"Best jacket ever" 4/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 686 Smarty Nouvue Snowboard Jacket Women's
  • Pros:  Waterproof and warm, Cute liner, Fits perfect... roomy but fitted
  • Cons:  None,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Roomy but fitted... long sleeves!

Experience:   I wanted a warmer jacket and it's perfect. I ordered the jacket in Storm Plaid and have got tons of compliments. It has cool pockets everywhere for your phone, your goggles, etc. I ordered it in large. I'm small up top but have big hips so I needed a jacket that would be long enough and still fit around them. It's perfect. The sleeves are super long though... I might even get them tailored. Anyone will love this jacket.
"Great pant for the price" 3/9/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 686 Mannual Bliss Insulated Womens
  • Pros:  Value - price for the quality, Great girly fit, Insulated, waterproof, and warm
  • Cons:  Haven't found any!,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Like a great pair of jeans... bootcut, cute rear view

Experience:   I'm just over 5'10 and 150lbs... I was worried the pants were going to be to small or too short and was contemplating buying an XL because of the 686 size chart. Really glad I didn't! The fit is perfect... long enough; roomie enough so I can wear a thermal underneath for cold days; waist isn't too high that I feel like a grandma or too low that I'll get snow down my pants when riding pow. The pockets are in the right place and really make the pant look cool. The orchid color is a little more purple-ish than the picture. The zippers are great and you can tell it's a high quality pant for the price. It's got the waist loops so you can attach a jacket, pockets for everything you need, and waist snaps that act as a nice belt if you need a tighter fit. Can't go wrong with this pant.
"Great jacket, but not for me" 3/3/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 686 Smarty Atrium Snowboard Jacket
  • Pros:  Great fit, Cute vest, Color is true to picture (Raspberry)
  • Cons:  Just a shell with a vest... ,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Nice, flattering fit... not to bulky.

Experience:   I ordered this jacket in Raspberry. The color was amazing, and the quality was right up there with what I expected from 686. I called to double check that this jacket was insulated (doesn't specify insulated or shell in the description) and was told it was... so I bought it. It's not insulated... or at least not my idea of insulated. It's a shell (one layer of waterproof fabric) with a removable vest (guess that's the insulation). I was looking for something a bit warmer. If you are looking for a lighter Spring boarding jacket for warmer weather, it is a great jacket and you won't be dissapointed. If you are looking for something to layer with and for colder weather, don't bother.
"The glove is gonna be great... once I get the right size." 3/3/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Gore Under Womens
  • Pros:  Warm and stylish, Removable liner for those cold days, Waterproof
  • Cons:  Very tight fit, Hard to get the liner in,

Experience:   I bought these gloves in a medium. When I tried it on at home I could hardly get my hand with the liner on, into the glove itself. Once I did, I couldn't move my fingers one bit. After a couple minutes, my hand was sweating... so I know that once I get the new size they are going to be warm as anything. I ordered it in Black Gridline print... the print is stylish and subtle, and will go with just about anything. The insert is a teal color and has grip on it so when I do need to de-glove, I can still pull out my camera or chapstick without my hands falling off from the cold. It a nice glove, because in warmer weather you can go without the insert and still have warm, dry hands.
"No pressure points... hard to get in/out" 1/10/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Stiletto Womens
  • Pros:  Look good, lightweight, solid make,
  • Cons:  Difficult to get in/out, When frozen, ratchet gets jammed,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I've been riding with these for a while. I love the toe cap which really relieves the pressure on the top of the forefoot compared to other bindings I've used. Really responsive. They are tought to get in and out of efficiently and when it gets real cold and frozen on the mountain, the ratchet/teeth from the stap get kind of bound up. Overall though, great binding.
