Sierrasnowboard.com was unable to switch off their Cyber Monday Sale this morning due to the disappearance of their lead programmer. Travis Logan, age 29 was last seen celebrating the end of a successful cyber Monday sale in the mission district of San Francisco. Known for its hipster residents, the bars were full of industry members letting off steam from what is being reported as the biggest cyber Monday on record. Colleagues report their night started off with heavy drinking at Doc’s Clock on Mission Street and then “We went to some bar afterwards, but I forget what it was” says friend Jimmy Park.
When Travis didn’t show up Tuesday morning, attempts were made to call him on his iphone. "His calls were going strait to voicemail, which isn't anything new since his iphone is always either out of batteries or doesn't get reception in San Francisco". Says former iphone user and collegue Erik Christiansen. With very little further details, the concern has shifted that Logan may have been attacked by a cougar.
Sierra L2 programmers are working hard to update the discount scripting but with Sierras advanced security restrictions the process has been slowed. “We have had to work backwards to undo the price scripts, we should have the capacitor flux completed to put the products back to the future pricing.” Say Developer Myke Myers.
Until the situation is resolved, Sierrasnowboard.com will continue to honor the 70-80% off pricing on their snowboard sale
