  • Pros:  Adjustability, Easy in & out, Boot hold, Durable, Good construction quality, Lightweight, Comfortable, Well known brand, Popular model
  • Fit:  fits fine

Experience:   I sport the Ride LX and my wife sports the Ride LXh womens. She won't use anything else. Perfect fit. Very comfortable. Easy to get in and out of. She has used them for a while and ridden them hard and they're holding up great. Best bindings on the market and at a great price.
"Tall and skinny? These are for you..." 3/24/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Foursquare Smith Slim Fit
  • Pros:  Snug waste, Loose but not baggy thigh/leg, Inner thigh vents
  • Cons:  A little thin, Not too warm,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Snug around the waste, perfect around thighs

Experience:   These pants are perfect for the tall skinny rider that doesn't want big, baggy pants. I have to buy a large pant to get the perfect length because I am tall and skinny. I'm 6'2 and 155 lbs. with a 32 inch waste. These pants in a large fit perfect. These pants are a little thin and not very insulated so you'll need a base layer on cold days. Perfect for spring conditions. The pants fit like a straight leg, boot cut style pant.

  • Name: 2010 Sierra Crew Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Powder,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Perfect all mountain board, Nice flex, Great edgehold
  • Cons:  None,

Experience:   I purchased the 2010 Sierra Crew after a brief stint with the 2009 Lib Tech Skate Banana. All I can say is, Welcome back to regular camber! I love this board. It has the perfect amount of flex and edgehold. This puppy slays the mountain. Whether it's groomers or fresh pow, you're going to love every inch of terrain when you're on this board.
"Very nice gloves" 2/23/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Dakine Nova
  • Pros:  Very warm, comfortable. Kept my hands warm and dry all day in deep powder. Fit snug ans the wrist strap tightens up to keep the snow out.
  • Cons:  Bought them at another retailer for the full $40. Well worth the price, but Sierra prices kick butt.

Experience:

  • Name: 2009 Sierra Band Short Sleeve
  • Pros:  Sweet graphic, very comfortable.

Experience:   I just got this shirt for free from Sierra. Thanks guys! I'll be rocking it on the mountain this weekend!
"My next board" 2/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Lib Tech Travis Rice MTX Second
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Carving,Groomers,Jumps,Powder,Rails
  • Pros:  Durable, Easy to carve, Stable at high speeds, Strong edgehold

Experience:   This will be my next board. I rode a lib tech the other day and I want one so bad. The banana and magne-traction technologies are unmatched. I felt like a pro even though I have barely gotten out of the beginner stage. This board is so easy to use.
"This jersey is awesome." 2/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 686 Esse Riding Jersey
  • Pros:  Perfect base layer. Breathable but warm.
  • Cons:  None

Experience:   I love the 686 Esse Riding Jersey. It is very light and warm enough for cold days under a jacket or by itself on warm days. The zip up neck is a HUGE bonus. I can unzip it when I get too hot and it cools me down enough to where I'm comfortable without removing the whole shirt.
"I love ride boards" 2/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Ride DH
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomers,Jumps
  • Pros:  Durable, lightweight, Easy to carve, Stiff

Experience:   The Ride DH is a great freestyler. This board still works fine on the mountain but it was definitely made with park use in mind. Excellent for those that want to catch some big air of of the huge jumps. The graphic is one of my favorites. I wish they had put this graphic on the antic or the prophet because I'm more of an all mountain kind of guy.
"Sick pin stripes" 2/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Burton S.W. Cargo Print
  • Pros:  Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof
  • Description:  WEATHER: Spring Day, Blue Bird Powder Day, Cloudy and Cold, Cold and Blustery Day, CHEST: Feels true to size, BODY: Feels true to length, INSEAM: Feels true to length,

Experience:   I got the Burton s.w. cargo pin stripe jacket at a steep closout discount of $70. Having used it, I would have paid full price. It's worth every bit of $260.00. Plenty of pockets, very warm, extremely durable. best of all, it's water proof and comes with hidden inner cuffs to keep snow out of the sleeves. I love this jacket.
"Sweet hoodie" 2/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Mt Hoodie
  • Pros:  Great fit. Perfect for warmer days.
  • Cons:  None

Experience:   I wear the Burton Mt Hoodie Fleece on warmer days when I don't want to sweat my balls off on the mountain. Breathable, light, yet very durable. One of the most comfortable hoodies I've owned. The pin stripes look sick too.
"Sick glasses for a great price" 2/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Anon Allie
  • Pros:  For $10 you can't beat 'em. Fit great if you have a narrower head.
  • Cons:  None

Experience:   These glasses look great if your head is a little on the smaller side. For the price though, it's worth taking a shot and hoping they fit.
"better than the padlock" 2/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Dakine Key Lock
  • Pros:  Easier to use than the padlock
  • Cons:  You can lose the keys.

Experience:   I like the key lock system by Dakine better than their padlock system because it's easier to use. Doesn't take as much time to unlack as the combo padlock does. The only problem is you have to cut it when you lose the keys. Cheap enough that it's not that big of a deal though.
"Wife loves this jacket" 2/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 686 Smarty Loot Womens
  • Pros:  Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof
  • Description:  WEATHER: Spring Day, Blue Bird Powder Day, Sleet,

Experience:   I bought this for my wife for christmas and she loves it. The removable liner on the 686 Smarty Loot women's jacket makes it so that she can wear it on a cold day with the liner or just wear the liner by itself on a warmer day. The jacket is more form fitting than other jackets she has worn so it looks a lot better on her too.
"Perfect backpack" 2/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Dakine Heli
  • Pros:  Lightweight. Just the right size for the mountain.
  • Cons:  None.

Experience:   I love the Dakine Heli backpack. I can fit everything I need into it and ride comfortably down the mountain. Fits snug on my back and does hinder my snowboarding at all. It isn't like I'm taking a lot of crap on the mountain anyway so it's just the right size for what I need it for. A few protein bars and a couple water bottles and we're good to go.
"Best. Goggles. Ever." 2/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Von Zipper Bushwick
  • Pros:  Light weight, durable, great ventilation. I love these goggles.
  • Cons:  None

Experience:   The Von Zipper Bushwick goggles are amazing. Extremely flexible and lightweight. The strap fits nice and they don't squeeze your nose like other goggles. Fit great just around the eyes without obstructing your vision or pressing your nose.
"Wish sierra had more von zipper merch..." 2/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Von Zipper Dojo Replacement Lens
  • Pros:  Von zipper brand. Great quality.
  • Cons:  Bad selection

Experience:   I have Von Zipper goggles and I love them. These inserts are exactly what I need when the goggles get scratched when I biff it on the mountain. I just wish Sierra had a larger selection of Von Zipper merchandise.
"Looks good" 2/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2006 Special Blend Leather
  • Pros:  Looks sick. Wears well.
  • Cons:  Stretches kind of fast.

Experience:   I don't tighten my belt too much and it seemed like this belt still stretched out a little too fast. The leather is kind of soft for a good sturdy belt. The special blend leather belt is a good belt for the price though.
"Works well" 2/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Dakine Cool Lock
  • Pros:  Keeps board locked up safe.
  • Cons:  None

Experience:   I use this just to make it a little more difficult for the a-hole that wants to steal my board. Hopefully with this lock my board will get passed by just because the thief doesn't want to mess with it. Has worked so far, but I have no idea if anyone has even tried to steal my board. So I guess it's doing the job.
"Very nice helmet" 2/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 RED Trace
  • Pros:  Protects your head...that's most important. Great fit, keeps ears warm, can be used for skating too.
  • Cons:  None I can think of.

Experience:   Cracked the back of my head on a sweet jump a while ago and probably could have died without this helmet. Could still feel the hit, but no permanent damage. The RED trace snowboard helmet can definitely take a beating.
"Works well" 2/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Dakine Spike
  • Pros:  Great hold. Looks nice.
  • Cons:  A little big. Very sharp.

Experience:   This Dakine Spike stomp pad looks good on my board. It works very well and has held for a long time. Doesn't show any signs of wear and I've beat the hell out of it.
"K2 P.O.S." 2/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 K2 Gyrator
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Powder
  • Cons:  Too stiff, Heavy, Low quality

Experience:   K2 boards just aren't the best boards around and the K2 Gyrator is no exception. I'm kinda pissed that K2 bought out Ride because I love ride boards. Hopefully the K2 quality goes up rather than Ride's quality going down. This board is too stiff. Works ok for all mountain but is a P.O.S. when it comes to the park.

I would be curious to know what type of conditions you ride in when taking your review into consideration. Thanks

"Similar to LX" 2/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Ride RX
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Adjustability, Easy in & out, Boot hold, Durable, Comfortable, Well known brand
  • Cons:  Heavy
  • Fit:  fits fine

Experience:   The Ride RX is a great set of bindings. If you want to save a little money, I'd go for the Ride LX. The RX and LX perform the same but the LX is technically an entry level binding. I have used both and can't tell a difference. For the price, I'll stick to the LX. These are great bindings though. They aren't difficult to install and have a huge set of adjustments to give you a perfect fit. Easy in and out. The ratchet can stick on the way out sometimes but not too bad.
"Hot pants..." 2/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 686 Smarty Lowrise Womens
  • Pros:  Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof
  • Description:  WEATHER: Blue Bird Powder Day, Cloudy and Cold, Cold and Blustery Day, Snow and Rain Mixed, LEG: Relaxed, WAIST: Feels too small, INSEAM: Feels true to length,

Experience:   My wife has these pants and she looks hot in them. She says they're the best pants she's had, plus the make her ass look great. They fit very well. Because they are low rise, she gets snow in her crack when she biffs it in the powder. No complaints though.
"Awesome beanie" 2/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Analog Townsend Visor
  • Pros:  Looks great. turns heads. Keeps your head warm and fits like a hat instead of a beanie.
  • Cons:  Doesn't keep ears as warm as I would like

Experience:   I like the Analog Townsend Visor Beanie because it looks great and doesn't make my head itch. Most beanies are itchy but this one fits like a hat so no itch. it is a little pricey though.
"It's a beanie" 2/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2006 Forum Youngblood Visor
  • Pros:  It's a beanie. It does everything you would expect a beanie to do. Keeps your head and ears warm. Visor helps keep sun annoyance to a minimum.
  • Cons:  None. It does what it should do.

Experience:   Awesome price. Where else can you get a beanie with a visor for $5. Plus free shipping. What are you waiting for? Get one before they're gone.
"Horrible" 2/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton AK 3L Throttle
  • Cons:  Price.

Experience:   These gloves are way too expensive and really don't work very well. The Burton AK3L throttle gloves feel heavy when all of the inserts are in. They keep water out, but I'd rather wrap my hands in plastic than spend on these gloves what it costs to get a good pair of boots or bindings.
"Not as good as Ride LX" 2/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Freestyle
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Pros:  Adjustability, Comfortable, Well known brand
  • Fit:  fits fine

Experience:   The Burton Freestyle bindings are ok. A little too flexible for a beginner, but still do the trick. I would rather spend the same amount and get the Ride LX. The LX is a more durable binding that is great for beginners and will last longer. The burton freestyle is ok ofr entry level anyway.
"Beautiful board." 2/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Ride Antic
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Carving,Groomers,Jumps,Powder,Rails
  • Pros:  Durable, Easy to carve, poppy, Stable at high speeds

Experience:   I love this board and the graphics are awesome. The Ride Antic is one of the best looking boards out there and it preforms as good as it looks. Easy in and out of turns, has just enough pop. Stays smooth at high speeds. Great progression board. Comparable to the ride prophet.
"Wife's Board." 2/9/2009

  • Name: 2009 Ride Solace Womens
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Use:  Boxes,Carving,Groomers,Jumps,Powder,Rails
  • Pros:  Durable, lightweight, Easy to carve, poppy, Stable at high speeds, Popular model, Strong edgehold, Great value, Popular on mountain, Well known brand

Experience:   Awesome board. My wife has the Ride Solace and she won't use anything else. Handles great. Easy to maneuver. Nice pop, great on powder and groomers.
"Great boot." 2/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2006 Burton Freestyle
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Easy lacing, Durable, Good quality, Warm, Waterproofing, Easy in & out, Well known brand
  • Fit:  average

Experience:   Great boots. The Burton Freestyle is one of my favorite boots. I wore mine out to the point that they could no longer be used rather than buy a new set. That's how much I like them. I would recommend them to anyone. They don't have many left in stock, but if they have your size, pick them up. You won't be disappointed.
"No reviews yet? WTF!" 2/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Ride Prophet
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Carving,Groomers,Jumps,Powder,Rails
  • Pros:  Durable, lightweight, Easy to carve, poppy, Stable at high speeds, Strong edgehold, Popular on mountain, Stiff

Experience:   Two of my brothers own the Ride Prophet and I have ridden the boards plenty of times. Great boards. I think the prophet is the best of the Ride boards. Easy to use for an intermediate rider. A beginner will have a hard time staying off of their butt all day with this board. It's very slick and speeds down the mountain like no other. That same slickness will give a beginner a hard time though. Handles well in all conditions.
"Sick jacket." 2/9/2009

  • Name: 2009 Burton 3L Hybrid
  • Pros:  Breathable, Durable, Warm, Waterproof
  • Description:  WEATHER: Spring Day, Blue Bird Powder Day, Cloudy and Cold, Snow and Rain Mixed, Storming and White Out, CHEST: Feels true to size, BODY: Feels true to length, INSEAM: Feels true to length,

Experience:   Great jacket. The Burton 3L Hybrid jacket is my favorite jacket. I use it on the colder days because it is very warm. Completely waterproof and durable. The price is a bit steep, but you get what you pay for. Definitely worth every penny.
"Nice pants for the price" 2/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Poacher
  • Pros:  Breathable, Lightweight, Waterproof
  • Description:  LEG: Relaxed, WAIST: Feels true to size, INSEAM: Feels true to length,

Experience:   The Burton Poacher is a good pant for the warmer days on the slopes. Even on the colder days you can always add layers underneath. If you don't want to do that though, they are still warm enough for the spring days and warmer winter days. Lots of room and totally waterproof. Great price for someone that doesn't want to spend a lot on pants.
"Great pants." 2/9/2009

  • Name: 2009 686 Smarty Command
  • Pros:  Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof
  • Description:  WEATHER: Spring Day, Blue Bird Powder Day, Cloudy and Cold, LEG: Baggy, WAIST: Feels true to size, INSEAM: Feels true to length,

Experience:   These are really great pants. 686 makes some of the best gear and the 686 Smarty line is one of the best product lines in the 686 family. These pants fit great and look sick. Very comfortable and warm without being too heavy. And, at 30% off, you can't beat the price.
"Awesome boots." 2/9/2009

  • Name: 2009 Forum Constant
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Heel hold, Comfortable, Easy lacing, Durable, Good quality, Warm, Breathable, Waterproofing, Easy in & out, Well known brand
  • Fit:  heel is snug

Experience:   These are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. The Forum Constant is a great boot and has a decent price tag. I like the skater shoe style look and comfort. The boots are stiff but not too stiff. They have enough flex for someone that needs it. They are well padded and fit very snugg. They fit great in my Ride LX bindings. They are completely waterproof and kept my feet warm all day.
"Best. Board. Ever..." 2/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Sierra Crew
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Carving,Jumps,Powder,Rails
  • Pros:  Durable, lightweight, Easy to carve, poppy, Stable at high speeds, Strong edgehold, Great value, Soft
  • Cons:  Top sheet scratches

Experience:   Well, the best board I've ever used anyway. Finally got a chance to take the Sierra Crew out after we got a sweet storm this last weekend. Handled well in the powder and in the icier areas. Has great pop and takes jumps well. It definitely moves as fast as I need it to go and handles all mountain terrain as well as any board I've ridden. I would recommend this board for the newbie as well as for an intermediate-advanced person as it can handle anything you want to put it through.
