"Compact but heavy" 4/16/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Dakine Cool Tool
  • Pros:  Small size, Sturdy,
  • Cons:  heavy,

Experience:   This wrench is small, fits into a space that is 5 (L) x 2.5 (W) x 1 (H). The wrench is heavier than I thought it would be. The good thing is that it feels very sturdy, the wrench is put together.
"Small feels like a medium" 4/15/2010

  • Name: 2010 Quiksilver Shred Flanders Shell
  • Pros:  waterproof, warm,
  • Cons:  weird fit,
  • Jacket Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M

Experience:   Material is not that great, and doesn't look waterproof...but it is. I poured some water on it and the water just ran right off the jacket. Quiksilver has issues with their jacket sizing. I knew this going in and I bought a small because of it. The SMALL jacket fits me (normally a medium) great around the shoulders, but is a bit tight at the waist. I also tend to wear just a long sleeve shirt underneath my jackets, so if you wear lots of layers, you might want to consider a larger size.
"Goes well with the Custom V-rocker" 4/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Special Blend Get Rad Bandana
  • Pros:  Purple,
  • Cons:  Purple,

Experience:   The grape bandana is a deep purple and goes pretty well with the Custom V-rocker 154 (which is a lighter purple) Material feels nice, but stick with your gator on the cold days. For $1 you really can't go wrong.
"Molin Plaid looks red, but more like hot pink" 4/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Baker Under
  • Pros:  Warm, waterproof,
  • Cons:  color untrue to picture,

Experience:   The burton baker mitten is very warm, much warmer than the previous gloves that I have used. There is a zipper at the top for breathability. The mitten keeps your hands dry and fits true to size. The one downside is that the Molin Plaid, while it looks red on the picture, is more like a hot pink. The threading/stitching is pretty thin, so I will probably use permanent marker to color it in or something
"Not Thief Proof, but better than nothing" 4/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Dakine Key Lock
  • Pros:  Light, Multiple keys, No need to hassle with combinations
  • Cons:  feels a bit cheap,

Experience:   This is just your standard board lock, with 2 keys. This is not going to stop someone from stealing your board, but it's an additional deterrent. Pretty small sized and comes with 2 keys, easy to slip into a pocket when you are riding. Very light and not noticeable at all when I put it in my jacket pocket. For this price, definitely get it.
"Waterproof" 3/17/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton AK 2L Cyclic
  • Pros:  Lots of room,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M

Experience:   Warm and dry, lots of room
"Very Comfortable" 3/17/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Hail
  • Pros:  Comfortable,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  soft
  • Shoe Size:  Slightly bigger
  • Boot Size:  9.5

Experience:   Very comfortable.
"Runs large" 3/16/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Quiksilver Hypnotized Shell
  • Pros:  Warm, Waterproof,
  • Cons:  Runs large, Not enough pockets,
  • Jacket Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  1 or 2 sizes too big

Experience:   This jacket runs large. I normally wear medium, but it felt like a L/XL. The material is completely waterproof. I was in a rainstorm last weekend and the only part of my body not wet was underneath this jacket.
"Very Comfortable Binding" 3/16/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Mission EST
  • Pros:  Light, Comfortable,
  • Cons:  Feels a bit flimsy,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I've been riding the Missions this season and they are by far the most comfortable bindings I've had at this price point. Light, comfortable, and durable. The back of the binding feels a bit flimsy though (a lot of flex)
"Great for All-Mountain" 3/16/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Joystick
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Powder
  • Pros:  V-rocker, Forgiving Edges, Nice design
  • Cons:  A bit heavy,

Experience:   Great for butters and tricks, yet stiff enough for high speeds Good pop in the tail. It's a bit heavier than I would like, but it is very forgiving on the edges. I haven't caught an edge yet
