"Decent binding " 9/26/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Union Flite Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  Straps held in well, Less padding molded to fit your boot perfectly,
  • Cons:  Toe strap not tool free, Less padding gives it decent comfort,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Easy tool free adjustment except for the toe strap (ugh! be much better if it was also tool free) This binding is more freestyle influenced and softer highbacks makes this binding not overly responsive but very forgiving for the parks. The straps are hollowed in the middle so it can fit your boots better for a more secure tight hold but with that you also loose a bit of comfort. Still a very solid binding that can take a beating.
"QUIVER KILLER!" 10/20/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Capita Quiver Killer ATV Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Park
  • Pros:  Stiffer from nose to tail, making it a stable ride, Quick edge to edge,

Experience:   Just like what the board is called QUIVER KILLER! This is your all mountain board that will take over everything because you won't need anything else. With the stiffer nose to tail, this board is very stable when you want to bomb the entire mountain. Still soft enough to be playful and take it to the park, just bit more effort to hold the press for butter.
"Great Shorts" 6/16/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Analog Tasmania
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Different ways to adjust the waist size,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Just right

Experience:   Good fit overall, great style. Used it for lounging at the beach, surfing, swimming, and was comfortable all around. The Velcro, string and zip made a great fit to keep the shorts on.
"Its an average binding" 6/12/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton P1.1
  • Pros:  Straps were comfortable but felt better ones,
  • Cons:  Weak Ratchets, Expensive,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Ratchets seems cheap - sticks on very cold temps. Does not hold onto the teethes on the strap very well, had them pop off on me while charging down the mountain on a tight turn. Straps were comfortable. For the price you could definitely find something better.
"Pusher does it again!" 9/27/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Rome Pusher Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Off Trail,Park,Powder,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Extremely stable on high speeds, Smooth carves , Very aggressive beast

Experience:   Rome's Pusher does it again. Great ride, extremely stable at high speeds and the turns are amazingly smooth flattening over anything in its path without fail. The board is heavier and stiffer than your average all mountain board. The flex is stiff so getting to the pop does require a bit more effort but it can still be done easily once you dialed it in.
"POP!" 9/15/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 K2 Fastplant Snowboard
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Butters,Groomed,Jibs,Low Speeds,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Jib Rocker for non catching boxes, POP!, Warranty
  • Cons:  Sketchy edge hold on icy conditions,

Experience:   Bamboo core delivers amazing pop. Jib rocker shape for non catching edges on boxes. Surprisingly handled well out of the park can throw down the turns without any worries of the board noodling up. On icy conditions the edge hold was weak and can get sketchy if you didn't adjust. Great 5 year warranty on core and park specific. it is going to be interesting to see if this core can hold up to more abuse but so far it can take it.
"Straight up Jib/Park board" 9/12/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Arbor Draft Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Rails
  • Pros:  True twin, Soft flex , Blunt nose/tail
  • Cons:  Too soft for pipe and larger jumps,

Experience:   Buttery goodness! if your a park rat this is right up your alley. True twin which riding switch effortlessly without any change adjustments in your ride. This board is especially soft in the nose and tail making it extremely easy to press and with the blunt tips helps lock you in. This board can handle the pow well with the reverse camber keeping you floating; but in the hard packed your gonna get rocked a bit from the bumps. Overall this board is extremely fun for jibs and hitting the rails and boxes, still bit to soft for the pipe for me.... ...The design should be the last thing you think about in getting a board but I have to mention it, Arbor definitely stepped up in their designs cause all their boards are looking SICK!!
"Perfect progressive board" 9/9/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Arbor Formula Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Use:  Groomed
  • Pros:  Forgiving, Perfect progression board for beg-inter., Additional contact pts for grip
  • Cons:  better have a helmet for high speeds,

Experience:   Picking up high speed you will get bounced a bit but that's ok because this isn't a board that was meant for charging. This board is very forgiving as it helps riders initiate turns with the softer flex torsionally which aids in faster edge to edge. This board is a directional twin so there is little adjustment when you ride switch. But stability overall is very solid.
"This suck board doesn't suck" 9/9/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Stepchild Salary Man Reverse Camber Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Park,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  True twin, Grips well on icy conditions, Absorbs well on shit terrain

Experience:   Great board that really give you bang for your buck. Demoed this near the end of the season when the conditions was crap. Extremely icey and choppy snow with rough patches, this board took all the abuse. With the middle of the road flex this board can be taken all mountain and doesn't disappoint you no matter what you have in mind of doing.
"Your go to bag" 9/8/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Ride Messiah Backpack Men's
  • Pros:  Good padding, Plenty of room,
  • Cons:  flimsy board carry straps ,

Experience:   This bag has enough room to carry everything you need on a day trip. Straps has good padding to relieve stress on your shoulders. Not really a bag you would bring back country the board carry seems like it will snap if enough weight is tugging on it long enough. This backpack is perfect for daily use.
"Fits like a glove" 9/8/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Bern Watts Snowboard Helmet Men's
  • Pros:  Light, Low profile , Most goggles work well with this helmet

Experience:   One of the lightest helmets I ever used, very simple clean look. Helmet fits me perfectly. Liner works well on colder days keeping your ears warm. Has enough room for earbuds.
"Capita's TRUE quiver killer" 9/5/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Capita Indoor Survival FK Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Park,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Stable, True twin, Awesome flex
  • Cons:  NONE!,

Experience:   Extremely playful board that can handle speed and still have insane flex. Buttering becomes almost effortless with this board easily holding any press. This board is a true twin meaning you can ride switch without making any adjustments to your style. Edges grips hard even on the iciest days of the East coast.
"Simple bindings with quality" 9/5/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2012 Union Force Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  Quality bindings, Simple and easy for anyone,
  • Cons:  Still can't think of any,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Union's 2012 Force is easily adjustable from heelcup, base and tool less straps. Very comfortable with enough padding to absorb the rough spots on any mountain. The highback has a multizone flex; forgiving and softer flex towards the top and stiffer and stronger towards the bottom. These bindings are not meant to be overly responsive and more forgiving.
"Good hoodie for spring" 7/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Analog Profile
  • Pros:  Light comfortable fit,
  • Cons:  Runs small, Tight in the arms,
  • Fit:  Too small
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  S

Experience:   This would be a great hoodie for the spring or by the beach chilling at the bonfire. It runs small, bit tight in the arms. It feels like a vintage Tee.
"Sweet pair of pants!" 7/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Sessions Concept Snowboard Pants Men's
  • Pros:  Goretex, Lots of pockets,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M

Experience:   I demo'ed a pair from my roomates closet. Durable pair of pants that can take abuse. Goretex helps with the waterproofing but not the best quality since water did break through a bit when lounging on the mountain top.
"This will do" 7/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Quiksilver Standard Ops Shell Snowboard Pants Men's
  • Pros:  lightweight, color, baggy fit
  • Cons:  thin,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M

Experience:   Ok pair of pants, it works great for the spring season or during colder days you would have to layer it up since the pants are pretty thin. Strong winds you can feel it break thru the pants.
"great board to dominate the mountain" 7/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Rome Blue Womens
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Powder
  • Pros:  Stable at high speeds tight turns, great for pow,
  • Cons:  heavier than avg,

Experience:   My girlfriend loves this board, totally can kill the mountain with this board. Quick edge to edge allowing for quick turns. This board is stiff so handling the tight turns at high speeds is no problems. You would have to play a bit to dial in that pop if you want play with this board and presses are harder but possible.
"Worst boots ever!" 7/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Emerald Womens
  • Pros:  They fit,
  • Cons:  They fit, Can't tighten inner liner well,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  6
  • Boot Size:  5

Experience:   My girlfriend had to return these boots the next day after wearing it inside the house to break them in. There isn't really any pros as far as I can tell, Sure it did fit snug like it should have but after wearing it for half hr feet starts to go numb and also pinches the arch of the foot. The only way to tighten the liners was to pull hard which leads to the numbness in the foot. Also its a pain to get the feet out of the boots
"One of my favorites!" 7/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Analog Van Go!

  • Name: 2009 Giro Roots Goggles
  • Pros:  Style, Fit,
  • Cons:  Runs a bit smaller,

"Feels bit flimsy but works" 6/22/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Dakine Mega Blaster Snowboard Tool
  • Pros:  Design, Compact,
  • Cons:  Flimsy feeling,

Experience:   Overall it was good, not great. On the stubborn screws, can't really add much torque to the handles. The whole thing feels like it would snap if you put more pressure on it. Like the idea of the design with the mini compartments for the bits. Used better compact tools that was more simple in design but works a lot better

  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Great flex, V Rockered,

  • Name: 2010 Rome Marshall
  • Pros:  Comfortable all around, Warm,
  • Cons:  Pain to get off,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  8.5
  • Boot Size:  8

Experience:   Demoed a pair and it was one of the best fit I ever. Boot felt snug all around just perfect. Liners were nice and tight and lacing was fairly quick. It kept me warm, never complained about freezing toes even with a lot of down time just standing trying to help a friend learn. After a long day, dead tired this boot will fight you ever bit of the way when your trying to get out of it. But overall its a awesome boot.
"Great luggage!" 6/18/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Wheelie Flight Deck
  • Pros:  Size and Capacity, Takes abuse,

Experience:   borrowed this from a buddy of mine. This is great for carry on, fits exactly to the requirements. The bag is able to extend so you can really stuff it up. Even though its carry on you don't expect to toss it around as much, but this thing can really take some abuse. Careful of stuffing it to much, I was on a Delta flight and it actually couldn't fit in the overhead so I had to check the bag (no charge though).

  • Cons:  Would still have to reach into pocket, Small buttons,
