"BOARDSOME!" 1/4/2010
Helpful Review?   (3) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2010 Forum Youngblood
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,Halfpipe,High Speeds,Jibs,Jumps,Low Speeds,Off Trail,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Light as a feather and fast as a cougar, Soft enough for presses n tough enough for kickers, Easily tunable and repairable
  • Cons:  Weak sidewalls (that's fixable with sandpaper),

Experience:   I've been riding my 2009 Youngblood for one year now and all I can say is WOW, these boards must be built with the purpose of getting abused. and it's true... I fell onto kicker's edges, catched rail's in the wrong way, rode on top of rocks and ice blocks, fell one gazillion times and even though of that the board is still there, almost brand-new and ready to be abused even more! This board is for the rider that wants to go everywhere on the mountain and don't fear big jumps and big bails. It will fall, carve, jump, press, butter, slide off rails and do everything you want without breaking up, mine can prove it.
"Cool =/= Warm" 1/4/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Spectre
  • Pros:  Good looking, Comfortable, Grab-Happy
  • Cons:  Not warm at all, They get wet after ten minutes, They warm up after ten hours

Experience:   I've been riding with these gloves for almost one entire season and I've already had enough of them. They're not warm, they take a lot to warm up, they get instantly wet on the first run and my best friend's broke after two days. Don't buy them if you don't want to waste money.
"Popular, poppy, ultra lightweight and bloody beautiful!" 2/22/2009
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Forum Youngblood
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Carving,Groomers,Jumps,Rails
  • Pros:  Durable, lightweight, Easy to carve, poppy, Stable at high speeds, Popular model, Strong edgehold, Great value, Popular on mountain, Soft, Well known brand

Experience:   Well there is nothing much to say, whenever the youngblood comes to the park it just rips it, it is the best board you can chose to show off with your friends. It's so much lightweight you'll need to figure out if you still have it on your feet when jumping and it's a really forgiving board, be sure to size down a little and you'll be proud of it. I've seen 4 younbloods the first day I went riding with it, it's becoming so much popular that you do not want to miss this board, buy it now.
"Dakine Pyramid Studs Review" 2/22/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Dakine Pyramid Studs
  • Pros:  There is no pre-set pattern so you can customize how you're going to attatch them on your board, they hold nice when not in extreme cold conditions and they are letting you do manuals on them if you'll follow the instructions right.
  • Cons:  Could've been done little bit higher.

Experience:   Adds style to the board, check my profile photos to see what I'm talking about.
"Forum Lien Review" 2/22/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Forum Lien
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Boot hold, Comfortable, Well known brand
  • Cons:  Difficult in & out, Poor adjustability
  • Fit:  fits fine

Experience:   The lift on the back always gets up and eventually gets broken (like my left one got) or loses the sticker when you fall. The toe strap doesn't let you tighten the boot more than how much you'd do with your hands and that's a side down. They are mid weight so I wouldn't consider them either heavy or lightweight. If you're going for cheap bindings, chose these ones, if not just buy some ride bindings.
