"Icons!" 12/22/2010
Helpful Review?   (4) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Technine Icon Series Snowboard Bindings White/Gold Mismatch Men's
  • Pros:  Super Durable, High Quality, Comfortable
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I rode these bindings this season and didn't have single problem that wasn't caused by myself. On the third time this season I left the highback up when getting on the lift and the lift broke it. Since technine is so awesome they gave me a new one no questions asked. I got the black ones to go with my mass appeal board and it looks out of control. Overall these are mid stiffness, all around great quality when it comes to what you need for bindings. They are lightweight, and I am definitely liking their new lineup for this year. Definitely take a look at this company for bindings!
"Element Button Down" 12/27/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Element August L/S Shirt Men's
  • Pros:  Super Durable, Comfortable / FITS PERFECT!,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M

Experience:   I love this shirt. It's comfortable, and breathes very well. I even wore it to play one of my acoustic gigs, and I didn't sweat at all. It's crazy since it definitely isn't very lightweight,.. but it breathes so well! And in the winter time, a quick layer underneath warms me up just fine. Definitely recommend it to keep ya warm and nice and comfy!
"Sessions Thermal Top" 12/27/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Sessions Diffusion Crew Top
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Keeps ya Dry & Warm!,
  • Cons:  Sizing is a little Small,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  S

Experience:   The quality of this garment is good but the sizing was off. I have a the M size and it was way tight under my arms and around my shoulders. I know baselayers are supposed to be snug bit this didnt allow for much freedom of movement. So buy a size up from what you think you should get. I have the bottoms and they fit right and are good. had em out in -3 degree weather today under a suit and they kept me warm
"Dakine Pant Thermals" 12/27/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Dakine Lightweight Apex Pants
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Very Warm - And Dry, Great price for what you get!
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M

Experience:   All in all, I'm very glad I picked these up. I just took a trip to Switzerland and wore these almost every day. They do a good job of distributing the warmth and letting out extra heat if it gets too warm. Never too hot, never too cold. They also stay in place very well, which Ive had trouble with in the past. Excellent product, I definitely recommend these!!
"Tubbs Xplore" 12/26/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Tubbs Xplore Snowshoes
  • Pros:  Super Durable, Lightweight,

Experience:   The simple foot straps make these shoes a breeze to get into when its time to hit the snow trails. The durable construction will stand up to any trail. I am a huge fan off Tubbs, all of their products are built super well, I am definitely looking forward to getting another pair for my brother. I can't image hiking without these... if you have snowshoed before, definitely spend a day and see for yourself how awesome it is!
"Micro Lock" 12/26/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Dakine Micro Lock
  • Pros:  Durable, Lightweight, Great price for what you get!
  • Cons:  Not Very Thick & Secure,

Experience:   This lock was very easy to use and, when not in use, practically unfeelable in my pocket, it's just so small and light! Very convenient for those like me who worry when they leave their snowboard out too long. Or if you have OCD with locks and security, this definitely puts your mind at ease since at least it is some protection against those thieves.
"IO Goggs" 12/26/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Smith IO Snowboard Goggles - Men's
  • Pros:  Super Durable, Comfortable / FITS PERFECT!, Swapping Lenses is a breeze!
  • Cons:  Absolutely None!,

Experience:   Besides the amazing style and look, the best part of these goggles is the ease and ability to change out the lenses. Living near the mountains now, the weather constantly changes. There's nothing better than being able to change your lens in less than 10 seconds before you head up, then carry an extra lens with you in case the weather changes. They also have a money fit. I definitely recommend these... definitely worth the money,.. some of the highest quality of goggles around!
"Starter Kit" 12/23/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Deluxe Starter Kit
  • Pros:  Super Durable, High Quality,
  • Cons:  Price,

Experience:   The bullet is a must. So compact. Its great to have so you dont have to wait for some other boarder to finish using the rusted screwdriver at the mountain, which is too small any way and will strip the screws on your bindings. This comes with 2 sizes of phillips head, flat head and hexagon srewdrivers (?), allen wrench, and position switch to tighten, loosen, or keep neutral while you use it. To be honest, I dont think I would spend $40 on all this stuff. I picked up the bullet for $5, and the lock for like $10. I dont really use the other stuff. Stomp pad, leash, it may be neccessary for beginners, but for anyone else, I really don't think everything in this kit would be worth the price, you probably already have most the stuff in it.
"Fleece Jacket" 12/22/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Foursquare Covert Fullzip Fleece Hoodie Men's
  • Pros:  Stylish, Breaths well, Very Durable
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M

Experience:   This jacket is an instant favorite. The dark color is a subtle greenish shade of gray and the cut and look of the piece is very casual. The construction appears to be top notch all around and the Medium size fits my 145 frame perfectly. I went out for a trek in the snowy winter woods today in 30 degree weather with nothing more than a t-shirt and a thin merino wool shirt on beneath this thing and I was toasty, warm and dry. Even standing around taking photos of the ice fishermen on the windy lake became a pleasant affair. I definitely highly recommend this jacket, it's awesome!!
"Esquire Jacket" 12/22/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Esquire
  • Pros:  All Around Great Quality for All Conditions, Warm and Keeps ya dry!, Super Comfortable

Experience:   I purchased the Bright White last season, and so far this is my go-to jacket for most days. Extremely happy with my purchase. Even though I chose the 7-10 day free shipping option, it actually shipped out the very next day and was delivered just 3 days after I clicked the buy button. As for the jacket, its very nice. I already tried it on in a brick and mortar store so I knew what I was getting. As mentioned, the stripes on the Bright White are rainbow colored. From a distance, they look like normal pinstripes, but up close, you can see the colors. Its subtle, yet funky - which is why I chose this jacket. Also, very warm, dry, and very comfortable!!
"Wigwam Socks" 12/21/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Wigwam Merino Comfort Hiker Socks
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Very Durable, Keeps your feet VERY warm
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  M

Experience:   These are hands down the best socks Ive ever put on my stinky feet. If it were socially acceptable Id even wear them in the summer at the beach because I love them so much. Keep your toes toasty and more-or-less un-smelly with these. Great comfort, great performance, great sock. Good? Great for boarding, hiking, or just walking around down around the town!
"Essential For Warmth" 12/21/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Waffle First Layer Polo
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Doesn't Smell Bad - Great Material!, Keeps you Dry and Warm!!!
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M

Experience:   This waffle polo w/ dryride tech is great for riding all day, everyday, where it doesn't get too cold where you would need AK stuff or anything too crazy warm. This is super comfortable, fits great, and definitely works like it says, it doesn't smell! Great value overall, I highly recommend these for any day or riding.
"Vent Pants" 12/21/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Vent Snowboard Pants Men's
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Very Durable, Keeps you Dry and Warm!!!
  • Cons:  None!!,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M

Experience:   These pants were great because they were the best bang for the buck... Unfortunately when I received them I had ordered Medium when I should have ordered a Large. I usually wear pants with waist size 32-34 and these pants were too tight. I had tried on similar Burton pants at a store and the mediums were perfect (even loose). Ultimately, I returned these and purchased some Burton Mens Shelter Gore-Tex Pant. They are awesome, I always stay dry and they have awesome vents. I highly recommend the Men's Shelter pant or even the vent pant if you don't want to spend so much.
"Dakine Wax" 12/20/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Dakine Nitrous Wax 3oz
  • Pros:  All Around Great Quality for All Conditions, Lasts Long,
  • Cons:  none!,

Experience:   Works great for keeping your bases moist and fast (for all u non racers). I use it (cold or all temp) to get me through the flats or out the traverse with a little more ease a quickness. Also lasts like most other waxes, if not a little longer. I definitely recommend this stuff!
"The Bullet" 12/20/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Bullet Snowboard Tool
  • Pros:  Easy to Use, Lightweight, Durable

Experience:   This was my first season carrying a tool with me on the mountain. I'd always just taken tuning stations for granted in the past. I must have had some kind of premonition cause I used this thing over a dozen times this year. Twice on myself when bindings loosened up mid run, the rest of the times were when others in my group needed it. If nothing else, be the one that carries the tool on the mountain for anyone else. One negative though, my heads took on some serious rust after a few uses. Be sure to take the bits out, dry 'em off, and store them somewhere that will keep the rust from developing.
"Burton Bonded" 12/20/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Bonded Wordmark Fleece Men's
  • Pros:  Comfortable, High Quality, Keeps you Warm and Dry!
  • Cons:  Cost,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M

Experience:   Nice sweatshirt, very comfortable. Haven't washed it yet to know if it will shrink or whatnot...I hope not because it fits perfectly the way it is. I purchased it to be worn on the mountain, but it also works going out or walking around the town. Burton just makes great products made to work and last!
"Bindings" 12/17/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2011 Forum Republic Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Super Durable, High Quality, Super Comfortable
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I picked these up for my new board for this season and also as backups or replacements in case my old Burtons fail me (screws keep coming loose). They may just become my #1 bindings. Even if I cant ride them yet I still opened up the box and made sure they survived shipping and would fit my boots (mens size 11 burton, medium binding).I am extremely impressed with the quality of these bindings. The straps are snugly and securely attached, everything takes a bit of force to move. These things dont feel flimsy or floppy. Once I had the footbed lengthened and straps approximately located, I put the boot on and strapped in with my foot in the boot. Man these bindings are plush. I tightened them down as much as I could and didnt feel an pressure points, unlike my old bindings. These things lock you down but dont seem to punish you for it.I cant wait to ride these this winter.

what model and year are your burton boots?

"Hail Boots" 12/17/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Hail Snowboard Boots Men's
  • Pros:  Super Durable, Comfortable / FITS PERFECT!, Great price for what you get!
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  11
  • Boot Size:  11

Experience:   Overall these are definitely excellent boots. I Took em up to whistler during christmas and they were fantastic through all the rough runs and moguls. great control, very warm, very comfy. just dont tie them too tight. took me a day or so to break em in but after that they were fantastic. not sure wat everyone says about how flexible they are though...dont be mistaken, these are FREERIDE boots, which means they are pretty stiff. sure they flex, but by NO MEANS are the freestyle flexible boots. if u buy these, u better my some med-strong stiff bindings (i got burton c60s) otherwise your jus settin urself back. once again, these are not for the park or any freestyle, they jus dont flex that much. but other than that, they are FANTASTIC boots, DEFINATELY worth the price tag.let me know if u got any questions.

"Cargo Pants" 12/17/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Cargo Snowboard Pants Men's
  • Pros:  Great Fit - Comfortable, Durable, Super Waterproof
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M

Experience:   I really like these pants, but the inseam is way too short, unless you wear them hanging completely off your butt?!? I'm pretty big and need a medium waist and a tall length. The Burton site was completely sold out of the talls, so I ordered from TruSnow and got a great price[...]. Way better than going through Burton direct. Even worse, is the fact that...going up a size only gives you an extra inch in the length, but adds 2-4 inches around. So, us tall guys with an athletic build are out of luck! You'd think Burton would get a clue when they make these in a tall length and they all sell out on their site, but they have plenty of the regulars left...hmmmmm. Love 'em, but wish they were longer.
