By now, most riders have heard quite a bit about the notorious double cork - the halfpipe trick that Kevin Pearce was practicing when he suffered a serious brain injury on Dec. 31, 2009.

But what exactly is a double cork? And how does the trick fit into riders halfpipe repertoire going into the 2010 Winter Olympics in Whistler?
