"Excellent park board" 8/22/2010

  • Name: 2011 Capita Stairmaster Extreme
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Butters,Groomed,Halfpipe,High Speeds,Jibs,Jumps,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  Good pop, Stable, Easy to ride

Experience:   I've had 2 previous stairmaster extremes along with this one and I have loved them all. This board is great for jibs, jumps, butters, and much more. This thing is super poppy, I can easily ollie over obstacles and signs. This deck is also really stable so you can charge around if you feel like it.

  • Name: 2010 Burton Restricted Chigurh Snow Pants
  • Pros:  Comfy, Warm, Dry
  • Cons:  Quality, Too short (for my liking),
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  XL
  • Fits Like:  XL
  • Description:  Slightly baggy, not too long, comfortable

Experience:   These pants are pretty nice overall. I rode them during spring conditions (40-60F), they held up well in the warm conditions and I didn't get wet at all. The pants fit true to size and have lots of let room. I wish they were slightly longer but I like my pants a little longer because I'm pretty tall (6'3). I did have an issue where the seam started ripping by the left pocket. Burton is willing to help me out but they are out of stock on this model, size, and color so they told me to check back during fall to get a replacement.
"Pretty good ride" 3/15/2010

  • Name: 2010 Nitro Team Gullwing
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  High Speeds,Off Trail,Park,Powder,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Stable, Good pop, Lightweight
  • Cons:  Too loose, Not good at slow speeds,

Experience:   I got the 159W and I must say, this thing is light for being this big. The base is pretty fast and durable and took wax without much of an issue. I rode this on hard packed snow and ice and the board handled it very well. The board was a little too loose feeling at points due to the rocker but gripped hard when you needed it. This thing presses real easy as well because of the gullwing. There was no lack of pop either, I could launch this thing off anything. I found myself not liking the board at real slow speeds, it really comes to life once you get going. A very solid deck for someone looking for an all mountain board.
