"Awesome boots" 3/18/2010
Helpful Review?   (3) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Hail
  • Pros:  Well cushioned, Easy Lacing,
  • Cons:  Pressure on top of my foot,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  11.5
  • Boot Size:  11

Experience:   I just got these and took them out for a last run of the season. First thing you notice is how cushioned it feels. The only issue I had was the pressure on the top of foot. After loosening up the laces around the top box it felt great. So far so good. I like these boots.
"NIce bag" 4/19/2009
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Space Sack Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  NIce bag. Plenty of space
  • Cons:  Not padded.

Experience:   For the price it's a pretty good bag. it has plenty of room to fit a board and bindings, boots and some gear you need to bring. I don't think it'll be great to use this bag traveling on planes.
"Cool jacket" 4/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Poacher
  • Pros:  Style , Burton Jacket feature package,
  • Jacket Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Room for layering

Experience:   I wanted a jacket for drier days to compliment my heavy analog jacket. I wasn't disappointed with this purchase. It kept me warm and relatively dry. Loved the design on the jacket and the ability zip my jacket onto my pants to keep the snow out. I got it at a good price and I'm glad I picked it up.
"Great looking jacket " 3/22/2009
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Analog Deploy System
  • Pros:  Breathable, Durable, Warm, Waterproof
  • Description:  WEATHER: Blue Bird Powder Day, Cloudy and Cold, Cold and Blustery Day, CHEST: Feels true to size, BODY: Feels true to length, INSEAM: Feels true to length,

Experience:
"Keep your dome safe" 3/13/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Red Mutiny Snowboard Helmet
  • Pros:  Good fit,
  • Cons:  venting system,

Experience:   I love the simple design of the helmet. The fit feels great and it definitely does its job. I've crashed a few times and the helmet has saved me from some possible concussions. The helmet is pretty scratched up but still fully intacted. The only real issue I have with the helmet is the venting system. I tend to get really hot under the helmet even in colder conditions. I would still recommend this product though.
"Love these goggles!" 3/13/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Oakley Splice Goggles Jet Black/Black Iridium
  • Pros:  field of vision, comfort,

Experience:   I've been riding all season with these goggles and love them. It fits a med to large face. It allows for better peripheral vision. It is very comfortable. The awesome thing about the lens is it is tinted where it is needed most and toward the bottom edges its clear. I find it awesome for spotting things in front of you when needed. Definitely check these out.
"OK boardbag" 3/13/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Gig Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  design,
  • Cons:  size, lack of compartments,

Experience:   I was a little bit disappointed when I got the bag. The lack of compartments for my gear was a disappointing. There really is only a front pocket and even that isn't segmented. Haven't had any issues with durability so thats a bonus. I got the bag for cheap so I cant complain.
"Great Bindings" 3/13/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Union Force
  • Pros:  Adjustability, Comfort,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   These bindings are great for all mtn riding. The minimal contact of the binding allows for good board flex. The straps are comfortable and keep the boots locked in tight. It's so easy to adjust and can be done fairly quickly. The only complaint i have is you can crank the strap screws in. If you do they can come loose. Loctite usually does the job. Otherwise it's great.
"Better than park its all around" 3/13/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 GNU Park Pickle BTX
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Off Trail,Park,Powder,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Forgiving ride, Good flex, All around board
  • Cons:  Ugly topsheet,

Experience:   I was expecting a park board but ended with an all around board. Felt good at high speeds. Carving was easy. I haven't had the opportunity to ride the board in pow but I've used it in all other conditions and it feels great. It stuck in ice and plowed through slush and ungroomed trails. The flex is not as soft as other advertised park boards. Don't let the name fool you if you want a good all mtn board try this board out.
"Decent bag with decent size" 6/8/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Gig Bag
  • Pros:  Roomy,
  • Cons:  Not as much padding as expected,

Experience:   When I got the bag I was surprised at how big the bag actually was. It was roomy than what I expected from the description. I honestly think you can put more than suggested if you pack the right way. However, I am disappointed by the amount of padding there is in the bag. I thought it would be more padded but I guess you get what you pay for. It's still not to shabby but if I saw it in person I may have gone with another bag. I definitely would consider wrapping up my board and bindings with clothes before placing them in the the bag. Otherwise it's a good bag for the price I picked it up at.
"Need good goggles?" 4/27/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Dragon DX Houndstooth
  • Pros:  Warm , Anti Fog, Good vision

Experience:   If you're looking for goggles that don't fog try these on. I've rested these on top of my head for a long ride and it started fogging a bit but once i started riding again the fog cleared up instantly. The lens are easily interchangeable so if you're looking to get different lens for different conditions it's a breeze to change out. Although these aren't spherical lens they still offer pretty good vision. These are definitely for medium size faces.
"Simple but effective" 4/20/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Burton Mini Scraper Mat
  • Pros:  Clear , Simple design,

Experience:   When you put this on your board it isn't highly visible and doesn't consume the board with it's size. You can definitely feel the grip. However, I would suggest using both pads on the board to get the most grip.
"Need an iron? Get this one" 4/20/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Dakine Adjustable Tuning Iron
  • Pros:  Easy setup, Heats up fast,

Experience:   Love this iron. It heats up fast and the dial is easy to get the correct heat adjustment. Definitely gets the job done.
"Pressure relief for you knees" 4/19/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Cantbed (Mens)
  • Pros:  easy installation ,
  • Cons:  setting up angles.,

Experience:   I got these off a recommendation from a friend. I ride a wide stance and decided to give it a try. Definitely worth it. The angle it gives your knees relieves any discomfort you man have with a flat footbed. Give it a try.
"Don't get it" 4/19/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Cable Lock
  • Pros:  No Pros,
  • Cons:  All Cons,

Experience:   This thing sucked from the start. It took forever to change the combo cuz the piece wouldn't depress. Finally when I got to it work the lock the got stuck in the lock position. I've only used this thing twice before it crapped out on me. My friend had to yank it off the rack so I could get my board back. That's another thing. It was so easy to break off. If you want something safe this isn't the solution.
"Pocket Driver" 4/19/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Bullet Tool
  • Pros:  Compact, Neat storage, Convenient
  • Cons:  Little bit of rust,

Experience:   I got this tool last year and have used it for everything since. It's pretty compact so you can carry it around the resort with you. The bits have a compartment to store it so it doesn't get lost. The only problem was that one of the bits started to rust a bit after I used it on the mountain. Probably should've dried it off right away. Other than that it's a awesome product.
"Sick bindings!" 4/15/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Union Sierra Contact SL
  • Pros:  Good Flex, Upgraded Straps and Highback,
  • Cons:  Toe cap,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I used my friends Contacts after owning a pair of 09 ones. I definitely like the upgrade in the ankle straps and the highbacks. The feel otherwise is pretty much the same. You can feel the flex of the board more due to the 19% base plate contact. Love these bindings. You gotta try these out.
"Good Bindings for cheap price" 4/13/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Union Contact
  • Pros:  Lightweight, Good Flex,
  • Cons:  Lack of cushion on ankle strap,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   I took it out with the GNU CC. I was so fun to ride that day. The contacts were responsive enough to ride all mtn so it's not just for the park. The highback is a bit low so you kinda have to adjust the lean to get more response for your heelside. They only complaint I had was the ankle strap. It almost felt like there wasn't much cushioning and there was some pressure but a little bit of tweaking eased the discomfort.
"NICE PANTS" 4/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Ranger Snowboard Pants
  • Pros:  Look, Burton Pant Features Package , LIFETIME WARRANTY
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Little bit baggy

Experience:   I wear 33-34 waist jeans and got these in medium. They fit well with little bit of room in the waist so it's not too tight. The in seam is a bit longer than i expected making them a little bit baggy but it's not that bad. The pants kept me warm and 15k waterproofing for less than 80 bucks was a steal. I love the look and style the pants. On a side note these things came 4 days earlier than I expect. I LOVE SIERRA!!!
"Great Jacket" 3/23/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Strapped Down
  • Pros:  Warm, Waterproof,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  The jacket isn't baggy but isn't tight either.

Experience:   This jacket is extremely warm without being too bulky. The wrist and neck gaits are awesome and helped enhanced how warm this jacket is. Just an awesome jacket that keeps you dry and the snow out. Must get.
"warm gloves" 4/8/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Gore Tex
  • Pros:  Warm, comfortable, quick dry
  • Cons:  Tight fit if used with liner,

Experience:   So far I've only used on warmer days. The coldest was 32 and the gloves kept me pretty warm. Not sure about the durability as of yet have to give it a few more seasons. I guess for the price i got for isn't bad but i wouldn't pay full price for these.
"Sweet Board" 4/8/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Custom
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Carving,Jumps
  • Pros:  lightweight, Easy to carve, poppy, Popular model, Strong edgehold, Great value

Experience:   Rode this board for the first time today. Easy to carve and turn. Went over some some nasty ice patches and stuck like a champ. Love this board and can't wait to ride with it again next season.

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Option Paloma Womens
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Durable, lightweight, poppy

Experience:   Got this board for my sister. I"ve heard good things about this company but never used their products. When we got the board i was pleased with the graphics and the quality of the board. Too bad we have to wait till next season for her to try it out. Overall i'm pleased. Will write another review once she gets it in the snow.

  • Name: 2008 Analog Pulse
  • Pros:  Great for warm days. It's light and comfortable.
  • Cons:  It's kind of long. Falls over my eyes without goggles. You would probably have to wear this on top of something else to keep warm on colder days.
