"Great board for beginners" 3/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Feather Womens
  • Use:  Groomers,Powder
  • Pros:  Durable, lightweight, Easy to carve, poppy, Stable at high speeds, Popular model, Great value, Soft, Well known brand
  • Cons:  Top sheet scratches

Experience:   I love this board! Going from crappy rentals to this was amazing. It has great response and rides well. Since getting it I find myself riding well and falling less. I agree with the other reviews in that it does glide over ice well. It is also really light weight and has some good pop to it.
"Decent and affordable boots" 3/9/2009

  • Name: 2009 Burton Casa Womens
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Pros:  Warm, Breathable, Waterproofing, Easy in & out, Well known brand
  • Cons:  Uncomfortable
  • Fit:  average

Experience:   I bought these mostly because they were really inexpensive and looked pretty good. The fit is pretty good concerning my feet, after careful deliberation in the advice and chat room (much thanks to those who helped). The only problem that has arisen is that my calves stark to hurt at the top of the boot from walking around, otherwise everything is great. Also check out dogfunk.com's advice for lacing up boots, it helps a lot, http://www.dogfunk.com/dogfunk/dc/667/Dogfunk-Snowboard-Boot-Buyers-Guide.html
"Flow Flite 3 Review" 3/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Flow Flite 3
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Easy in & out, Comfortable, Well known brand
  • Fit:  fits fine

Experience:   These are my first pairs of bindings, so I won't be able to properly compare these to my experience with other types of bindings. That being said, I think these bindings are pretty good. Every time i go out, I am always stuck waiting for my friend to strap in. They are pretty comfy and they fit my boots perfectly (8.5 women's boots for my M/L bindings).
"Good looking gloves for spring riding" 3/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Dakine Caliber
  • Pros:  Looks great, lightweight for warmer days
  • Cons:  Gets pretty wet, runs a bit small in size

Experience:   I bought these in a size medium (I wear a medium in women's) so they would be large enough to fit over some under-gloves if necessary. I should have gotten a size large instead, because they fit really snug over the under-gloves. They are really great for spring riding, but BEWARE they will get wet.
"Great Bag, lots of space and cheap" 2/23/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Boothaus Medium Duffel Bag
  • Pros:  Lots of space, cool colors. AFFORDABLE!

Experience:   I initially purchased this bag because it was really cheap at the time, under 20 bucks. I got the cruise color scheme and it looks great. Reminds me of Saved by the Bell and the 80s. As for the space, it has got a tone of it. I thought it being a medium sized bag would just fit my boots and a little more, but I was wrong. It could definitely fit at least 2 pairs of boots, maybe three but that may push it. It has a pretty decent sized side pocket and some mesh inner pockets on the side and the top flap closure. It also has a smaller front pocket with the Burton Logo. All in all great bag, highly recommend it, after all its only about 20 bucks here.
"Pretty Good Pants" 2/17/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Society Womens
  • Pros:  Breathable, Lightweight, Warm
  • Description:  WEATHER: Spring Day, Blue Bird Powder Day, Cloudy and Cold, Cold and Blustery Day, LEG: Relaxed, WAIST: Feels true to size, INSEAM: Feels true to length,

Experience:   These pants are pretty good in my opinion. If you are on your butt all day, you may want to get a different pair of pants, these aren't the best in waterproofng. They are decent. My butt tends to get a little damp, which is not so bad when you have another layer or two, depending on how you dress underneath. It has Burton's SIG FIT, which is a bit baggy and a little too long for me, being 5'4". The waist is a tad big, but not enough for me to complain, especially if you want to fit padding and/or extra layers. I love the fact that it has a jacket to pants interface (it has a zipper running along the back that matches up to my Burton Mutiny jacket). That really helps when it comes to avoiding a draft to the behind and even snow. I think it has a sufficient amount of pockets, four: two from zippered (with a secret small and useless? inner pocket on the right side) and two velcro butt pockets. They also have two side vents for those warmer days for breathability. All in all I am quite satisfied with them. Like I said, if you require more waterproof pants, you may want to check out another style.
"Comfy socks" 2/14/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Burton Fair Isle Late Release Womens
  • Pros:  Really comfortable socks. Soft and warm. Great colors and super cheap.

Experience:   I got the M/L size and they fit very snuggly, in a good way. Not as stretchy as I thought they would be. I am a size 8.5 in woman's so based on that you can gauge what size you need. Very comfortable though. Highly recommend them.
"Comfy and Awesome looking jacket" 2/13/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Mutiny Womens
  • Pros:  Breathable, Durable, Warm, Waterproof
  • Description:  WEATHER: Spring Day, Blue Bird Powder Day, Cloudy and Cold, Cold and Blustery Day, Storming and White Out, CHEST: Feels true to size, BODY: Feels true to length, INSEAM: Feels true to length,

Experience:   I bought this jacket from another site because I thought it looked rad, it was hella cheap and I love Burton jackets. Though I should have gotten a medium, the large fits OK, a bit baggy since it is Burton's SIG FIT type of jacket. It has a decent amount of pockets. It even seems to have a cell phone pocket inside of the bottom right pocket which is awesome. It also has an ID/pass pocket as well as a secret stash type pocket along the zipper line. Though I just got this jacket and have not used it extensively I can say that so far it feels pretty warm. I have had the luck of some pretty warm days thus far, so unsure how it will hold up on really cold days. I am pretty sure nothing a good layering underneath can't solve. All around great jacket, with sick colors. I got the purple an blue (azul) coloring.
