"Great for POW" 11/11/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Coal Knit Clava Facemask Men's
  • Pros:  Warm, breathable, Stays dry
  • Cons:  Possibly too snug with a helmet,

Experience:   Just picked up this bad boy after hitting up all the pow with my bandana and it got completely soaked and froze. The coal knit clava is legit! It is way more breathable than a bandana. It keeps my whole face warm and dry. It was a little wet on the outside after I got snow all over it, but the inside stayed warm. Another thing I love about it is that you can pull the opening below your nose/mouth so you can breath fresh air if you want. I'd recommend this to anyone/everyone who wants to keep their face warm and dry in any condition!
"Just can't go wrong with this board!" 10/16/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 DC MLF Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Park,Powder,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  Has a playful flex, Stable enough for jumps/high speed/pow, Switch riding is awesome due to twin shape
  • Cons:  You start to wish it was more flexible,

Experience:   I picked up this board because I really trust DC and their quality of boards. My other board is the DC PJ&B. I honestly love both boards but I like the MLF because of the stability of the control and the speed. It's a twin shape so I love the fact the symmetry and the fact that riding switch won't feel too different. The flex of the board gives it a nice pop coming off jumps/logs/boxes. I highly recommend this board because it works well in all conditions and riding style. Great board all mountain board!
"Legit Bindings" 11/28/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Burton Cartel Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Comfy with lots of padding, Very sturdy and High quality, Responsive
  • Cons:  None,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Rode this with the Sierra Reverse Crew and I had a blast. First thing that stood out to me was the fact that the bindings had lots of padding and cushion. It made fit very comfortable. I didn't really notice a flex in these bindings, that why I said they were sturdy..if I had to choose, I'd say mid-flex. They feel very strong and well built. Also, in my opinion, they are more responsive/sturdy than my Burton Triads. Burton also does a great job making they look GOOD. Honestly, you can't go wrong with these bindings.
"Absolutely Amazing" 11/28/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Sierra Reverse Crew Snowboard
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Jibs
  • Pros:  Buttery, Stable at High speeds, Light and fast
  • Cons:  None,

Experience:   I rode this board for the whole day and was completely impressed with it. It was my first time riding a reverse camber board and it definitely feels different. First off, the board is soft and flexible allowing you to nail presses with ease. The board is really playful in a sense that it can do a lot of tricks a lot easier than other boards can. Second, I thought that soft/flexible boards were unstable at high speeds...that is not the case with this Reverse Crew. I removed the wax the night before I took it out and it was a speed demon. Very stable at high speeds and took turns like a beast. It was also noticeably lighter than my preview board (DC PBJ) and I really enjoyed the way it rode. It hugs the rails/boxes with love and care. Simply put, this is a fantastic snowboard.
"I expected more from Burton" 11/11/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Baker Gloves
  • Pros:  Fits perfect, Simple,
  • Cons:  Not warm, Not completely waterproof, Leather cracks/rips

Experience:   Had these gloves for about 8 months and I honestly was NOT happy with them. I really expected more from Burton. They fit pretty well and they stay true to their size, I always wear a medium. First off, they do not keep your hands/fingers warm. They are also SOAKED inside and out by the end of the day. Finally the leather palm actually cracked and started to rip. My roommates all go gortex gloves and I should have also. Because of these gloves, I will never buy any leather gloves again.
"My favorite beanie!" 11/6/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Neff Trio Beanie
  • Pros:  Fits perfect, Looks great, Light and breathable
  • Cons:  None.,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Perfect. Has a little space above the head..it looks great!

Experience:   This is my favorite beanie, I literally wear it all the time. I have the black, green, blue one and I get so many compliments. Like it said, it fits really well. If you're wondering how it fits...I wear a medium size helmet and my hat size is 7 3/8. It's one of those beanies where you have a little space on the top of your head, but it's not so much where it hangs back. The material is really light and breathable. It's also very stretchy so it usually covers my ears, as well as the back of my neck. The NEFF logo is in the perfect spot. All in all, this is a great beanie. 10/10.
"I LOVE ELECTRIC" 10/20/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Electric EG1S Snowboard Goggles Gloss Black/Brone Lens
  • Pros:  Awesome sleek design, simple and fits great, no fog
  • Cons:  Got water and if fogged,

Experience:   I love my EG1s so much. It's hands down my favorite goggles by far. Electric designs their goggles very well and it's attractive to everyone. The lens I have have are the stock lens that came with it and it's awesome. Works greatest when the sun is out..at night not too great. The goggles does not fog..except ONE time when I was boarding and it rained and I got water inside my goggles and the next time I went the goggles fogged so much. Besides that, these are amazing goggles. If anything, I'm considering upgrading to the EG2, but the EG1s is fantastic already. It's nice to be able to see your peripherals and all while boarding. I highly, highly recommend the Electric EG1s. Get on it!
"Can't go wrong with Dakine!" 10/18/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Dakine Legacy Gloves
  • Pros:  Waterproof, Warm, Keeps snow out!
  • Cons:  Very very snug with liners,

Experience:   I tried this gloves for 2 days on the mountain and it is pretty much solid. I feel you can't go too wrong when buying gloves and Dakine gloves are legit. They are completely waterproof and my hands were kept toasting the whole time. You can tighten the gloves on the wrist so that it keeps all the snow out. My hands were dry the whole time. After I tried it, my cousin actually bought them at our local Colorado Ski shop. He loves them. The only down side I see with these gloves is when it gets REALLY cold and I want to wear my liners and it gets way too tight in the glove. Other than that, these are solid gloves. I'd recommend this to everyone.
"Perfect for Preseason and post season riding!" 10/16/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Burton Touchscreen Liner Gloves
  • Pros:  The finger tips!, Perfect snug fit and Light, Stays dry
  • Cons:  NONE,

Experience:   I just picked up these bad boys last week and used them yesterday. The condition snow condition was crappy because it was 50 degrees and it was machine packed snow. I work just the liners and it kept my hand pretty warm and dry. They aren't waterproof, but if you don't soak them in water, they stay pretty dry even engulfed with snow. The BEST part about the glove is the fact that I can use my iPhone with my liners on! I can't wait to pair them up with my gloves on a cold day. But as for now, these liners will prevent my hands from being cold until the pow comes down.
"All you need in a helmet" 10/13/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Giro Shiv Snowboard Helmet
  • Pros:  Very comfortable, Very Sturdy, Simple shape, not too many curves
  • Cons:  Ear parts aren't removable., Get a little toasty,

Experience:   I love this helmet because it's simple and everything I wanted in a helmet. I wasn't attracted to all the different shapes or helmets like the army one or the one with the visor. It saved my head a few times so this is always a good investment. The only thing I don't really like about this helmet is the fact that the ear pieces are NOT removable like other helmets. Besides that, this helmet is sick and it will save your life!
