"Got IT!" 12/12/2008

  • Name: 2009 Dakine Adjustable Tuning Iron 110v
  • Pros:  Perfect tool for those who know how to wax. Not only is it sleek and lightweight, but its also easy to use. Price is relatively cheap compared to other brand name wax irons.
  • Cons:  Non so far.

Experience:   This is a great iron to use for your hot waxing. It has 3 specific temperature ratings: 212, 262, and 302 F. One of my favorite things about it though is that it doesn't fluctuate in temperature like regular household irons. The lack of steam holes is a plus too. : )

  • Name: 2013 Lib Tech Skate Banana BTX Wide Snowboard 153
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Butters,Groomed,Jibs,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Great Pop, Reverse Camber, Magne Traction

Experience:   I personally own an 09 banana and compared it side by side with a friend's 2013. The tech is all the same. I think the only difference is is that the 2013 has the TNT base while the 09 has a sintered base. This means more durability for freestyle riders!
"Dragon APXs" 12/19/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2013 Dragon APXs Goggles
  • Pros:  Great Look, Great Vision, Comfortabl
  • Cons:  Pricey,

Experience:   I tried these on and the regular APX. It is an awesome rimless design. The foam padding feels great and the anti-fog is the best in the business. I ended up getting the regular APX because I have a big dome
"Dragon APX Knight Rider" 12/19/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2013 Dragon APX Goggles
  • Pros:  Best peripheral vision, Great Anti-Fog, Cool Design
  • Cons:  Not for small heads, Expensive,

Experience:   I got these with blue-yellow ionized lenses and two replacement lenses: rose and eclipse. These are the only goggles with a true frameless design. I usually use the eclipse lens. It makes me look like a jet fighter from Top Gun. If you have a small head, you should stick with the APXs. The anti-fog is a lot better than my EG2's. The foam padding is the most comfortable of all the brands that I have tried hands down.
"Tried out my friends." 12/15/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 RED Hi-Fi Audex Audio
  • Pros:  At first when I saw the helmet, I thought that it must of had horrible sound quality. I must say, I was thoroughly surprised; It was a lot better than I expected it to be. The helmet itself was well padded although it was a bit too big for me (my friend has a bigger dome). It also has a comfy chin strap.
  • Cons:  It wouldn't work with my first gen. Iphone cause of the sunken headphone jack. Good thing I brought my iPod.

Experience:   Tried out my buddy's helmet. Give it two thumbs up. Now I really wanna get one... maybe the Mutiny.
"The Standard" 12/12/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Burton Bomber Boot Laces
  • Pros:  Proper length and strength for all normally laced bindings

Experience:   I ripped the outer lacing on one of my old boots, exposing the stringy inside. Bought these laces, laced up, and all was well.
"Quality" 12/12/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Anon Figment Print
  • Pros:  This was my third pair of goggles in 3 seasons. I keep loosing them for some reason. Anyway, these work well for the price. It gives you good peripheral vision, it rarely fogs (usually only when I wear a bandana or mask), and it keeps the sun and snow out of your eyes.
  • Cons:  If I have to be picky, the straps are a little harder to adjust than my Von Zippers.

Experience:   For the price, you can't beat it.
"Must what you need to get done." 12/12/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Burton Fileguide Kit
  • Pros:  It works just like any other file guide you'll find. This one just looks cooler and has burton slapped on it.
  • Cons:  It comes with a cheapo file... but it works.

Experience:   If you've got the spare cash, go right ahead. It really comes in handy in avoiding sticky situations.
"Decent" 12/12/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Dakine 10 inch Scraper
  • Pros:  Its big. Its plastic so you can sharpen it pretty easily. Also, you can use the shorter side for precession scraping.
  • Cons:  The one thing I wished it had is one of those corner cut outs to scrape the edges of your board.

Experience:   It'll do the trick but ide go with one with an edge scraper if you can.
"Great Binding from a reputable company." 12/9/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Cartel 2009
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Lightweight, Comfortable, Well known brand, Popular model
  • Fit:  fits fine

Experience:   If this is gonna be your first binding purchase, than its a good one. Ive had 2 pairs of these so far cause unfortunately the high back on my first pair snapped. Good thing the nice people over at burton were kind enough to fix it for me in no time. Definitely a good first pair of bindings.
"Burton Un Inc Review" 12/9/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Burton Un Inc
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Carving,Groomers,Jumps,Rails
  • Pros:  lightweight, poppy, Popular model, Well known brand
  • Cons:  Top sheet scratches

Experience:   This was my third board and I must say, it was a good purchase. This is the board I bring to the mountain when I'm out with my friends. It is a great board to ride when your in the park, but it doesn't suffer any performance when your using it all around the hill. I believe it won transworld good wood 08 and maybe also for 09. Dont quote me on that.
"This is a JIB MASTER" 12/9/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Capita Stairmaster
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Groomers,Jumps,Rails
  • Pros:  lightweight, poppy, Popular model, Great value

Experience:   I have nothing bad to say about this board. Much of the masses havent really heard of the stairmaster but in the park world, its a legend. Probably one of the best jibbers on the market. Its got great pop and does exactly what you want it to do. At a little over 300 for this seasons board... its a steal.
