"Love the Bluetooth tuneups" 2/17/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Giro G10 Wireless Audio Snowboard Helmet Men's
  • Pros:  adjustability, Bluetooth tuneups, vents
  • Cons:  bluetooth volume low, tuneups large profile,

Experience:   Love this helmet, well built, the adjustable dial is awesome for a perfect fit. The bluetooth tune ups are pretty awesome too, I liked how giro included a DJ headset so you can use them without the helmet. the only con i can think of is the tuneups are a bit bulky, and they don't look so appealing when being worn on the helmet. Also the volume is pretty low, and no bluetooth adapter was included, but not a HUGE issue for me. all in all i think the helmet was pretty great, you can use the bluetooth headset with gloves on no problem and linking up to my iphone was a breeze.
"Warm & Comfortable" 12/20/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Dakine Team Fillmore Mittens - Men's
  • Pros:  Warm, Cheap, low profile
  • Cons:  No Wrist strap,

Experience:   great pair of mittens. I saw these on sale and instantly bought them. I'm done with gloves, mittens are definitely the way to go. These pair are super comfortable and keep my fingeres extremely toasty, maybe even a little too hot at some points. The only con I can say about this pair is that there are no wrist straps like some other pairs of gloves. I was always afraid of taking them off on the lift for fear of dropping them, other than that, I can't say anything about about this pair. HIGHLY recommended
"Good slim fit pants" 2/25/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Access Snowboard Pants Men's
  • Pros:  slim fit, water resistant, stylish
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  very... slim fit

Experience:   These pants are great if you're looking for a smaller profile pants for snowboarding. they look like everyday pants (except the colors) and look nice when not boarding. They look a tad odd when I am boarding though, they might be a little too slim fit for the snowboard look. My boots are fairly wide so the pants dont slip over them too well, and Also you cant wear any kind of padding underneith. I also have the Burton access jacket, and these pants are much more slimming compared to the fit of the jacket, if it were a tad baggier theyd be perfect for me. but if none of those factors matter to you, they work great.
"AWESOME FIT AND LOOKING JACKET" 2/25/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Access Snowboard Jacket
  • Pros:  fitting, warm, pants to jacket interface
  • Cons:  not as many pockets,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  very 'fitting'

Experience:   AWESOME jacket. my favorite snowboarding jacket by far. It is pretty warm with burtons insulation. I love the way it fits, I've always had trouble with finding good snowboarding jackets for me, they're either too baggy, or too short. This one was awesome, and coupled with burton pants snow doesnt ride up my back or behind if i take a spill in the powder. Only downside is there aren't as many pockets as some of the other jackets, and there's no real location for the lift ticket to go onto (not a big deal). I highly recommend these for the boarder who doesnt want such a baggy load.
"great stylish shoes" 1/13/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Gravis Slymz Skate Shoes Men's
  • Pros:  style, comfort,
  • Cons:  price,

Experience:   I love my gravis slymz. I don't skate, so I cant rate them on performance but I like the van's style skate shoe. Except I didn't like how thick the rubber sole was on the side on the vans, that's I started looking and found these gravis shoes. thought I do like the look and its build quality is good, the price tag seemed a little hefty. If you can find these babies on sale, they're worth it.
"HUGE with NO grip" 1/13/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2005 Dakine Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  stylish,
  • Cons:  no grip, too large,

Experience:   this only cost me $3, but it was $3 I should NOT have spent. The stomp pad does not do its job, there is no grip when your boots and board become covered in water or snow. I only bought it because I thought it looked cool... that was until it arrived and I discovered that the thing was 3x as large as I thought it was. save yourself the trouble and avoid this product.
"good cheap bag" 1/13/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Space Sack Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  quality, cheap,
  • Cons:  does not have any pockets,

Experience:   this is a decent bag, if all you want to do is stuff your board and maybe your boots into it. the only downer is that burton hasnt included any kind of accessories pouch, which can get annoying if I want to keep tools, wax etc in my gear bag.
"Decent Boots for Beginners" 1/12/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Freestyle Snowboard Boots
  • Pros:  Cheap, comfortable, build quality
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  11
  • Boot Size:  11

Experience:   I personally liked these boots, they were the first pair that I got for my snowboard. they are relatively soft compared to my 32 boots, which have pros and cons, such as actually getting my foot inside the boots. Great as a pair of first boots for the user with less funds.
"ANOTHER GREAT PRODUCT BY BURTON" 1/12/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Emblem
  • Pros:  WARM, CHEAP, STYLISH
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  PERFECTION

Experience:   another great pair of socks by burton, kept my feet warm and dry all winter long. I highly recommend it, full retail is a bit pricey for sock, but wait for the sales and they become the best $ you'll spend on snowboard clothing all season!
"SUPER WARM SOCKS" 1/12/2011

  • Fit:  Just right

Experience:   super warm socks, they kept my toesies warm all winter long, it's my second season using them and I love them. Might have to buy another pair ;)
"these smiths really are PHENOMs" 1/11/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Smith Phenom Goggles Men's
  • Pros:  anti fog, lens, fit

Experience:   GREAT goggles. I've always had issues with fit, comfort, antifog, and lenses for snowboarding goggles. I've gone through about 4 pairs before getting to these. everything from the air vents, to the sensor lens, to the view range is perfect for me. A little on the more expensive side, but I'd say these are better than the Oakley A-Frames. But to each his own, these were my favorite pair of goggles.
"Good set of Gloves" 1/11/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton GoreTex Gloves
  • Pros:  weatherproof, extra liner, straps
  • Cons:  fingers still get cold sometimes,

Experience:   These are a pretty good set of gloves, I love how the design of it allows for sinching over my jacket. Which is perfect since I always manage to get snow in them whenever I go boarding. The only down side i'd say is they still don't keep my fingers completely warm, but that might just be me. I'd still recommend these gloves to anyone who wants good waterproof gloves for snowboarding.
"Great pants for the average rider." 1/11/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Cargo Snowboard Pants Men's
  • Pros:  pockets, weather proof,
  • Pant Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  XL
  • Description:  like most snowboarding pants, these fit baggy and larger than the size guide

Experience:   Great pants, I had some issues with some of my other snowboard pants where the water would get through the weatherproofing. But the Burton cargo's 10k weatherproof rating did the job. I haven't had issues with wet behinds or such since using these pants. the only down side is the sizing guide was a bit misleading and the size I purchased fit a bit too large, but that's not too much of a big issue. Before buying these pants I do suggest trying them on in the stores though! overall great pants.
"CARTELS FTW" 1/11/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Cartel Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  customization, responsiveness,
  • Cons:  Price,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   These bindings are the by far the best binding's I've ever owned. Their responsiveness is just amazing, truly worth its pricetag. Even as a beginner when I first got them, I could instantly tell the difference between them and the cheaper models. if you're looking for a responsive bindings with the ability for custom adjustments, look no further, the cartels are here.
