"Cant beat the Price" 12/20/2011

  • Name: 2012 Burton TWC Smuggler Snowboard Pants
  • Pros:  Price, Good Colors, Good Storage
  • Cons:  Needs more breathability,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  perfect blend

Experience:   I got these based on look not price, but the price surely is a plus! The TWC collection usually is a pretty good line and these are definitely a great pair of pants. First off, I am 5'9 180lbs with a 30 waistline, these are for a 32-34 waist and fit well with a pair of sweatpants underneath. Im pretty picky on my pants not being baggy or too tight and these definitely are a good in the middle pair. Ive been in wet snow and they seem to work pretty decent so far. but i tend to like to also spray a coating of water repellent also. For anyone on a budget, or not wanting a super baggy or skinny pant, these ones are a clear winner!

  • Name: 2011 Oakley Elevate Snowboard Goggles Women's
  • Pros:  Clarity, Comfort, Crazy Colors
  • Cons:  Price,

Experience:   I just picked a set of the Elevates in lime green with the VR28 lens. They are such an amazing pair of goggles. The lens Oakley goggles come with are obviously some of the best out there. They definitely produce a very clear image. These goggles have great side vision and clarity. The VR28 lens are nice for day riding, but Id prefer the H.I. Yellow lens for all day and ight riding. Either way, you cant go wrong. Also, so you know, A-frames are the smallest goggles, then comes the Elevates, Splice, and Crowbars being the largest. So if you want a medium fit goggles the Elevates are a great choice and have plenty of color combos!

  • Name: 2010 Anon Figment Painted
  • Pros:  Very clear, Cool colors, Comfortable

Experience:   I really like these goggles. I have had a few others like smith and oakley, but I made the transition to anon and have been loving them alot. They have great fitment for medium faces. You can also pick up a ton of different lenses, and replace the straps to different colors. Thats pretty legit. I havent had them fog on me at all yet. GOOD STUFF!

  • Name: 2009 Special Blend Brigade
  • Pros:  Pockets, Style, Insulated
  • Cons:  No pit zips, Too baggy,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  relaxed fit

Experience:   Well, to be thorough, I tried he jacket out in a store for fit and a medium (my normal size) was far too big for even my likings. So when I saw the white icon in a small I had to get it. So 3 days later it was on my door step and ready to rock. A small fits like a typical medium would. You can bend over and the back side doesnt leave you exposed. The only flaw with sizing is that the sleeves are huge! Like enormously wide. Good for layering though. Also, I was hoping it would have pit zips to vent since it was insulated and my last two jackets didnt have them. Slight bummer. I think anyone would be crazy not to get this jacket though. Filled with pockets, even a crazy pocket along the backside. Has the yo-yo pass atachment. Pretty sweet. hope that helps

  • Name: 2012 Neff Sucker Stomp Pad
  • Pros:  durable, good traction,
  • Cons:  thick,

Experience:   I just bought this not too long ago and I do like it. Its very nice. It doesnt get too caked up with snow. Has a lot traction to keep your trailing foot on the board. The only drawback for me personally is that it was really thick. Its over a 1/4 thick. Wasnt expecting that when I ordered it. All in all its a good item to pick up, and who doesnt love the Neff dude?

  • Name: 2012 Anon Hawkeye Painted Goggles Lens
  • Pros:  Great Color, Good Vision, Comfortable

Experience:   I bought the absinth/blue lagoon setup and LOVE them. The lens is a great all around lens. I was able to ride while it was super bright out and then able to ride when some clouds rolled in and sun was setting. I usually wear a smaller to medium set of goggles and these fit perfect, and were very comfortable. For the price you just cant beat these. Would buy again, might get an all blacked out pair actually.

"nice set o gloves" 12/20/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Burton Pipe Gloves Men's
  • Pros:  light weight, great fit, good materials
  • Cons:  somewhat cold without liner, light grip,

Experience:   I bought these at a local shop and I have to say they are pretty nice. I went for the straight blacked out gloves so I could get some versatility out of them. I tend to buy thinner gloves and just wear a liner on colder days and these sure do the trick. Ive also used water repellent spray to further the waterproofing and its made a huge difference! I recommend hitting the palms with a spray. The grip is light but still there, I usually use gloves with all over grip, not just little areas like this glove, but its not bad. Ive been wearing these gloves a lot to drive as well and the materials havent stretched out one bit yet. All in all, a good set of gloves.

  • Name: 2011 Neff Daily Pipe Snowboard Gloves Men's
  • Pros:  good grip, light weight, good colors

Experience:   These were my extra pair of gloves and I loved them as much as my other Neff gloves. They are very light weight and mobile, and have a ton of grip. If you want to wear these year round, I would go up one size extra and wear a liner or get a fleece running glove. I wore these in the coldest of winter and had no complaints! Good job Neff!

  • Name: 2011 Neff Edge Pipe Snowboard Gloves Men's
  • Pros:  Light weight, Great colors, Relatively warm
  • Cons:  Side tore,

Experience:   I really enjoyed these gloves. They are lightweight and give you good use of your hands. I'd recommend sizing up one so you can wear a liner glove on cold days and take it out on warm ones. Colors were great and the grip side was as well. All in all I liked these and would buy again!

  • Name: 2010 Burton Spectre
  • Pros:  Price, Lightweight,
  • Cons:  wear out fast,

Experience:   I had these for one season and I enjoyed them while they lasted. I sized up so I could wear a liner glove since i liked the graffic. These gloves are pretty light weight and should be used more in the spring or warmer weather. My particular set of gloves wore out kind of quick, this was just me though and cant say itll happen to you as well.

  • Pros:  Design, Speedlace, Comfort
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  11
  • Boot Size:  11

Experience:   These boots are amazing. They are super comfy and have lots of cushion. You can bang in the park all day and not really feel a thing! I have ridden each years boots for the hail and they all are amazing. I am going to keep buying these boots till they no longer make them!!!!

  • Name: 2009 Burton Idiom Superpipe
  • Pros:  Goretex, Thin, SUPER WARM
  • Cons:  color,

Experience:   I really like these gloves. They are super lightweight, nice and thin, but dont lack on warmth at all. Used them today in slush and was throwing snowballs all over the place, all the water just beaded right off. Yeah thats the goretex and leather for ya. I got an XL and it fits kind of like a large, but still really good. They only drawback has been that the lime gloves, werent really lime, more so a mint or bright teal color. They still look sick as hell, but I was hoping for the lime color. Oh well, 27 bucks for a 90 dollar pair of gloves, I can handle that!

  • Name: 2008 Foursquare Dutchbag
  • Pros:  15,000mm Waterproof and 10,000 breathable, Tweed, different than normal pants, Slim fit, warm, snap in gaitors
  • Cons:  none, yet,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  The fit: Rocker style, slim fit, good for me!

Experience:   Ok, so I had my eye on these for a while and I finally splurged to get them. They are sick! I dont like the normal super baggy look, and these are just the oppisite. They fit really well and arent too baggy. These have the gaitor interface to snap the pants into any foursquare or special blend jacket with the snaps on them as well. They are also rather warm. Still have the side vents if you feel you are getting too warm One other thing about these is they are very very different. Everyone is going with just plain colors but these will go with pretty much anything and look good, Im rocking them with a white special blend jacket and it looks great. All in all, great for the price! Pick them up people!
