"Ugh" 12/1/2011

  • Name: 2010 Gravis Indo Shoes
  • Pros:  None,
  • Cons:  Fall apart, Don't breathe,

Experience:   These are some of the worst shoes I have worn. They fall apart very quickly, they don't breathe at all, and there is something not right about the fit. Honestly, I wouldn't waste your time. This shoe feels just like the old tennis shoes from the 80's both in quality and performance. Get with it Gravis - don't buy the shoe.
"Prime Time" 8/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 32 Prime
  • Pros:  Articulating cuff, Optional flex, Great quality
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  stiff
  • Shoe Size:  10.5
  • Boot Size:  11.5

Experience:   I won these at a product toss last year and love them. They are a stiffer boot and I use them probably 75% of the time I ride. They lace up nice and tight so they hold your feet where they should be. With an articulating cuff you have a great deal of movement that you don't get with other boots. I have hiked in them and surprisingly at the end of the season, they still aren't packed out. I like not having extra room in the toe box after a season of riding on them. If you are looking for a boot you wont have to replace for a few seasons that wont let you down, look no further!
"Skate shoe feel" 8/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Rome Libertine
  • Pros:  VERY comfortable, Styling, True to size
  • Cons:  A little soft for big mountain,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  soft
  • Shoe Size:  10.5
  • Boot Size:  11.0

Experience:   I have no complaints about these boots. They seriously feel just like a favorite pair of shoes that fits just right. They are this way because they are incredibly soft. As such, I would mostly recommend them for resort or urban riding. They keep my feet warm and toasty and are incredibly durable for what I have put them through. Pick up a pair if you can still find some!
"Love, pure love." 8/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 686 Smarty Uzi Tweed
  • Pros:  Bomb proof, Super warm, Styling details including radio pocket
  • Cons:  A little heavy,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  A little baggy = just right

Experience:   I have loved this jacket since the day I put it on. I used it for an entire season and it still looks brand new. It is very well made and a ton of pockets. It is a 3-in-1 jacket which works well if you don't like to layer. I can get away wearing this coat with a t-shirt even on very cold days. The inner jacket is supposed to also be used for wearing around town but it is a weird cut and I would never wear it alone. If you find this jacket anywhere and need something that will keep you warm and stylish, pick this up!
"Mneh" 8/5/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Burton Cartel 2008
  • Pros:  Comfy straps,
  • Cons:  Super high highbacks, Paint comes over very easy, Highbacks crack easily
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I picked up a pair of these a few seasons ago (brand new) and wasn't really impressed with them. The skybacks on these binders went really high up my calf and were very uncomfortable when doing heelside turns. After a season of riding, lots of the paint (especially on the ratchets where it looks metal) was scratched or had peeled off. I ended up cracking the right highback on the bindings and luckily burton replaced it for free. But, I would rather just have a good quality product...

  • Name: 2009 Rome Agent
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Off Trail,Park,Powder,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Light, Durable, Graphics
  • Cons:  Topsheet chips easily,

Experience:   I am so in love with this board. I own both the 08 and 09 versions (in different sizes) and have nothing but good to say about it/them. It has just the right amount of pop and the true twin shape allows for easy switch riding. I have easily over 100 days on the '08 and it still looks brand new. The ones I own are traditional camber and they work great. If you are looking for an all mountain board for a reasonable price, grab this one!
"Dominant" 8/5/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Dominant
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Well built, Great graphic, Pre-tuned edges
  • Cons:  You can't stick stickers on it, Heavy,

Experience:   I got this board on a great deal last year and rode it a few times. It isn't as buttery as I thought it would be but then again, this is a mid level board. I love how well built it is and it can definitely take a beating. It holds and edge just fine and it fun to ride around. This is definitely a park board and doesn't do well at all in powder. I tried the pipe with it and it was just too heavy compared to other boards I have.
"Chapel Jacket" 8/4/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Analog Chapel
  • Pros:  Cool styling, Warm, Good quality
  • Cons:  Runs very big,
  • Jacket Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  XL
  • Description:  VERY baggy

Experience:   I got this jacket as a gift for Christmas and took it out a few times on the mountain. I love the styling of the jacket and how it looks just like a flannel. It is very warm with the insulation and I never got cold. That being said, it doesn't breathe very well and so my rides down the mountain felt a little stuffy. Overall though, it is a great jacket for the price.
"M-AZING" 8/4/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Ak 3L Pitto
  • Pros:  Goretex, Just the right amt of pockets, Great color
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  This is definitely a little bigger but goes works well for powder because it covers your gloves

Experience:   I used this jacket for about 50 days on the mountain this last year and never got wet once. It held up to 4 ft+ powder days in the backcountry and I loved it. If you want a lightweight performance shell, get this one!
"Toolbelt" 8/4/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 686 Original Snow Toolbelt
  • Pros:  Works great,

Experience:   I wear this belt every single day and use it for just about everything it was designed for! Opening bottles with the can opener and having an extra flathead and phillips is always handy!
"Solid stuff" 7/9/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 686 Acc Fuse Snowboard Pants Men's
  • Pros:  Fit, Style, Breathability
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  A little loose

Experience:   I rode these all last season and have no complaints. The waterproofing is still good on them and they fit perfectly. Definitely get them!
"Jacket" 5/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Rome Stanton Bonded
  • Pros:  slight waterproofing, Warm, styling
  • Cons:  bigger than normal pockets,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  It is just right. The hem at the bottom is snug but stretchy.

Experience:   This jacket is awesome. I wear it mostly just as a hoodie on rainy days. I have worn it a handful of times in spring conditions at Park City and it did just great. Because it is just a bit longer than normal, it keeps the slush out when riding. I am thinking about buying another in black.
"Wow." 8/31/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Dakine High Roller
  • Pros:  HUGE, padded all around, strategically placed pockets for all your stuff
  • Cons:  when loaded down, it might be too heavy,

Experience:   My girlfriend got me this bag for my birthday and I absolutely love it. I can literally fit 4 boards in here with bindings mounted on the top one. Then, I can still fit a day's worth of gear in the other pockets. The top ones fit your boots, goggles, gloves and stuff like that while you can cram your jacket and pants and whatever else in the bag itself. The inside is lined with a tarp material that is completely waterproof so it wont leak in the car on the ride home if you didn't get all the snow off. It could be your quiver bag.
