"just a bag" 6/13/2014
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Sierra Logo Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  large,
  • Cons:  shoulder strap,

Experience:   Got this bag as a gift when I bought my last snowboard and bindings. The bag is decent if your just trying to get your gear from your house to the slope but if your going on a trip where your afraid your board might get abused I'd look for something different. I myself use my dakine bag for my newest board and the Sierra for my backup. For 20$ its a good price.

  • Name: 2014 Union Contact Pro Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  lightweight, responsive,
  • Cons:  toe strap, no padding,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I'm giving this binding 3 stars but it probably could of dropped it to two stars. Pro's for the binding is light weight and have good response in your carving. I had no problem with changing the binding adjustments. Now for the downside of this binding. First the straps have to constantly be re-tighten. I would strap on the board go up the tow rope and have to tighten them again. I actually was carving down a hill a couple of times when the toe strap would loosen up enough to fall off my toe and I'd have a heavy crash. There is also no cushion for your feet. A couple of hours riding and the balls of my feet hurt. I'm just saying for the price you have to pay for these they are not worth the money. I should of spent another 30$ and gotten the rome boss

  • Name: 2014 Nitro Subzero Snowboard
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Rails
  • Pros:  lightweight, soft flex, good base

Experience:   I love this board. Been smiling since my first ride. This board is a an intermediate board for sure. If your not confident with carving I'd keep looking. I've taken this board in multiple conditions and it exceeds well in most of the conditions. Park is where it really shines from boxes to rails it handled them with ease. In powder it handled just fine. The board has enough float to keep your nose above the snow. In the trees is a spot you won't wannabe in. I had a difficult time floating around them. The zero has a good amount of pop for being a softer board I was surprised on how much pop I was getting from the softest board in my quiver. Landings it lacks in stability. If you land sketchy 9/10 times you're wiping out. I haven't had any ice this year so I'm not sure about how it will handle these conditions, and for speed I found this board to be fast and haven't had any chattering. My final say on the sub zero is consider this board if your looking for a butter jib stick or want a smile on your face no matter what the conditions are outside then put this board in your quiver.
"Good boots" 1/26/2013
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2012 DC Super Park Snowboard Boots
  • Pros:  Light,
  • Cons:  not full boa,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  9.5
  • Boot Size:  10

Experience:   Overall a decent boot. Light weight but not the lightest boots out there. Keeps your feet dry and warm for a few hours of riding. I get about 4 hours of riding before my toes get cold. The only con about the boots I've found so far is the boa is only for the heel of the boots and I had to replace the unit already on my left boot but once tighten down you don't need to worry about boot coming loose. Also the boots are at least a half size smaller then normal so if you order them online go up half a size.
"Good Stomp" 12/2/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Dakine Spike Stomp
  • Pros:  Little ice buildup,

Experience:   Good pad bought two of these one for myself and the other for the girlfriend. I've never had to worry about snow and ice buildup on it. When i stomp my foot locks in right away. Only problem I had with the pads was I couldn't get the pad to stick to my gf board so had to trash that one and go buy another but eventually got it to work. Buy it if u want a good stomp pad.
"nice tee" 6/17/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Sierra Ready To Butter TShirt
  • Pros:  nice graphic, size is right,
  • Cons:  long,
  • Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  long

Experience:   I got this tee as a gift and it is a nice tee but it definatly is a little long for my stature. I order a large because I was afraid the t-shirt was going to be short. I can usually ware a medium if the t-shirts is long enough. Definatly going to be sporting this around this summer waiting for the snow to come back.
