  • Cons:  n/a,
  • Fit:  Just right

"Great otg" 12/26/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Smith Knowledge OTG
  • Pros:  Cheap, durable, good fit,
  • Cons:  no fan,

Experience:   This is a great otg goggle, but I would go with the model that carries a fan. If you do a lot of hard riding, you can't afford to go blind at the wrong time.
"great otg" 12/26/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Smith Knowledge Turbo Fan OTG
  • Pros:  perfect fog protection,, great fit,
  • Cons:  price,

Experience:   These are probably the most effective otg goggles that I have ever used. The fan is almost a necessity when dealing with prescription eye-wear.
"Good OTG" 12/26/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Oakley Proven Otg Goggles
  • Pros:  Cheap, durable, good fit,
  • Cons:  some fog,

Experience:   These were pretty good fitting otg goggles, which is rare. I had to put some cutouts in the bottom vents to keep exhaled air from coming through and fogging up my glasses.

  • Cons:  tight fit,
  • Fit:  Too small
  • My Size:  M

  • Cons:  price,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  S

Experience:   These are some pretty awesome socks. They don't add alot of bulk to your boot and they keep your feet super warm in the winter and wick sweat in the spring.
"Nice ride" 12/23/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Forum Youngblood
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Butters,Groomed,High Speeds,Jibs,Jumps,Low Speeds,Off Trail,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Flex, light, durable, FUN!,graphic steez,
  • Cons:  nada,

Experience:   My brother got this board and I got to spend a little time on it. I love the way these boards ride and they are light enough to manipulate. I would have gone with the rocker version though (i normally ride a substance chillydog)
"Decent starter bindings" 12/23/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Flow Muse Womens
  • Pros:   durable, forgiving, easy to use,
  • Cons:  boot slip,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   I put these bindings on my gf's starter board and they have worked out pretty well. They do allow for a considerable amount of slip, so new bindings will be due with more aggressive riding.
"Classy Shirt" 12/23/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Forum 2 Tone Icon Shirt - Men's
  • Pros:  warm, comfortable, it will get you a date,
  • Cons:  nada,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  loose/light

Experience:   This is a pretty good fitting long t. The fabric of these shirts is pretty soft to the touch, but warm enough for use as an undershirt on the cold days.
"It proctects your face" 12/22/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Forum Destroyer Bandana
  • Pros:  its cloth, fits over face, warm,

Experience:   I ordered two of these, one for myself and one as a gift. They are a decent bandanna, but one of the ones I got started coming apart pretty early. Other than that, the bandanna does what it is supposed to do.
"Great File" 12/22/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Dakine Edge Tuner Tool
  • Pros:  compact, Easy to use, cheap, durable,

Experience:   I have used this file for about half a season and it has always helped get the job done. I did have some issues getting fine edge adjustments done with this file, but its a good piece to have in the bag at tune up time.
"Decent lock" 12/22/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Cable Lock
  • Pros:  Effective deterrent, compact,
  • Cons:  poor design,

Experience:   I bought this lock last year and have been using it on the hill for a half season or more. I have never had a board stolen, but lets face it, the mountains and the resorts are not the same as they used to be. The recoil-er design shows some obvious flaws and areas for early failure due to something like a spring coming loose on a hard landing.
"Awsome shirt" 12/21/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Sierra Ready to Butter
  • Pros:  cheap, classy, it will get you a date,
  • Cons:  n/a,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  loose

Experience:   Picked up some of these last year. They are thicker shirts, which is nice for base layer and they stand up to skating abuse pretty well.
"super warm gloves" 12/20/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Foursquare Allen
  • Pros:  warm, comfortable,
  • Cons:  not very durable,

Experience:   I have been using these gloves for a year and they have never let my fingers down. They have worn rather quickly though. I imagine that the finger tips wont make to long into this season.
"Great gift item" 12/20/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Foursquare Nicole Womens
  • Pros:  warm, comfortable,
  • Cons:  not very durable,

Experience:   My girlfriend has been using these gloves for about a year and she really likes them. They are very comfortable and have a removable fleece liner. The tips of the fingers started to fray pretty early and that will lead to holes in the gloves.
"Heavy Duty" 12/20/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Quiksilver Bang Bang
  • Pros:  warm, classy, it will get you a date,
  • Cons:  on the heavy side,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Awesome

Experience:   I have been using this thing for awhile now and it has held up really well. It is super warm, but it does weigh a bit much.

  • Pros:  Warm, soft,
  • Cons:  price,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L

  • Name: 2009 Forum Destroyer
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Butters,Groomed,High Speeds,Jibs,Jumps,Off Trail,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Flex, light, durable, FUN!,graphic steez,
  • Cons:  n/a,

Experience:   This was an awesome board. The destroy never disappoints. Its a pretty light board and has a pretty even and soft flex for pressing out on rails or butters. I didn't get to ride this board very long, but it was great while it lasted.
"Awesome Board" 12/19/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Forum Destroyer Travis Kennedy
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Boxes,Jumps,Rails
  • Pros:  Flex, light, durable, FUN!,graphic steez,
  • Cons:  nada,

Experience:   My friend won this board from sierra and let me take it for a week. I liked the softer flex and jib-worthy shape of the board. It was light and easy to maneuver. The destroyer is always a sweet stick, and this TK is all its legacy entails.
"Great binding" 12/18/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Forum Shaka
  • Pros:  color, flex, weight, comfort,
  • Cons:  price,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   I got these bindings on warranty for some republics, so it worked out pretty good for me. The price is pretty steep, but after riding them I would say that it is well worth it. These are some of the best bindings you can get.

  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Use:  Groomed,Park,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Cheap, durable, forgiving, easy to control,
  • Cons:  heavy,

Experience:   This was a pretty good board for the price. I used it for a season and now lend it to friends that ride with me. I put some abuse on my board and it is holding up pretty well.
"Great Jacket" 12/17/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Analog Pallet
  • Pros:  Warm, Windbreak, Steez, comfort,
  • Cons:  on the heavy side,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  XL
  • Description:  Loose

Experience:   I have been wearing this coat on the mountain and just when its cold for about a year and it has held up really well. The coat has a ton of useful pockets (and a few useless ones). The hood is pretty useless without goggles to hold up the bill, but all around its a quality coat.
"Awesome Great Pants" 12/17/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 686 ACC Syndicate
  • Pros:  Warm, Windbreak, Steez, comfort,
  • Cons:  small cargo pockets,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  loose

Experience:   I have been using these pants for about a year and they have held up super well. They are very warm and provide great protection from the wind. In the spring they get a bit warm, but with the vents open its not too bad.
"May cause insanity" 12/16/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Videograss Snowboard DVD
  • Pros:  Great shots,
  • Cons:  nada,

Experience:   This was a sick vid. It contains some pretty progressive riding and it will surely drive you insane if you are unable to go ride immediately. Be sure to check this one out!
"Classic fit" 12/16/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Analog AG Analogo TShirt Men's
  • Pros:  durable, classy, it will get you a date,
  • Cons:  n/a,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  awesome

Experience:   This is a pretty awesome classic design logo shirt from analog. It has a more fitted feel then a generic off the shelf T and is made from a pretty soft fabric. It is holding up pretty well to washing as well!
"Great sock" 12/16/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Phase
  • Pros:  Warm, sweat mitigation, thin,
  • Cons:  price,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  one size fits most

Experience:   This is a great sock. It doesn't take up much space in the boot, but it still provides adequate insulation on the coldest days. The great part is that it never seems too cold in the winter and it is never too hot in the late spring.
"Pretty good - starter board" 12/15/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Roxy Sugar Bunnies Snowboard Girl's
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Use:  Groomed,Low Speeds,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  Cheap, durable, forgiving, easy to control ,
  • Cons:  heavy for size, poor construction,

Experience:   My girlfriend is using this board to pick up snowboarding. She had never even been on a mountain before this. She said that this board was much easier to use than the rental boards she tried. It has pretty spotty construction, gaps at the edge of the base along the metal inlay. However for the price and the kind of riding it will see, it is a good deal.
"Decent " 12/15/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Rossignol HC1000 Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  cheap, durable,
  • Cons:  uncomfortable after ~ an hour+,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   These bindings are pretty cheap and I have had them on a loaner board for awhile and they stand up to a ton of abuse. They pinch a little hard to get the control you need, but they make a good plan B.
"Great gift item" 12/15/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Volcom Detroit Quilted Zip Hoodie - Women's
  • Pros:  warm, bright, windbreak,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  loose

Experience:   Got this for my girlfriend and she is really happy with it. Pretty thick, so you might not wear it unless its pretty cold, but that helps out where we live.
"Best fabic on earth" 12/15/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Analog Resident Fitted TShirt
  • Pros:  fit, fabric, color, design,
  • Cons:  n/a,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  loose/light

Experience:   This is a great fitting, light, and comfortable shirt. I will warn you though, dry on low heat with the shirt inside out. Those large graphics turn to sketch otherwise.
"Great Coat" 12/14/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Bonfire Baker Snowboard Jacket Men's
  • Pros:  color, windbreak, durable,
  • Cons:  not a heavy jacket,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  XL
  • Description:  loose

Experience:   This is a great jacket, better for spring riding. Otherwise, you might plan on wearing a hoodie under it. This coat has taken some abuse and is holding up well, but it isn't used much off the mountain.
"Demo-great boot" 12/14/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Flow Rival QuickFit
  • Pros:  Stiff, durable, easy to use,
  • Cons:  on the heavy side,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  stiff
  • Shoe Size:  11
  • Boot Size:  11

Experience:   These boots are a great fit for backcountry and good response at higher speeds. They were a little heavy for my liking, but some other people didn't mind it. I wouldn't say it is my first choice in the park, but its high on the list for that trip to AK.
"Great while it lasted" 12/14/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Forum The Republic Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  flex, light, color,
  • Cons:  plastic, breakage ,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   I rode these pretty hard and had a highback break after 15 days. So, I owned them, but it was more like a demo. I think it was the conditions that caused the stress on the highback. I couldn't give it 5/5 because it is still a mid-level binding. While I used it, I noticed that they flex pretty well and are very light. It all worked out well though because Burton/Forum warranty covered it and I got a pair of Shaka bindings for replacements. Win.
