"Awesome 1st Board" 3/12/2009
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2006 Burton Cruzer
  • Use:  Boxes,Carving,Powder,Rails
  • Pros:  Durable, Easy to carve, Great value, Well known brand
  • Cons:  Top sheet scratches

Experience:   These are great and theyre different from the cruzer rental since it doesn't have that thick protective layer on top so this board is lighter. It's really forgiving, meaning that the board is designed to help you learn how to ride so it saves you by not getting easily caught. you won't fall as easy with this board. It's durable so youll be able to practice and hit things or people and the board will still be fine! Excellent board!
"Good Board" 3/12/2009
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2006 Burton Cruzer Rental
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Use:  Carving,Powder
  • Pros:  Durable, Easy to carve, Well known brand
  • Cons:  Too stiff, Heavy

Experience:   this is usually the rental board that resorts rent out. It was great for me to learn now, i loved it so much i bought my own (2006 model). downside is that it has a protective layer on top so it makes the board kinda heavy. other than that, this is a great board to learn and progress on!
"Own the stairs and more" 10/25/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Capita Stairmaster Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Jumps,Rails
  • Pros:  poppy, price, traditional camber

Experience:   I'm a beginner/intermediate rider when it comes to park and this deck handles the jibs and jumps like a pro. Sure reverse camber has some pros and a lot of hype but you can't go wrong with traditional camber. so much pop and stability for the entire mountain. It feels a tad stiff out of the plastic but breaks in to be an a soft board. Easy to press but certainly not a noodle so you can take it down the black diamonds with ease. I love camber for jumps, this board makes landing a breeze if you ever land tail heavy. If you are looking for a park/freestyle camber deck, search no more. this is it.
"Reverse Reverse" 9/23/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Sierra Reverse Crew Snowboard
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  High Speeds,Park,Powder,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  Floats well, FAST like a nascar, Versatile
  • Cons:  top sheet scratches easily,

Experience:   I used the RC for all mountain, powder riding, and park. It floats really well in pow and is super fast on any slope. Took it out after a 18 inch socal pow dump and it floated with ease. Quite soft in the park too which was a surprise to me. I actually learned how to butter on this board because it was so playful. The only complaints I have was the top sheet scratching real easy. I also don't really like the v-rocker design because i feel the board initiates the turn from the middle of the board as oppose to the contact points. Great all around deck for those who just want 1 do it all board though.
"Sunion Contact" 5/19/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Union Sierra Contact SL
  • Pros:  Lightweight, Sleek, Park monster
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   Some people say these are too soft for all mountain riding but I found them to perform quite well everywhere, especially in the park. I found it performed the best when buttering and riding the jibs in the park. I was still able to bomb the steeps just fine. THe straps are comfy and the adjustments are simple. overall, for the price listed, these bindings are a steal. great all around for me personally, and it will kill it in the park for anyone beginner to advance.
"sbtm sbtm" 1/19/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Special Blend SBTM Bolt 24 Pk
  • Pros:  high quality sticker,
  • Cons:  wish they were die cut,

Experience:   slapped one on my deck and got plenty of compliments. sticker isnt paper based so it sticks pretty well, just wish they made them in decals. pretty cheap for 99 cent for 24 of em, but sucks that shipping is $6 even for stickers.
"Tricks on the triad" 1/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Triad
  • Pros:  comfy cushions, stylish, response
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   when strapping up i definitely felt the additional cushion on the ankle straps compared to the cartel, but when riding they were basically the same bindings. rode 90% park hitting jumps after jumps after boxes and more jumps and didnt feel a single shock on the landings. responsive when shredding down the slopes but just right when using it for tricks in the park.
"09 Rant Headwear" 12/26/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 K2 Rant Pro
  • Pros:  Low profile, simple yet stylish, $price!

Experience:   I got lucky and got this at sports chalet sale for $15!!! Definitely worth more, protected/saved my head quite a few times in the park. Lots of room for stickers and i dig the simple design. My ears got cold every now and then from snow flying through the vents in the ear padding. But still an awesome helmet.
"Fresh and Chill" 12/14/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Special Blend Brigade
  • Pros:  warm, good price, lots of features
  • Cons:  a little big,
  • Jacket Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Loose and comfy

Experience:   i got medium for this jacket and it was a little loose on me. Other than that, no complaints. it has a ton of features like a hook for you to attach your lift ticket to, and u can yank on the hook so it extends and retracts like a yoyo. keeps me warm even on the coldest days/nights even i wear 1 tshirt underneath. no vents so i wear something else on the sunny n warm days. has a ton of pockets, love the color scheme, simple n yet chill.
"Capita done reverse camber right!!!" 11/22/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Capita Horrorscope FK
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Use:  Boxes,Jumps,Rails
  • Pros:  Soft like a noodle, lots of pop, it's a Capita for crying out loud = great quality, easy to crave, handles great

Experience:   This is a nasty board. Not just the graphics but the way you can butter with barely lifting a foot and the ease it gives you when you crave. It took me awhile to get use to the rocker technology but I am a huge fan of it now. The feel it gives you when you're craving down the hill, buttering, or riding boxes is amazing! It does feel similar to a skateboard at times, and although some people say landing jumps with reverse camber is hard I was able to hit the park jumps just fine as long as I didn't land completely on my tail. It is suppose to be a stairmaster rocker but it is definitely a lot softer and personally I like the feel a lot more BUT rocker or not it is preference. CAPITA RULEZ!!!!
"Reverse rocker" 11/22/2009

  • Name: 2010 Capita Stairmaster
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Jumps,Rails
  • Pros:  durable, amazing price, sick graphics
  • Cons:  a little on the stiff side,

Experience:   The stairmaster is a fantastic park board that you can bring outside of the park as well. It handled very well at high speeds and can crave down the slopes with ease. Landing jumps were made easier since the camber gives you the benefit of landing on your tail and not slipping out under you. On boxes it slides really well and gives you a nice balance. I love the graphics and the price of this board makes it an awesome park board for beginners and experts.
"Crazy cool Cartel" 11/11/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Cartel
  • Pros:  Looks sleek, Comfy, Responsive
  • Cons:  Price,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I'm an intermediate rider and am starting to get into park. Being my second binding upgrade from the customs, theres are amazing. Super comfortable and responsive. You can adjust the ankle straps to give more power or adjust for for flexibility. I actually like the forward lean option, at normal they feel great too. The ankle straps have a lot of cushion and the toe cap helps with response as well. These bindings are awesome, although kind of expensive.
