The Best of Gravis Shoes
Written By: Mike.M
Gravis Footwear has evolved their brand identity and product selection since its inception in 1998. Gravis is no longer just an offshoot of Burton that sells weird looking lifestyle shoes. Gravis Footwear offers a broad range on shoes from skateboard specific models, boating shoes, urban styles, sandals and womens models. Below I will break down the most popular Gravis Shoes and Products.
The Gravis Tarmac is the heart of the line with men and womens models that cover all spectrums of sport, fashion and fit. The Gravis Tarmac Vulc exemplifies simplicity. These shoes offer a slim fit and design for skateboarders and regular guys like me. I took a risk with the yellow pair and love them! The Gravis Tarmac is made of a variety of materials from suede to hard leather for extra durability. Finally, the Tarmac Mid and Hi Cuts represent a more urban design for extra flavor.
The largest selection of Gravis Shoes comes in the Lowdown Series. There is the Gravis Lowdown in several colors and patterns, the Gravis Lowdown Hi Cut, and the must have Lowdown Slip On. With men and women’s styles there is literally a pair for any occasion. I find that the Lowdown fits one half size smaller than normal.
If you are looking for a sportier shoe, look no further than the Gravis Indo Shoes. The Indos remind me of my favorite pair of Saucony walking shoes. They are great for skateboarding, running or my favorite use, wearing with shorts and no socks…sorry for the smell.
No matter your flavor in life, Gravis has the Footwear for you.
