"Okay Gloves" 12/14/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Gore Gloves
  • Pros:  Nice liners,
  • Cons:  Not waterproofed well, Not very warm,

Experience:   I would say these gloves are only mediocre. Mine came with some liners, which work pretty well, but the gloves themselves are not waterproofed well and were not very warm
"Okay deal for the price" 2/10/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Space Sack Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  Durable, Holds gear,
  • Cons:  Doesn't hold much else,

Experience:   This bag is your basic board bag. There aren't a bunch of fancy pockets- just your main compartment and a small front compartment. Doesn't store much else other than your board, boots and bindings. I got a couple sizes too big so I could fit my jacket and pants in there as well. If you like to put all of your stuff in the bag for travel, then you might consider doing this.
"Great deal to protect your head" 2/10/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Smith Holt Snowboard Helmet
  • Pros:  Price, Warmth, Protection

Experience:   Got this helmet at the beginning of this season. I have a relatively small head and the small fit perfectly. Usually I wear a small, but the helmet is slightly big, so maybe take this into consideration when you're ordering. The protection is great, I have already taken a few pretty good spills. Also, a really cool feature is the compatibility with Smith/Skullcandy headphones, which will zip into the helmet liner. Overall, this helmet is an excellent deal.
"For Park!!" 2/19/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Sierra V Spot Snowboard
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Rails
  • Pros:  Amazing flex, Moderate control,
  • Cons:  Extruded Base , No good for speed,

Experience:   Won this board on the free giveaway. Tested it out the day I got it and for the next couple of days. For all mountain riding, I didn't find it that pleasurable and really it was terrible at speed. But, when I took it into the park, I fell in love. The flex is AMAZING, good for butter boxes and rails. You will boardslide like a pro in seconds. The only park features I would not do is jumps. This board is a little bit too soft for jumps.
"Good Park Bindings" 2/19/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Technine Dime Series Snowboard Bindings - Women's
  • Pros:  Pretty good response, Reasonable price,
  • Cons:  Strange sizing, Straps a little temperamental,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Taken these on a powder-ish run, an ice run, a slush run and a park run. Between the V-Spot's flex and the bindings, it didn't do very good on the powder, ice or slush, but it did excellent on the park run! Great for buttering and other park activities. As for fit, I wear a 7.5 Vans Kira and got a Large and they fit pretty well, which is a surprise because my other bindings are Smalls. My only other complaint is the strap get stuck in the lock in position and you have to fiddle with it for a bit to get the bindings off.
"Pretty good headphones" 1/31/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 2XL Spoke Earbuds
  • Pros:  Looks cool, pretty good sound quality, better than skullcandies
  • Cons:  falls apart easily, but don't break,

Experience:   These headphones are pretty good. They are cheap enough and have pretty good sound quality. They fall apart kind of easy, but they don't break super fast. I would recommend these headphones, they are pretty solid
"Solid Bindings, Great Feel" 1/26/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Escapade EST Snowboard Bindings - Women's
  • Pros:  Excellent Feel, Infinite Positioning, Adjustable concerning size
  • Cons:  Run a Little Small,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   These bindings are great! They have an amazing feel and are adjustable to accommodate just about any foot size/shape or rider stance. My only complaint is that the bindings do run a little small, as my boots should have been in the mid range for the bindings and I have them set on the biggest settings. Other than that, excellent!
"Awesome Jacket" 1/19/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Volcom Mod Collage Hydro Fleece Women's
  • Pros:  Warm Material, Comfortable, Cool Design
  • Fit:  Too small
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  S
  • Description:  A little small, just went one size up

Experience:   There jackets are really comfortable. Got it so I could have a low profile jacket to wear under my jacket while still being warm. This definitely does the job. I would recommend it to everyone.
"Excellent Base Layer" 1/19/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Mid Layer First Layer Pants Men's
  • Pros:  Warm, Comfortable,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  S
  • Description:  Perfect fit

Experience:   Saw a pair of these on sale, so I thought I might as well get them for my upcoming Canada trip. Wasn't expecting much from it because it was such a deep discount, so I thought something was wrong. These ended up being super warm and comfortable, perfect base layer. It was rough or itchy like some base layers, just perfect!
"Amazing Sandals" 1/4/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Reef Fanning Sandals Men's
  • Pros:  Good traction, Can Opener!, Comfortable Design
  • Cons:  None,

Experience:   These sandals are amazing for any activities that don't require tennis shoes. I have worn these long boarding, on the beach, walking around town ect. and they are comfortable and don't slip and slide like other shoes. Fantastic!
"Perfect" 12/10/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Emblem
  • Pros:  Warm!, Perfect length, Perfect size
  • Cons:  None,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  S

Experience:   These socks are great. I love Burton, not once have I gotten a poorly made product by them. These socks are extremely warm and take away the need for layering. They are perfect for going out all day, and your toes won't feel frozen when you get inside!
"Warm, just baggy" 12/10/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Special Blend Utility Snowboard Jacket
  • Pros:  Warm, Waterproofed well, Lots of pockets
  • Cons:  Baggy,
  • Jacket Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  L

Experience:   This jacket has pockets EVERYWHERE! I have never run out of room for the stuff I need, and it is relatively warm. The only issue I had was that it was a very baggy fit.
"Does its job" 12/10/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Poacher Snowboard Pant
  • Pros:  Good waterproofing, Semi-warm,
  • Cons:  Very baggy,
  • Pant Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Baggy fit

Experience:   These pants are pretty good. They do run a little big. They are also extremely baggy. But, they are waterproofed well (haven't noticed any leaks which I'm basing on my sweatpants) and the pockets are protected pretty well, so you can put electronics in them if you wish. They are somewhat warm, but need extra layering anywhere its below like 25 degrees. I usually wear a pair of sweatpants under them and are fine. Overall, good pants!
"I LOVE this hat" 12/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Neff Daily Beanie - Men's
  • Pros:  Warm, Amazing looking,
  • Cons:  Big,
  • Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Big at first, shrinks in the wash

Experience:   I used to be a long time customer of Fallen hats (skateboarding) and I wear my hat literally every day. Since they stopped making the black and white hats, I decided to switch to the Neff since it was cheap, sold nearby and the pattern I wanted. At first, it was a little big, but eventually I put it in the dryer and it shrunk a bit. The hat is amazing warm (no more cold ears!)! I would recommend it to anyone!
"Amazing! Saves your head!" 12/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Giro G10
  • Pros:  Adjustable, Warm, Tough
  • Cons:  Hot sometimes,

Experience:   During the spring, this gets a little warm, but otherwise, its great. I've come off the mountain with skid marks and even one time a dent on this thing and I didn't feel it on my head at all! It is completely adjustable, and I can even fit one or two hats under it no problem. Sometimes my goggles fall off of this, but I don't have a problem with it since it protects my head!
"Excellent!" 12/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Dakine Tour Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  Durable, Lots of room,
  • Cons:  none!,

Experience:   This bag has room for everything- I stick all of my clothing for a three day weekend, boots, bindings, board, ect. all in this bag with room to spare. The only problem is the weight adds up, but if you can carry it, you can put a lot of stuff in here! It takes a beating too, with just enough padding to protect your board.
"Alright" 12/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Skullcandy GI Stereo Headphones
  • Pros:  Great sound quality, Cool look.,
  • Cons:  Warranty sucks, Pricey,

Experience:   These were my last purchase from Skullcandy. They are FANTASTIC until they break. The sound quality is simply amazing, blocks out the surroundings, and the headphones look cool. They also have a bottle opener hidden in the headphones. Unfortunately, after a year the extension pieces for the headphones crack and break, leaving the actually ear pieces dangling. Even if you have a small head (I do) and don't use the extension pieces, they break. They are not good at all at following through with their warranties. I do not recommend this brand in genearl
"Not worth it" 12/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Skullcandy Ink'd Earbuds
  • Pros:  None,
  • Cons:  Breaks, Sound Quality, Bad Warranties

Experience:   I have gone through the Skullcandy product list, and I found these to be the worst out of all of their headphones. The sound quality is not good at all, it breaks within a couple of months, and as I said in another review, Skullcandy stops responding to warranty requests under your name after one request. Luckily, I got these for free at the Zumiez Couch Tour, so I didn't waste my money on them, but I would not recommend anyone purchase these. There are cheaper headphones on the market that provide the same sound quality and are more durable.
"Not recomended" 12/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Skullcandy Smokin Buds Earbuds
  • Pros:  Great sound quality,
  • Cons:  Breaks easy, Bad warranty,

Experience:   Unfortunately, I would not recommend these headphones. They are great while they last, but they only seem to last about a year. After that, one of the ear buds goes out and after another month they completely break. After getting your first pair replaced, Skullcandy will not respond to warranty requests under the same name. We went through all of my family's names and finally gave up on the brand.
"Great Bag!" 12/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Metalhead Backpack Men's
  • Pros:  Durable, Pockets galore,

Experience:   This bag is simply great! I have never had a bag that I use so much that has lasted this long. It is an amazing bag that is durable and has a lot of room with a lot of pockets, so you can store practically anything you want.
"Great Board" 11/8/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton GTwin Snowboard Women's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Park,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  Great All Around, Price,
  • Cons:  Flex not as good as expected,

Experience:   The flex on this board is a little weak, so some tricks are difficult to do, but it is a great board for all mountain and holds its ground well in the park. The price is great and is definitely a good investment!
"Burton Bindings" 11/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Escapade EST Womens
  • Pros:  Highly adjustable, Good fit with the boots, Relatively good price
  • Cons:  Strap in is hard at first,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   My favorite part of these bindings has to be the how adjustable they are coupled with the Burton ICS system. Pretty much any adjustment you need whether it be more distance between the bindings or a greater angle compared to the board, you can make the adjustments. You can also adjust the straps in terms of length and such, which makes it fit your boot the best possible. It holds the boots in very well without losing its grip in my experience. The only problem is the stiffness of the straps at first, which is cured after using them a couple times.
"Excellent Boots" 11/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Vans Kira Womens
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Easy to put on an off, Easy Lacing, Great Waterproof, Traction
  • Cons:  Pretty stiff, needs some breaking in,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  stiff
  • Shoe Size:  7
  • Boot Size:  7.5

Experience:   Overall, I find them as a great boot. I love the lacing system. No more laces flying all over the place and tripping you up! I also found them to be pretty warm. They are pretty well insulated, but I still need to wear two pairs of socks. The traction is great as well, preventing you from slipping. Overall, I can't say I've used a better boot, although I've only used 3 pairs before this. I highly recommend them!
