable + warm,
  • Cons:  little clip to hold goggle strap keeps coming loos,

Experience:   The fit is perfect , it sits down low + has a little velcro flap to keep the gap on the forehead between goggle+ helmet closed.Only issue I had was the clip that held the goggle strap on the back of the helmet needs to be secured better to the helmet as I have almost lost mine several times

  • Name: 2011 Burton Cartel EST
  • Pros:  An amazing all mtn. binding,
