Experience:   I got these a while ago and I still use them because of the mirrored lenses. They still work great. No fog at all and has withstood a couple handwashings with dishwashing soap. They are still soft and don't pinch anywhere. The only thing I didn't realize was that they would not fit my nose correctly. I have a medium face and a small nose bridge and there is alway a gap there.

Experience:   Not much to say except that I got the pants due to the pattern. I do love the pockets and the warmth and the breathability of the pants, but I find this is similar to almost any other pant on the market today. I like that it is baggy and I don't feel constricted due to the legs. I really didn't like that there are shorts inside the pants which I will probably never use but if I ever do, I will think about how smart it was I got them. Very impractical and a bit binding when I get in the pants.

Experience:   The bindings are great if you are looking to Freeride. They do not pinch at all but I found my toes beginning to get sore and lose feeling due to the stiffness of the binding. I rode it was a GNU Riders Choice and it seemed to deaden the board too much for my tastes. I prefer to feel more of the board and this binding did not do that for me. I think that they work great for carving up the mountain but for my skill level and what I would like to do with the board, it is a bit too much.

Experience:   I am very happy with this board. I bought it to use more as a trick board and it hasn't dissapointed. It holds the edge well with the magne traction and it allows me to use a smaller board. Previously I felt unstable and unsafe with the same size board from other companies because of the chatter I would get when I stop really fast. No such issues with this board. Also, the banana let s me spin without taking huge spills due to catching an edge. I feel like I have improved dramatically just due to this board. The only downside I can think of is that it is a bit heavy.

• Pros:  No frills kind of helmet that makes you head feel more like a beanie than in a vice. The air vents allow you to regulate the amount of air cooling your head.
• Cons:  The ear pieces allow air to blow in if the wind is coming from the side hard. The plastic piece that holds the ear piece gets bent a lot so mine is cracking and breaking off.

Experience:   I used to use roller blade knee pads with plastic on the front and thinner padding until I fell on my knee really hard and bruised the crap out of it. These pads work much better and I feel confident again.

Experience:   This board is a freeriding machine. It does really well at fast speeds and will hold an edge with the utmost confidence. There is very little chatter and will cut through ice like it is its job. What I don't like about it is that I cannot freestyle on it. I had it on a 6ft powder day and the set back made it feel like I was riding on a cloud but I cannot take this board into the park.

Experience:   I loved these boots for straight freeriding and speed, but as soon as I started trying to spin I had some issues with the heel rubbing. It got so bad that I had an open sore on my heel after one day. It is a stiff boot and it really depends on what you want to use it for but it made it really uncomfortable to freestyle ride in it.

Experience:   This binding is great with the "move with the ankle" hi-back. In case you don't know, the whole hi back moves with your legs and in essence is supposed to keep your legs from fatiguing. I find that at the end of the day, when I am tired, I don't have as much fatigue. I have always loved Salomon binding because I don't ever have to adjust them or tighten them besides the base. But some people might find that annoying. The only thing I didn't like about the 07 ones were that the toe strap wouldn't always go into the little pocket it was supposed to but after seeing the next years model, it looks like they fixed that issue. If you want a binding that is bomb proof and requires very little fuss, this is your binding.

Experience:   I have had Northwaves and Salomons before I got my Rulers and I will never go back. Boots are tricky because it really depends on your feet and what you like but I am 6ft, 210lbs and I wanted to be able to do more with my set up besides freeride. These boots are supportive yet soft enough to let you do more tricks. I have found that with a really stiff set up, there is not enough ankle support. When I was freeriding really fast, a couple bumps made my ankle feel like it was breaking. I am over riding for speed so these are the perfect boots for my style of riding right now. Futhermore, the fast lace system is amazing and I will never go back to regular ties.
