"Very Impressed" 2/25/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 K2 Raygun Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Use:  Groomed,Low Speeds
  • Pros:  Easy Turning, Very Smooth Ride, Good Flex

Experience:   At 50 I was unsure if trying to snow kite or snowboard was such a good idea. I tried learning on a rental before taking the plunge but felt like I was riding a plank along with spending most of my time picking myself up. I was about to give up when I ran into a guy my age that had taken up snowboarding just a few years ago. He had purchased the Raygun at the start of this season and he just raved about how great this board was and how it had improved his riding. I took his advice and got this board. What a difference from rentals. I am doing much better and not spending so much time on my back side.

  • Name: 2011 K2 WWW Rocker Snowboard Youth
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Use:  Butters,Groomed,Jumps,Low Speeds,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  Super Easy to Ride,

Experience:   Got this board for my oldest son. He told me now he know's what it's like to ride a real board. He says the graphics are sick. He loves it and that is all that matters. Dad did good with this surprise.
"Awesome Boot - Super Comfy" 2/13/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Jeremy Jones
  • Pros:  Great out of the box!!!, Super Comfy Boot!!!, Solid Construction!!!
  • Cons:  None Yet!!!,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  10.5
  • Boot Size:  11.5

Experience:   Just received these yesterday AM. Wore them 6 hours in the house after I got them. Couldn't believe the comfort. Wore them today for a 4 hour session of kite boarding. No sore spots, no pressure points... Comfortable the whole time. I am so happy I chose these boots.
"Great Pants!!!" 1/29/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Bonfire Spectral Snowboard Pants Men's
  • Pros:  Allows for Layering in Cold Climates, Waterproof, Bark Color is only subtle color
  • Cons:  Bark color is only subtle color,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  XL
  • Fits Like:  XL
  • Description:  Waist is spot on but pant is baggy

Experience:   I bought this pant mainly for kite skiing. I also use them quite a bit for snow tubing outings with the family. They are waterproof so they keep me dry all day. When kneeling in these in the snow to prep a kite I get no wet soak through like I used to with my old pants.
"Great Boot But Watch Sizing" 1/27/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Stumpy
  • Pros:  Comes with 2 liners soft and firm, Very Comfortable,
  • Cons:  Sizing is way off,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  7
  • Boot Size:  8.5

Experience:   I got these for my son who usually wears a men's 7 and his foot measures a 7 narrow. It took an 8.5 in this boot for his toes not to be crushed while wearing a medium weight merino wool sock. Once he got the size right he fell in love with the boot. He likes to be able to change the liners from soft to stiff depending on his riding mood. The boot had plenty of width for him just be aware the boot runs on the small side.
"My Son Rave's About These" 1/25/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 LTD Team Gold Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  Very Adjustable,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   My son wanted Cartels but those were out of his budget so dad got him these. He was very pumped at how they looked and was very excited to find all the fine tuning adjustments on the binding. He was shocked when I showed him the price. They are not the Cartels he wanted but he seems very happy with these. He's used them twice and thinks they are great. We will see how they hold up.
"My Boy's Love Them" 1/22/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2006 Dakine Mountain Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  Tall, Great Grip, Great Job at Cleaning the Snow
  • Cons:  Should be a 3 pack,

Experience:   My boy's have tried many stomp pad's. We ran across these on TruSnow and they wanted to give them a try. They love them. They said they wished there were 3 in a pack though. Make sure you follow the Dakine instructions. They were to anxious to get going so the first set did not stick to long. We followed instructions on the next set and they seem to be like they are bolted on now. We will be getting another set to replace the one we ruined the adhesive on and probably an extra set so they can have 3 each. I think they want 3 each because the green and black look so cool on their boards.
